Connie and Gareth, on the other hand, had an important conversation. As someone who grew up in the twenty-first century, I couldn't relate to what Gareth was feeling. If you somehow gave me futuristic robots and ships, I would welcome them.

But for someone like him, who had dedicated his life to being a knight, it might have been difficult. But one silver lining was that he understood that he had the power to change his circumstances. That alone required immense maturity and strength.
