"hahaha, the Heavens favor my High Heaven Pavilion, Hahaha", Elder Su Xuan Wu was laughing, his head held high. The other elders of High Heaven Pavilion had the same excited expressions.

The reason of their joy was the news brought by the desciples from inside the Inheritance Cave.

It has been 25 days since the Inheritance Cave had surfaced.

Since the first day, the elders of each sect have stayed here, not letting anyone present at the scene to leave till now. Preventing any news of the inheritance cave from spreading.

Since the day of opening — when the desciples had entered the secret realm —the elders hadn't noticed any sign of reaction from the Inheritance Cave.

That was until today—

At the dawn of this day, a slight wave rippled from the inheritance cave. This peeked the attention of everyone present — the elders of the three factions.

But when the elders saw the next scene, they were shocked senseless, their hearts gripping fear and panic.

Why?

Because what they found at the enterance was just a small group of desciples — no more than 15 in total — which gave the elders a very bad feeling.

'what had happened in the cave!? Why are these the only desciples who came back!?'

Thai was the collective question each of them were screaming in their heads, their eyes wide and mouth open in shock and fear.

This was only natural because the desciples who had stepped out of the inheritance cave just now were one of the — if not the — lowest and weakest of desciples who had entered the inheritance cave, most of whom were at Initial Element Realm with the exception of two, who were at Qi Transformation Realm.

Just when the elders were panicking to their cores, the desciples who had just stepped out, recovered from the headache, caused by the space transmission and recounted what had transpired in the inheritance cave — to their respective elders.

Every piece of news made the elders surprised. Each mention of treasure made their hearts burn with yearning. Each set of achievement recounted by the desciples made them proud and envious.

But, the eyes and mouths of the elders — of each faction — turned wide with shock and disbelief, when the desciples reached the point of Tier 5 monster beasts, how the desciples had killed 8 of such monsters by themselves.

But the greatest of shock came when they heard of Wang Feng and Yang Kai's achievement.

In the recounting of that battle, although the desciples had told the elders how each and every desciple of High Heaven Pavilion was fighting the beast. The Qi Transformation Realm desciples — one of whom was from High Heaven Pavilion — knew better. He explained how the Tier 5 Tortoise wasn't damaged much by the attacks.of anyone below Separation and Reunion Realm.

This further raised the evaluation of Wang Feng and Yang Kai's capabilities in the elder's mind.

After all, what was the concept of two Qi Transformation Realm desciples — each using a single punch — to kill a Tier 5 monster beast — one that should be one of the best in defensive capability!

The elders were more experienced than the desciples and knew that the two must have used a high grade technique to achieve that result. Otherwise, the result described by these desciples could not have been achieved.

The possibility of such a high grade technique — possibly a Mysterious Grade Technique, according to them — made their eyes shine, even the elders of High Heaven Pavilion were a bit affected for a moment, before they remembered who was behind those two and erased even the traces of those thoughts.

After that, the desciples described how the final inheritance manifested, along with how it worked — thought only one of the desciple was able to share this because — of this group — only he had made it past 500 stairs.

They also mentioned how it has been more or less 20 days since everyone was ejected from the Golden Staircase, all except Wang Feng and Su Yan.

Making it obvious that either Su Yan or Wang Feng probably had the inheritance.

This piece of information is what made Su Xuan Wu laugh out.

Since that day, more and more desciples stepped out of the secret realm. With the increase in numbers, the various angles and PoVs of what had transpired in the secret realm spread throughout the three factions.

A few things remained common in every single story; which mostly revolved around the chief desciples of the factions, Wang Feng and Yang Kai.

But news wasn't the only thing that exited the secret realm...

In just a few days, many lucky desciples had started exchanging or selling herbs, ores, materials and such, all of which they had found in the inheritance cave — but not finding the objects to their liking nor compatibility, they chose to exchange them for what they needed.

This caused an abundance of Earth Grade treasures to appear, along with a great amount of Heaven Grade Treasures — causing a great stir in the market of the three sects.....

"That brat. Looks like he profited immensely in this inheritance cave...", Meng Wu Ya muttered to himself with a smile, his eyes glazing over as he remembered the first time he had met the Wang Feng — compared to what he had seen and was hearing right now.

Xia Ning Chang sat on a trunk of a tree, looking towards the inheritance cave, "Brother Feng...", she mumbled, suddenly blushing as she remembered something...

Today counted the 35th days since the appearance of the secret realm. Until now, nearly every desciple — except for those who were at the top of the pyramid; the top 5 of each sect — had exited the secret realm.

The surroundings of the inheritance cave enterance has turned into a bustling, but controlled market. Just as the day was going as usual...

A vibration spread out from the space of the Inheritance's Cave, making everyone stop, getting attracted by the sound.

Suddenly, a wave of energy bursted out before the space tear inside the trench— the enterance of the secret realm —suddenly collapsed.

