Chapter 477: Travel and Beyond Travel Chapter Thirty-Three Departure_4

"It's not just that simple." The Empress personally helped Soka put on her clothes, crouching to fasten the clasp at her chest, "It's not just the cold and heat; many diseases and poisons will also be kept at bay by this cloak. I know the path ahead of you is fraught with danger, and there may be terrifying beasts blocking your way. But remember, you are never alone, for you carry the blessings of your friends." She stood up, "The dangers from the environment and nature can be avoided with the help of our Elf Clan, but we are powerless against the fears within your hearts. Those who gaze covetously at the war with evil intentions might use any method to extinguish the flame of hope. Be careful, my friend."

Lynch nodded, yet he shook the Powerful Wand in his hand, the Necroman Magic Pearl at the top emitting a white glow. Then he said, "Not only do we have to be careful, but those with ill intentions should be even more cautious."

"Farewell, my friends." The Empress waved, "Be cautious in how you use the tools in your hands."

Anna used a wooden pole to push the small boat away from the lakeshore, watching as it left clear ripples on the water before disappearing into the morning mist. She said to the Empress, "Why do we part hurriedly every time we meet? One doesn't know how long it will take to meet again."

"Only in peace can one experience eternal gatherings. As for goodbye, I do not know either," the Empress replied. But seeing the surprised and worried looks from the surrounding elves, she smiled and explained, "It's not that we can't meet, but I will no longer use the power of prophecy to pry into the future, so I do not know the answer. No matter what storms lie ahead, the Elf Clan should not choose to escape. Now there is only one way to reach tomorrow: to reach tomorrow itself."

Then, she turned away from Heather's shore, gently beginning to ascend the staircase leading to the Holy Temple.

Of course, all of this went unseen by Lynch and the others sitting in the small boat. The Mage was controlling the direction with the oars. Zilvra, unsure of what to do, could only sort the parcels on the boat to pass the time. Little Soka had a new playmate, and was watching the reflections of her and the little tiger in the water.

"Brother Lynch, look! There's a very beautiful elf waving at us," Soka suddenly said, pointing to the distant lakeshore, "Do you know who she is?"

Lynch focused his gaze in that direction, only able to vaguely see her face in the mist. That face looked familiar, very similar to the absolute beauty he had seen in the Residual Star Swamp, yet it bore many marks of the mortal world. "Maybe I know, maybe I don't," Lynch replied, "Perhaps she's an elf friend."

Zilvra's eyesight wasn't as good as the other two's; she looked for a long time but saw nothing clear. So she could only retract her gaze and said, "Whoever she is, her eyesight is really good. She can see us and even wave greetings."

Lynch furrowed his brow. The Dark Elf, living long in the dark Underworld, if Zilvra with that lineage couldn't see, how could a normal elf have such distant vision? But when he tried to observe that figure again, he could no longer find any trace of her.

"Regardless, she really is very beautiful. And she gives me a familiar feeling." Soka hugged the little tiger, and as if it could understand, said while looking into its eyes, "Little tiger, do you think I might also become that beautiful?"
