MTLNOVEL Chapter 1: Rebirth
Within the darkness of the Third Epoch, a huge bright light appeared illuminating the ghastly world. Thunder roared as it covered the world. This was the area of the modern day Berserk Sea where the Six Orthodox Deities betrayed their Lord — The King of Space, Ruler of The Spirit World, The Door.
As the thunder started slowing down a crisp and darkened figure could be seen walking out of the sea of Lightning, "God, getting jumped by six Sequence 0 is disastrous." The man soon broke out into a self deprecating smile. He looked towards the future Orthodox Deities as his smile faded, "I still don't know the reason why you're betraying me?."
The Goddess of Misfortune, Amanises's gaze hardened, her black layered dress fluttered in the mighty wind as her hazy face became clear, "The Times are changing Door, and if you continue to exist it really is detrimental to us. I'm sorry but you have to die, our time together remains as one of my fondest memories. But this is necessary, I will never forget you Master."
Amanises tone carried a hint of sorrowness which quickly cleared up. Atticus had a regretful smile as he heard this, "That's the reason eh, well all of you are quite hypocritical you know. I'm close to my end, I know that but once I revive, my wrath and fury will await all of you." saying that Atticus quickly teleported towards the future Lord of Storms—Leodero and threw him up in the air. Instantaneously a blueish door manifested and pulled him towards it, the former Wind Angel tried to rearrange his matter and accelerate away from the attraction but failed as he was sent hurtling toward the mysterious space.
The former Wisdom Angel—Herabergen tried to use his omniscience to figures out where the Wind Angel disappeared to, but quickly failed. Herabergan's face turned grimm, "I can't see where that abominable tyrant went!" his gaze under his clear white hood hardened as he looked towards the Door who started showing signs of losing control.
Atticus felt his hold on his sanity slip as his eyes showed a hint of madness, his mythical creature form soon started showing, his arm and torso started showing signs of bluish-black fur which seemed to encompass the stars.
The former White Angel–Aucuses's eyes showed a hint of fear as his mouth slowly parted, "It can't be!." Atticus's smile widened as he said, "Yes it is, I had already foreseen all of you betraying me and so I made a few plans. This is the birth of the Magic Emperor, I have switched to the Black Emperor pathway!." Atticus's laughter echoed throughout the ruined land.

Within the starry sky, Leodero was barraged with natural disasters and his own Beyonder powers turning against him. His eyes lightened with enlightenment, "It can't be, this is the power of a Black Emperor!." As Leodero voiced his theory out, a chuckle filled the mysterious cosmos, "Oh my dear Tyrant it seems you've switched to the White Tower Pathway. I never expected you to figure it out so fast" his tone seemed to carry a hint of jolliness and exhilaration.
Instantly ten copies of Atticus appeared around him, each filled with laughter—this was the blink ability of a Planeswalker. Leodero took a step back as his lips curled up, "You were already a Sequence 0 trying to vy for the throne of a Great Old One, but switching to the Sequence 0 of the Lawyer pathway was a mistake. You were already a Sequence 0 of the Door Pathway so how can you become a Sequence 0 of the Black Emperor pathway. This just doesn't result in madness but slow degeneration and corruption, even if we didn't kill you, you would kill yourself."
Atticus's lips twitched, "You're right, but here's the thing I don't care!." Instantly all of his clones barraged the hapless Wind Angel with all sorts of Beyonder Powers. Leodero skin flashed with scales as his eyes turned white, as the isolated and concealed space started shaking. This was the power of Calamity Creation at the level of a deity.
"Oh no you don't!" Atticus's clone said in an unhappy tone as he started strengthening the space with the help of Magnify. Leodero's scale held against the numerous attacks from Replication, this included a Tryrant's Lightning Strike, a Sun's spear of light and more. Leodero soon felt his Spirituality not responding to him, this was the power of the Lord of The Mysteries.
Atticus was the ruler and owner of Sefirah Castle. This allowed him to partially access the power of both the Fool and Error pathway allowing him to partially become Lord of The Mysteries for a short period of time. He used his authority as dominator of the Spirit Realm to cease the Wind Angel's Spiritually. This was the power of a Great Old One, a Pillar of The Universe!.
