Lets save the World of Hell

After the ODM Gear test was completed, the cadets now had to undergo team combat training.

Instructor Keith Shadis stood in the middle of the field with a cold expression.

"LISTEN UP, YOU MAGGOTS!!!"

Adam covered one ear and muttered, "Here we go again…"

Keith continued, "YOU WILL BE DIVIDED INTO TEAMS OF THREE!!! THIS TRAINING WILL TEST YOUR TEAMWORK AND STRATEGIC ABILITIES!!!"

The cadets began whispering, hoping to be placed in a good team.

Adam glanced around. Hmm, I wonder who I'll be teamed up with.

Then, Keith started reading the team assignments.

"TEAM 5!!!"

Adam listened carefully.

"ADAM!!! MIKASA!!! CHRISTA!!!"

Huh?!

Adam turned to look at Mikasa and Krista.

Mikasa remained as calm as ever, but Adam caught a glimpse of what seemed like satisfaction on her face.

Meanwhile, Christa was slightly surprised before smiling softly.

"I'm happy to be on a team with you two."

Adam shrugged. "Well, looks like we make a pretty good team."

In the distance, Ymir narrowed her eyes, staring at Adam with suspicion.

Why is this guy always near Christa?!

Training Begins!

This training was a simulated battle against fake Titans.

The cadets had to use their ODM Gear to attack wooden Titan dummies placed throughout the field.

Keith shouted, "YOUR GOAL IS TO KILL AS MANY FAKE TITANS AS POSSIBLE!!!"

Mikasa, Adam, and Krista immediately prepared themselves.

Adam turned to his two teammates. "Alright, how should we do this?"

Mikasa responded quickly, "I can attack swiftly and secure the kills."

Christa said, "I can support by pointing out better strategic positions."

Adam nodded. "Alright then, I'll distract the fake Titans and find the best openings."

The three of them sprang into action.

Adam, Mikasa, and Christa in Action!

As the simulation started, Adam quickly launched himself using his ODM Gear, shooting his cables at the trees with smooth movements.

Mikasa moved like a shadow—fast and deadly.

Christa stayed focused, using her position to provide information to Adam and Mikasa.

"Adam, there's one on the right!" Christa called out.

"Got it!" Adam swung toward the wooden Titan.

He distracted it by throwing a rock at its head before spinning around and slashing its weak spot.

Slash!

The wooden Titan collapsed.

Mikasa, on the other hand, was even more efficient.

Two attacks—two kills.

Christa supported from behind, helping the team stay on track.

Keith observed them with a serious expression.

This team… is very effective.

After training ended, the three of them gathered to rest.

Christa smiled. "That was great teamwork."

Adam sat on a rock and exhaled. "Yeah, not bad. But Mikasa was definitely the MVP."

Mikasa looked at him briefly. "You did great too."

Adam chuckled. "Don't praise me too much, or I'll get a big head."

Christa giggled, then unconsciously stared at Adam longer than usual.

Mikasa glanced at her but remained silent.

In the distance, Ymir was still eyeing Adam with suspicion.

Damn it, he's getting even closer to Christa…