Seeing this made everyone present exclaim with wide eyes. The three factions each had an elder stationed here to receive their core desciples, upon their exit.

When these elders saw this, their hearts jumped into their throat as they flew towards the trench and used their divine sense to find their prized desciples.

"Spread out and search for desciple Hu Jiao'er—"

"Spread out and search for desciples—"

"Spread out—"

The three elders shouted out to their desciples, ordering them to spread and look for the missing desciples.

Just then, a figure suddenly appeared in the center of the field, this was one of the top 5 desciples Storm Manor.

As soon as he appeared, the elders froze before they suddenly flew towards him, pushing him for answers. The desciple looked disoriented because of the transmission, but he still replied, "..I don't know... I was trying to find a treasure..but I suddenly felt a pull and... Appeared here..."

Hearing this eased the worry of the elders, since this happened to this desciple, it means that the other desciples likely experienced something same. Knowing that their desciples were very likely still alive, they immediately started looking around.

Within a few moments, many desciples were found — except for Yang Kai, Hu Jiao'er, Hu Mie'er, Wang Feng and Su Yan.

But no one was worried by now, since they now knew that the five would naturally appear.

Wang Feng and Su Yan suddenly appeared within the forest near High Heaven Pavilion. They both groaned from headache, but recovered within a moment.

The two calmed down and looked around themselves. "Hmm, we're near the sect.", Su Yan said as she observed the surroundings.

Wang Feng nodded and sighed while clasping her hand, "it's good that the secret realm sent the last ones out randomly, otherwise, both of us might have been swarmed."

Su Yan nodded. The two then started walking towards the sect while holding hands and talking between themselves.

Just outside the back mountain of the sect, the two stopped.

"Feng'er, I need to go see my Grandfather and Brother.", Su Yan said while caressing his face. Wang Feng nodded and pecked her lips and let go of her hand, "Hmm. You should. You can come find me later at the Coiling Dragon Stream."

Su Yan's face revealed a light blush and a smile as she hummed lightly and flew away.

Wang Feng chuckled at her behavior before he started walking again, moving towards the Treasurer Hall.

He walked normally till he entered the sect, after which, he used his movement technique to move like a ghost through the night.

In just a few moments, he was outside the treasurer's hall. Looking at the silent building, Wang Feng smiled as he pushed open the door and walked inside.

In the hall, Meng Wu Ya sat on his chair, with Xia Ning Chang sitting next to him.

As soon as he pushed open the door, Xia Ning Chang's big eyes started shining as she smiled at him through her veil.

Wang Feng passed her a smile and looked at Meng Wu Ya — who was looking at him.

"So, you finally came ou— huh?"

Meng Wu Ya was about to say something, but stopped mid way. His face turned into a stunned stupid expression as he raised his trembling finger at him.

"Yo—you brat, in what realm are you!?", he shouted as he sprang up and looked at him with a strange face.

Wang Feng smirked — noticing Xia Ning Chang's surprised gasp — and spoke nonchalantly, "oh that, it's nothing. I was just fortunate enough to reach 4th Stage Foundation Realm.", he shook his head,as if disappointed, "sigh, it's just that I'm not talented enough... Sigh"

Hearing his words, Meng Wu Ya's face twitched with restrained anger. "You brat...", he spoke ominously as he cracked his hands. "Who are you boasting in front of!?", he shouted as he leaped forward with his palms slapping down at Wang Feng's neck.

"Ahhh. You damn old ma— ahhh... Stop it.", Wang Feng shouted as he started sprinting around while dodging Meng Wu Ya's strike.

Meng Wu Ya vented his anger after a few strikes, making Wang Feng groan — all the while Xia Ning Chang giggled and looked at two with a fond smile.

After the 'discipling', as Meng Wu Ya called it, Wang Feng sat with Xia Ning Chang and talked for a minute with Meng Wu Ya, through which he told him about his decision to leave the sect for sometime, after a short break.

He also took the time to give away all the low grade pills he had refined to exchange for herbs that he would need — though, he didn't find a lot of them, he still found quite a few because of the current market.

Saying his goodbye to Meng Wu Ya, Wang Feng dragged Xia Ning Chang away with him — who was more than happy to follow.

The two sprinted through the sect grounds — because Wang Feng didn't want to be interrupted by anyone for now — and reached the forest near the Coiling Dragon Stream.

The two finally slowed down and started walking slowly, hand in hand. Xia Ning Chang then told him about her experience in the last month — which mostly revolved around cultivation and alchemy. It was also through this time that Wang Feng discovered Xia Ning Chang's realm.

She had reached 9th Stage Soul Refining Realm!

Wang Feng wasn't much surprised by this. He knew that with Xia Ning Chang's character and stronghold, alchemy, she had a naturally strong perception and spiritual energy, so cultivating in the Soul Refining Realm was pretty much a walk in the park for her.

Wang Feng also started telling her about his journey.