Leodero's eyes flashed a hint of fear as he took a step back, his back broke into a cold sweat. He was about to die!. His defense had been negated, he was now bare to the power of the Magic Emperor.

Outside The Exiled Space
Atticus was engaged in a hectic battle with the remaining God's, his powers were weakening as his sanity was slowly reducing. He took a momentary pause to regain his strength from the continuous barrages from the Sun God.
Amanises soon started realising all of her captured spirits including the Demonic Wolf of Annihilation, Fleagra. Amanises soon coupled her and Fleagra's power together and with that started banishing all of his clones to the World of Concealment. But this was what Atticus wanted, with Fleagra Grafting his clone's existence to the real him, Amanises would be able to banish him for a long enough time that he would either lose control or allow Leodero to arrive.
But by grafting each of the existence to him, Amanises just boosted his power, each of his clones now were able to use the Authority of Lord of The Mysteries. 'This is the second time, I'm using the Authority of Lord of The Mysteries. If I continue like this, I would die faster by Celestial Worthy's will awakening in me then by their hands. I can't use the power of Lord of The Mysteries after this.'
Just as Atticus was about to use the Authority of Doors under the Lord of The Mysteries, his body became pregnant?. Atticus soon felt his control fading as a new will was dwarfing his own, this was the power of the former Angel of Life—Lilith, a fact the Conflict Angel—Badheil did not know.
Lilith had made Atticus pregnant with the will of Celestial Worthy, if Atticus did not die here the Celestial Worthy would reawaken!. Atticus growled at Lilith as his eyes started turning red, "You dare!, do you know what would if Celestial Worty is born!." Lilith's eyes showed a hint of sadness but she quickly composed herself, "If you forfeit your life right now Mr. Door, nothing would happen."
Atticus knew he couldn't continue to waste time, his opening was slipping. But the will of Celestial Worthy continued to roar throughout his mind, causing him to fall deeper into the pit of madness. But he soon reined himself and with the Door authority, he quickly sealed the White Angel, Secret Angel, and Wisdom Angel away, leaving the Life Angel and Conflict Angel alone with him.
Atticus turned his attention towards the Angel's as he took a deep breath, in front of his finger he created a small sphere of Entropy, Disorder, Chaos and Space Storm and magnified it with his powers. With this ball of frenzy he launched it towards the former Conflict Angel, even if he survived this encounter it would definitely make him lose control. He was just a newly ascended Sequence 0 after all.
Badheil's face turned grimm, as he stabbed his sword deep into the cracked and molten ground. A illusory organe illuminated in front of him as it bore the brunt of the Sphere of Destruction, The Conflict Angel then used his authority over Twilight to try and decay The Magic Emperor's attack.
Atticus turned towards Lilith and bestowed the Celestial Worthy's will, his madness of switching to a non-neighbouring pathway and his pregnancy towards the Goddess of Harvest, causing her to instantly lose control. His eyes soon gained clarity as his previous madness ceased to exist, "How wonderful the world is, I truly could not appreciate it's beauty before. One only learns the value of an object after they lose it, isn't that right Badheil?"
Atticus's gaze landed on how the God of Combat tried to decay his attack, "How pathetic, that Sphere exists in the past, the present and the future. It can never be decayed, you buffoon. Use your brains for once." Atticus's words turned out to be true, as the Sphere kept on increasing its potency and started cracking his Protection.
The Sphere soon broke through his defense and rushed at the tool, Badheil took a step back as he revealed his mythical creature form and tried to contain the destructo ball within mercury but immediately failed. The Sphere landed towards him and instantly started destroying his mythical creature form. "If your mythical creature form is destroyed, you would start losing control. The mythical creature form is intimately tied to your Spirit Body, a mythical creature form is your Spirit Body manifesting under the mutation of the potion. So have fun!." Atticus said in an elated tone.
