Once I got home I went straight to my room few minutes later, Lucy knocked on my door. "Miss Jasmine would you like to eat anything".I opened the door a little and told her I wasn't hungry I also told her not to tell my parents about anything I do because I knew they'd want to find out through Lucy. She assured me that she won't become a spy for them with that she left and I closed the door and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

I finished got dressed in my night wear, sat at my work table to draw more designs since I didn't have enough time left for the meeting but before that Idecided to call Anne and tell her about my day. "Hey Anne" I said when she pick my call. "Girl aren't you gonna sleep, aren't always yapping about early to bed early to rise " She said "Wait, Madam I have some work that needs to be completed so I can't sleep just yet".okay, okay Jass how was your day" Anne asked. "So that's the whole reason I called you, I went to work today and just got bombarded with work. I have to make some really mind blowing designs before Friday and I just can't get any good ideas or drawing".I said felling annoyed with myself. " Okay so that's sad , have you tried some of your idea generating methods".No I haven't I don't even have time to try them, By the way guess who I almost knocked down today ".I said. " Jass you almost knocked someone down today! How could you ".See Anne I was so deep in thoughts of how to get ideas for my designs fast that I didn't see him coming". I tried to defend myself.

" Him"so now I know you met a guy hmm, I can't guess Jass tell me "Anne said grinning. " Okay so it was Jude the guy I told you gave me a ride home on the night of that party".oh the delivery guy right " Anne asked. "Yh that's him, but Anne that guy is a bit weird he's not like that other boys who instantly fall on love with me. In fact he acts cold to me and it's so annoying".I complained" I guess he's not like the others".Anne said with some kind of tease in her voice. "But you know what Anne I'm going to call him the day he gave me the lift I asked him for his number he hesitated but you know me I ended up making him give it away me". "Your art of persuasion can never be underrated at all".Anne said. " But what are you going to talk to him about "she asked. " I don't know anything that comes to mind ".I replied shrugging my shoulders. " Okay Anne am going to call him now so bye".I said to Anne she replied with a good night and ended the call.

I looked for his number, found it and called. It rang for the first time he didn't pick so I knew I had to be persistent if I wanted him to pick up. I don't know why I just wanted to get to know him better. I called his number for like ten times but he still didn't pick up. I was about to give up after the last call when he picked up. "Hey there Jude" I said trying to sound happy. I didn't reply. So I lost my cool and said "See, I don't know who you think you are to be showing me this attitude, I just called to say hello and probably start a friendship with you but it seems you have to much ego to befriend someone".This time he laughed and then said " Who told you I said I needed a friend, I told you earlier the fact that I gave you a lift didn't mean we're friends so cut the act or maybe you like me". He said and I could hear the mockery I his voice."Oh so that's what you think of he huh, What you've just said has made me realize that you do not know me but that's not a problem since it won't be long until you call me and try to get on my good side".I said and ended the call.
