Lord of Mysteries: The Dream That Waits

Chapter 17: Explanation

"I'm the Fool Who Was Never Supposed to Be."

That line is a reflection of both Yeaia's existence and their connection to Klein's journey. Let me explain:

1. The Fool as a Role

In Lord of the Mysteries, the title "The Fool" isn't just a name—it represents an anomaly, an outsider, someone who doesn't belong to the natural order. Klein became the Fool because of his unnatural connection to the Gray Fog, an existence that defied conventional logic and fate.

Yeaia, similarly, is an anomaly—but in a different way. Unlike Klein, who was placed into the role of the Fool by accident (or divine intervention), Yeaia was never supposed to exist in the first place.

2. The Impossibility of Yeaia's Existence

Yeaia is not someone who was born, chosen, or ascended. They were written into existence. One day, they simply were, and the world accepted it.

But that's not how things are supposed to work.

Even in the mystical world of Lord of the Mysteries, everything follows a structure—there are gods, authorities, sequences, and cause-and-effect. If someone wants to become a Sequence 0, they must follow a clear progression of power. Even Klein, despite his unique position, followed a pathway to get where he is.

Yeaia, on the other hand, skipped all of that.

They are not part of the original divine plan. They are a glitch in the story of reality.

Which means…

Something—or someone—put them there.

3. "Who Was Never Supposed to Be"

This phrase suggests that Yeaia is an existence that should not have happened.

But if they weren't supposed to be—

Why do they exist?

Why does the world recognize them?

And more importantly—

What force keeps them from being erased?

This ties into their Pathway—the Forgotten Dreamer. A pathway about things that exist on the edges of reality, between fiction and truth. Yeaia is neither fully real nor fully unreal. They are a paradox.

And just like Klein was never meant to be the Fool, yet still became one…

Yeaia was never meant to exist—yet still does.

Which means they must have a purpose.

But what is it?