The Sphere finally achieved fusion as it exploded in a blast, 'If this isn't contained it will take half the continent with it.' Atticus grit his teeth as he isolated the space and abolished it from reality, making it so that the blast never really existed in his plane but another. 'Hmm, it seems Badheil is caught up in it, ahh sucks for him I guess.'
He soon saw Badheil exiting the space, sustaining heavy injuries. 'His Supernatural Resistance saved him from dying, I guess I gotta end it now, I can't hold those bastards up anymore and because of that the Door's won't hold up much longer.'
Atticus instantly created a clone and sent it towards the Earth Mother, 'I wouldn't go near her even with a ten foot pole, she's a cesspool of corruption and madness.' Atticus and his clone soon brought their hands up in the air, as he was about to erase their existence, Atticus felt his existence shake, all his powers ceased to exist momentarily as all the Deities rushed towards him. At that moment, even Leodero escaped from his exile with heavy injuries.

Few moments ago Exiled Space
Leodero felt he was slipping into madness, he had not completely solidified his sanity from ascending to Sequence 0 and the Ancient Sun God's Imprints over his characteristics started rebelling. He felt he was quite foolish to accept bringing down The Door before he consolidated his position.
His hair started turning blonde as his eyes grew white, the Ancient Sun God was trying to revive!. Atticus upon seeing his state muttered silently, "So Almighty is reviving within you, hmm we had a deal so I won't interfere and break it. Have fun Leodero, this is your end. This is the might of a Deity!" Atticus chuckled with satisfaction,
Leodero's eyes turned pale before it flashed with determination, his eyes turned blue as he released a terrifying aura, which subjugated the will of the Ancient Sun God. This power was similar to the Conquest ability of the Red Priest pathway, but it could only work if the object or creature was terrified of the being. The Ancient Sun God's will was quite feeble at this time, so it had no ability to resist.
Atticus instantly became concerned as he and the remaining two clones rushed towards the weakened God. But that was a big mistake, Leodero used Matter Acceleration to make the clones Beyonder characteristics seep out, effectively turning him into a mundane beings. But this wasn't the end, the core ability of creating clones of the Door Pathway was flinging back and forth to create afterimages which were able to use Beyonder Abilities and be tangible. So Leodero had actually made it so that Atticus lost his Beyonder characteristics.
The clones quietly faded away as Leodero destroyed the isolated space with calamity creation, allowing him to return back to the real world.
"...."
"You're all quite strong but all of you are underestimating me!"
Atticus teleported near The Sun God and delivered a straight knuckle punch, he immediately activated Bribe - Weaken and magnified his effects. Atticus did not allow him to rest as he exploited it so that the Bribe would affect his Beyonder characteristics instead making him lose his throne of Sequence 0.
He was then barraged by lightning as his body turned stiff, he slowly took on the characteristics of a tree, Amanises had helped Lilith recover a minute amount of sanity allowing her to heal Leodero. Atticus roared as he felt his existence being once again erased from existence. But millions of suns started barraging him, the heat made his Beyonder characteristics "betray" him and seep out.
Atticus's eyes turned weary as his brain became muddled, but this was an afterimage. Amanises head snapped back to the Wisdom God only to see his Beyonder characteristics being abolished and sealed. Atticus turned around and "Located" Amanises Beyonder Characteristic without a second to waste, Atticus used Frenzy to and Exploit to make "Her" Beyonder Characteristic go into a state of excitement. This disallowed her from using any of her powers.
Amanises's Beyonder Characteristic soon tried to betray her and try to converge with Badheil, this was the Beyonder Law of Convergence that Atticus had "Exploited" and "Magnified." But just as he was about to rejoice, he felt a warm feeling spreading throughout his chest. Atticus slowly looked down to see his chest being pierced by a dark golden dagger, inlaid with a wide variety of gems but three gems stuck out. One was a White Gem, it released a bright golden, another was a Red Gem which flashed a bright red light and last was a mercury gem that seemed to absorb the light.
