Magic Era: The great Dungeon

Chapter 13: Survival

Upon entering, Nim notes that this room was not so different from the ones he had entered before, as he advances he sees a portal in the middle of the room, this portal was not blue like the ones he had seen outside the dungeon, instead it was green.

(I finally found the entrance to the next floor) Nim sighs upon seeing the portal.

The portals to the next floor were in an isolated room, there was more than one entrance to the next floor.

In addition, these places were safe areas, which made many adventurers use this type of room to rest.

Nim decides to take a short break in this place, after finishing eating some cookies and having some water from his canteen Nim gets up.

He had to continue his way in the dungeon, advancing he enters the portal.

...

Swoosh!

Nim cuts another monster again on the 2nd floor, the monster falls to the ground without its head.

This monster was a troll, these types of monsters were not strong for the current Nim either.

The difficulty of the monsters had gone up a bit and some new ones had appeared.

Nim had already been on this floor for thirty minutes and the appearance of the floor was not that different from the previous one.

Even though Nim had killed several monsters without leveling up yet, despite this Nim was not discouraged, he knew that leveling up took time.

As he advanced he continued to find some monsters, which he killed easily.

The only problem Nim found was that over time the edge of his sword would decrease.

He had considered trying to kill without a weapon, in other words only with his fists.

Also because in the classes he had seen there was one that also interested him besides the warrior.

Closing his eyes he observed it again.

[Class: Fighter]

[Requirements]

-Kill 50 monsters without weapons.

-Reach Level 10

[Status]

-Monsters killed 16/50

-Does not meet the level

Nim's physical strength was one of his greatest strengths, relying on this he had been able to subdue some monsters when he was training.

In the end he made a decision and put his sword away.

Moving to another room of the level he saw some goblins along with several trolls, these held some rusty swords, Nim realized that these monsters were perfect to try what he was thinking of doing, he puts his backpack aside and approaches the monsters.

The monsters as usual approach to attack him.

Nim with a quick movement appears behind a goblin, the goblin that was running is abruptly stopped by a great force that comes from one of his arms.

Nim easily lifts the goblin and as if it were a weapon he swings it against the other monsters.

Thump!

The monsters receiving the strong blow are thrown back several meters and have their bones broken.

The goblin that had been used as a weapon was in worse condition since its organs had been destroyed by the strong blow.

The latter was giving large mouthfuls of blood while convulsing, a few moments later it remains still and dies.

Nim seeing this releases the corpse of the goblin and chases the remaining dying monsters.

A monster that was less injured tries to get up only to be greeted by the cold gaze of Nim.

Without giving the monster time to get up, Nim grabs one of its legs and shakes it strongly against the ground.

Boom!

The body of the goblin is destroyed while blood splashes around.

Nim seeing such a scene smiles slightly. Releasing the corpse of the monster begins to hunt the remaining monsters.

Thump! thump!

The bodies of the monsters are destroyed by the physical force of Nim.

One had his head smashed by a blow from Nim and another was thrown like a ball into a wall and died brutally.

After a few moments Nim stops when he doesn't see any living monsters.

When he comes to, he looks at his hands that were covered in blood along with his clothes.

Nim sighs and approaches his backpack, searching in it he takes out a cloth to clean himself and a new set of clothes.

Now Nim with another outfit looks at the scene of broken bodies, he knew he exaggerated again.

Nim was already used to feeling these impulses but sometimes they still surprised him.

Without giving it any more thought he resumes his search for the portal to the next floor.

...

Nim hadn't stopped after more than four hours, in this time he had continued killing monsters, sometimes throwing the monster with force and other times using his sword.

After cutting a slime Nim stops.

He had decided to take a little break before continuing.

It seemed like he had underestimated the size of each floor, without a map it was difficult for him to find his way to the next floor.

Although the monsters were not strong and his own body had more resistance than others, he still felt hungry and somewhat fatigued.

After resting for several minutes and eating something he got up again.

Moving through the dungeon he continued killing monsters and looking for the portal.

Nim had cut another spider when he feels a refreshing feeling, along with that feeling he feels his fatigue decrease and his strength grow.

(Did I level up?)

Nim closes his eyes and sees his level, confirming that his level went up his mood improves and he continues to advance.

After an hour of leveling up Nim finds the door to the next floor.

Nim lets out a long sigh and enters, this time he did not go directly to the portal, he had decided to take a nap in this place to replenish his energy.

After a few hours of sleeping on this hard floor, Nim wakes up, stretching a little and eating his rations he resumes his journey.

....

The third floor was different from the previous two floors, on this floor there were vines on the walls along with some plants.

And there were luminous mushrooms in the corners that glowed with a mysterious glow.

There were also new monsters. One of those were the wolves, these wolves were not like the ones in the forests.

Instead, they were larger in size along with sharper fangs and claws.

The next monster he had also seen were the kobolds he had fought in the test.

Nim smiled at seeing these new monsters, as he knew that these monsters would be stronger than those from the previous floors and as a result would give more experience.

..

grrw! grrw!

Nim found himself in the middle of three wolves, these wolves that had trapped him were preparing to attack him.

The first wolf to attack jumps wanting to bite Nim's neck.

While the first wolf attacks, his other companions choose to attack other points of Nim's body.

One aims at his back and another at one of his legs.

Nim, who had remained still as if waiting for something, suddenly raises his hand when the first wolf is about to bite him.

The wolf that was very close with its fangs open can't avoid Nim's hand.

The wolf suddenly feels a hand enter its open mouth and grab the lower part of its fangs, feeling the hand he tries to bite it hard only to not be able to close his mouth.

Since he feels another hand grabbing his upper fangs.

Nim who had the wolf suspended by his fangs forcefully opens the wolf's mouth.

Kragg!

The wolf is split in two from its mouth to the bottom while blood splashes around it.

The other wolves seeing their companion suddenly die stop for a moment and then roaring in anger they pounce on Nim again.

Nim chooses a wolf and runs towards it, the wolf uses its claws to cut it only to cut the air without hitting.

Nim who had appeared at the side of the wolf strikes its neck.

Crack!

The wolf having its neck broken collapses on the ground dead.

Nim turns to look at the last wolf, the wolf seeing his two companions killed by this human roars louder and attacks Nim again.

Nim takes out his sword and gives a quick kill to the last wolf.

After all this Nim looks at the sword he just used, he realized that this sword had already lost its edge.

It was not surprising since he had used it almost without rest. Nim drops the sword and takes out another one, then looks at the corpses of this group of wolves.

( A group eh..)

Nim had seen the teamwork of these wolves.

He would have liked to enter the dungeon with a group.

Unfortunately no one wanted to accept him because of his level. And those of his same level could not keep up with him.

It seems that for now he would have to wander alone.

Nim continues advancing and when he wants to go around a corner he hears a slight sound of battle.

Nim stops and looks in the opposite direction from where he was planning to go. (Someone should be fighting)

Nim hesitates if he should approach the place.

After standing still in place for a few seconds he finally makes a decision, taking the opposite direction he heads towards the battle site.