Xia Ning Chang listened quietly while holding his arm. Wang Feng didn't hide much. The things he didn't tell her were — the encounters with Nether Ghost Disaster Bat, the random information that keeps appearing in his mind and the talk with the Dragon Emperor and Phoenix Empress.

He stopped for a few minutes before he reached the point where he told Su Yan about the inheritance, feeling a little worried and a bit scared to tell her this.

But, he eventually did tell her when they reached his cabin next to the Coiling Dragon Stream. Wang Feng watched nervously, gauging her expressions, since she had taken her veil off.

She remained silent for a few seconds, making Wang Feng nervously shift his feet, before she let out a breath and just hugged him, burying her head in his chest.

Wang Feng held her, hesitating to speak. "Your not upset... right?", he asked in a low voice, pressing his temple against the top of her head.

Xia Ning Chang made a small sound at his words, punching his chest lightly, "no..no.. it's... it's just...", she spoke in a soft voice, making Wang Feng's heart ache.

He raised one of his hands, lifting her head to make her face him. He saw her big eyes looking at him with something akin to disappointment, jealousy and understanding, which left him slightly confused.

"Tell me honestly, Chang'er", he asked while looking into her eyes.

She hesitated before she sighed and spoke, "of c..course I am a bit upset... But... It already happened...", she just tightened her hug, looking down again, her voice too low, as if muttering to herself, "I was the first one.."

Wang Feng was surprised again, before he sighed in relief and hugged her tenderly. He lifted her head and kissed her softly, "I'm sorry to upset you... For that, you can punish me however you want. It's just.... I wanted to take things slow with you... Since I thought you weren't ready..."

Xia Ning Chang grip softened as she melted into the kiss. She sighed and rested her head against his chest with a pout, "I know...", they stayed like that for a few minutes, just hugging each other before they sat down and Wang Feng gave her a few herbs he had collected in the secret realm, along with telling her much about alchemy methods that he knew from the Alchemy Inheritance.

Two hours unknowingly passed during their talk. It wasn't until they heard a knock on the door as it opened that they were broken out of their discussion.

Wang Feng smiled as he looked at the figure that had opened the door. "Yan'er. Come inside.", Su Yan smiled as well, her icy facade breaking as she stepped inside. She looked towards Xia Ning Chang, her smile remaining the same.

"How are you, Junior Sister Xia?", she asked in a soft voice. Xia Ning Chang broke out of her surprise and sprang up, looking at Su Yan with her big eyes and smiled, "I'm fine, Sister Su.."

Their eyes shining as they looked at each other, as if communicating something.

If not for Wang Feng's ability to sense Su Yan's emotions, he would have thought the two were having a spiritual battle against each other.

Wang Feng looked between the two, slightly surprised at the normal greeting before he sighed and spoke, "alright, you two. Let's sit down first."

The two nodded and sat down next to him. Wang Feng took a deep breath before he started speaking about his plan for the next few months. Su Yan already knew about it in detail, so she chipped in when Wang Feng forgot something, letting Xia Ning Chang know about his complete plan.

After talking about all that, he waved his hand to spread out his Array Flags and poured a great amount of his Qi into them, activating the ingrained isolating array.

The two looked at this with surprised look, but they didn't ask.

Wang Feng waved his hand, this time onto the bed and to the side of the bed, materializing a few things.

The first were ten jade bottles, each containing 10 pills. These bottles were Qi Essence Pills. Six bottles were Heaven Grade Pills, while the other Four were Mysterious Grade Pills.

The second were again two jade bottle, each holding three Body Nurturing Pills, pills custom made to cultivate the True Body Realm.

Then came two large piles of Spirit Stones. Each pile consisting of more than a thousand Spirit Stones.

The fourth was a single doll like thing, which appeared in front of Xia Ning Chang. This was the last Star Diagram that Wang Feng had gained in the inheritance secret realm.

Then, came a chilling cold as a large cold jade bed appeared on the side. This was the Pure Yin Jade that had been with Wang Feng for a long time. He hadn't used it... and now, it wasn't of much use to him.

At last came a dagger and a sword, both were Mid Earth Grade weapons Wang Feng had refined during the last 25 days.

The sword had 1.2 meter of length and was made from Frost Mercury combined with Moon Jade Steel, utilizing the core of a Tier 4 Ice type Monster Beast, the same Monster Beast Su Yan had killed when she found Ice Water Essence.

The dagger was short, around 7-8 inches long. But it was connected with long chain, allowing the daggers to be used as a whip. The dagger was made with by combining a few precious metals, such as Moon stone, Shadow Vein and Dark Gold Yin Ore. While the chains were made from Wood Bark Steel, combined with the skin of the Tier 5 Snake Monster Beast.

Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang were stunned silent after seeing these things. Su Yan recoved a second before Xia Ning Chang and was able to determine the value of nearly all of these things, courtesy of the wealth in her Phoenix Empress space ring.

But they were again stunned when they heard Wang Feng's words, "these things are yours—"