This was the Sword of Eradication, it was created by Atticus to combat the Celestial Worthy, he made it with a Sequence 2 Beyonder characteristic of the Sun Pathway, a Sequence 1 characteristic and a Uniqueness of the Red Priest Pathway and finally the Uniqueness of the Fate Pathway which he tainted with the aura of the Key of Light. It's main function was to destroy the Beyonder characteristics of the one struck with it, eradicating them. It erased their Imprints in the Astral and Spirit World while also erasing the Imprints on their Beyonder characteristics. This weapon was also unique in the way that when it was used, the weapon would dissolve with the one struck with it, thus eradicating their Beyonder characteristic from their body, thereby making it so that the weapon could never be used again.
Atticus's eyes widened as "His" eyes turned white as "He" released a blood curdling scream. His body started heating up, Atticus tried to stop the process, success didn't elude him as he was able to stop the process, for a few seconds. His body soon became bathed in white light, time seemed to stop as the world turned black. Instantly a huge blast took place, sounding the traitors even more, the ground was completely charred and destroyed. The stones crumbled under the howling of the wind as the Eastern Continent started becoming destabilized, with the cry of The Door. Atticus's charred corpse fell into one of the crevices in the ground as it travelled deep underground. The traitors were banished from the Eastern Continent as it became sealed from both the Spirit Realm and Astral World. This would come to be known as the Forsaken Land of The God's.
But the Gods didn't have time to rest as each one of them teleported throughout the world through the Spirit World as they tried to search and destroy the Nine Mausoleums built by Atticus to stop "His" Revival.

Somewhere in the Fifth Epoch
In the deep caves present in Backlund, three cloaked men with veils around their head circled a blonde-haired boy crucified on an upside down cross. A small spiral grove was made onto the ground as the ceiling of the cave was cut clearly to the surface allowing for the Blood-Red Moons illumination to reach the deep cavern.
The boy had sandy blonde hair and sea green eyes with a Mediterranean complexion. His face showed a variety of emotions, from fear to sadness to a slight emotionless smile. The men soon started chanting,
"The Magic Emperor that has been Enslaved, Betrayed and Resurrected to This Era." The first of the cloaked men said
"The Emperor of All Doors, Key to The Vast Cosmos, King of Disharmony and Disorder." The second man took over the first man's words smoothly.
"Ruler of Space, Protector of Life and The First Orthodox Deity." As the last of the three men said that, all three of them spoke in an ethereal and eternal voice.
"I pray that You beseech him
I pray that You open the Doors of Your Spirit
I pray that You Descend unto him"
The three men soon stopped circling the boy, as all three of them were in the key places of the boy. The Head, One Hand and the other Hand, they soon took out a black, blue and white knife respectively as the first man chanted
"The Black Knife symbolising Disorder, Death, and The Black Emperor Pathway."
As he stopped chanting, he cut his throat and fell lifelessly onto the floor spewing blood onto the spiral groove, illuminating it.
"The Blue Knife symbolising Exploration, Travel, and the Door Pathway." Just like before the second man cut his throat with the knife and killed himself as his blood too seeped into the spiral, illuminating it more.
"The White Knife symbolising Rebirth, Stability, and "Your" Return." As his blood seeped into the groove, the light completely illuminated the cavern and the light gushed out of the room through the hole lighting the world up.
The light burned through the young boy, as his eyes lost its luster and dimmed, as he slowly closed his eyes. The boy had lost his life, but the blood seeped into him and augmented him with another will, which slowly took over his body similar to parasitization.
"His" lifeless eyes soon snapped open with energy and luster as the process had finally been completed. The light that illuminated the world soon dimmed, as he slowly got up.
"So, I've been revived, quite nice. It feels good to be in control of my body again, during that entire battle I wasn't even in my right state of mind. Such a shame, well I should get out of here before the official Beyonders come or well I think they'll come. I don't know if they listened to my words and revived me in the Fifth Epoch." Atticus muttered softly.
His eyes soon wandered to the bodies that littered the place as he sighed and gave a bow, "Thank you for your service" he muttered under his breath. "I don't have time to clean up the scene and wait for the Beyonder Characteristics to form such a shame, such good Beyonder characteristics are going to waste."
He looked at the sacrifices for a few more moments, before he quietly exited the cavern.
