Magus Supremacy

Chapter 444: The Promise From a Supreme Yun Warrior!

BOOM!

The entire canteen reverberated as a solid punch from Mada landed squarely on Grey's face with so much strength that a massive boom echoed through the hall, sending a gust of air flaring outward and clattering the plates and utensils on the tables of other students eating nearby.

'What is this fool trying to do now? Even without getting close, I can feel the sheer amount of strength radiating from him. He is stronger than Grey currently unless he can use his magic.

So what is he trying to do?' Thalos thought, casually pulling out his dagger while spinning it between his fingers, his eyes locked on the fight.

'Oh well! He chose this fight, so he has to endure it himself. I am not going to interfere.'

"Kek! Big mistake." Grey smirked as he planted his feet firmly despite the punch. Blood sprayed from his nose and mouth, but he had not budged an inch. A grin was plastered on his face as he glared at the descendant.

'Solid as a rock for defense,' Grey thought as he clenched his hands tightly around Mada's arm, frowning as he held on with all his strength.

'As fluid and flexible as water or air for an attack!' he roared inwardly. He leapt up, spun on Mada's hand, and swung his leg toward the descendant's face with blinding speed and force, producing a sharp, metallic bang.

"Too slow!" Mada commented calmly, raising his hand in front of his face and blocking the kick without flinching. In one fluid motion, he thrust his head forward, headbutting Grey with a force so violent that Grey's body was sent crashing into several tables.

Clash, Clatter, Clash!

The blue band tables shattered into pieces, their food and plates scattering across the floor. Students scrambled away from the chaos, screaming and tripping over one another as Grey's body skidded to a final halt.

BANG!

Mada dashed forward with a deafening impact, appearing right in front of Grey just as he struggled to rise. A knee slammed into Grey's face, snapping his head back violently. He tumbled across the floor multiple times before skidding to a stop.

'Shit! This is bad. Even as a stage 2 warrior, isn't there something I can do to save myself? Will I really lose? Do I have to use magic? But how? I don't know how… I don't remember!' Grey screamed internally, his fists clenching in frustration as he heard Mada approaching.

"You see the difference between us?" Mada asked, standing a metre away, his eyes sweeping over the yellow and blue band students. "Do you all see the difference between us? In this world, we are more important than you.

No one cares about a bunch of commoners. No one wants to see your ugly, poverty-stricken faces! All the world needs is us! We are the hope of this continent. The final and apex of the Vayun continent.

We are your leaders. We are the ones who will take charge of the faction and lead you all to a better future. So whatever we say, you will do."

Mada turned abruptly, grabbing Grey by the hair and lifting his bloodied face. "You will obey us, lower your eyes when we speak, cower beneath our feet, and tremble before our presence, because without us, there would be no you. Got that, peasants?" His fist smashed into Grey's face again, sending blood flying.

"Wrong." Grey growled back, his eyes brimming with rage. "Humans are all born equal. No one is greater than another! Just because you are better off, just because you are stronger, it does not give you the right to bully the weak.

Why are you so strong? Why do you train so hard? Isn't it to protect the faction? To protect yourself? Then why can't you use that power to defend those weaker than you instead of tormenting them?! You are sick in the head! Change your mindset and see if this faction doesn't become a better place!"

"Huh? Kek! Kek! Kek!" Mada chuckled loudly, still gripping Grey's hair. His laughter spread to Rivock, Noelle, and the other red bands, the sound echoing through the canteen like a wave of dominance and mockery.

"Dude thinks we are in the Umbrafell faction. This place is not some damned righteous temple where everyone is treated equally. You are strong, you rule. You are weak, you are useless.

Do you think you can protect anyone in your current state? No! You are weak, trashy, and worthless to the faction!" Mada growled in anger, landing another solid punch into Grey's gut. Grey coughed violently, spitting out blood as the impact reverberated through his body.

Ray and Finral clenched their fists, their knuckles turning white as they prepared to move forward, but Grey's piercing gaze stopped them instantly.

"That's where you are wrong. Both the poor and the rich, the strong and the weak, can all live in harmony if you rid yourselves of your damned ego and arrogance! And that is exactly what I plan to do," Grey said, his voice calm yet brimming with controlled fury. He gripped Mada's hands, which were still clenched around his hair, and with a swift motion, Ki swirled in his arms.

In one fluid movement, he yanked Mada's hands away from his hair and launched a powerful kick upward, landing like an uppercut that sent Mada skidding backward, gasping in pain.

"I didn't care before, but now I am making this promise. I will grow stronger, so strong that I will become the leader of the Aetherian faction and eradicate this discrimination.

I will ensure I wipe the floor with your faces while humiliating you publicly. That is the future of the Supreme Yun warrior!" Grey declared, standing firm. His hands clenched tightly, teeth grinding as his fury radiated outward.

SILENCE.

"Kek! Kek! Kehahaha!" Mada chuckled, his shoulders shaking with each laugh until it erupted into loud, echoing laughter, filling the canteen with a sense of tense anticipation. Then he calmed, his expression darkening.

"Become the leader of the Aetherian faction? Really? Kek! How delusional can you be?!" Mada roared, a soft yellow energy beginning to swirl visibly around his fists, his eyes glowing with hints of a strange, dangerous power.

"Firstly, try to defeat me!" The descendant shouted, bolting toward Grey so fast that his movements blurred into a streak of yellow light.

"Curse you!" Grey growled in response, bolts of lightning crackling along his arms, sparks dancing around his eyes as he locked onto the blur charging at him.

"Just die!" Mada cried, leaping into the air with a forceful jump. The ground beneath him cracked violently, chunks of stone exploding outward as he descended at Grey with terrifying speed.

"You…you won't hit me again!" Grey shouted, his own lightning intensifying, energy radiating from his hands and eyes. He prepared to block the kick and counterattack, muscles tensed and ready, when…

"I thought we made it clear that the canteen was not a place for fights."

A calm, authoritative voice echoed through the hall.

BANG!

A deafening shockwave slammed into Mada midair, throwing him violently into the canteen wall. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he crashed to the floor, groaning from the impact.

At the same moment, Grey felt a sudden force behind him. Someone's hand struck his neck in a precise karate chop, causing the lightning around his hands and eyes to vanish instantly. His body went limp, collapsing to the ground with a loud, reverberating thud.

The canteen fell silent, the students frozen, watching the scene unfold.
