Chapter 226: Chapter 226: The Calm Fury

The person who suddenly appeared and had the ability to resolve the situation was, of course, Han Yu.

He held an energy sphere in his left hand while raising his right hand toward the light pillar. In no time, he compressed the light pillar into an energy sphere the size of his right hand.

"Boss, are you okay?"

Ultron and the others flashed over, stunned by the scene before them.

The isolated island that once housed S.H.I.E.L.D. was now completely barren—not a single blade of grass remained. All that was left was a massive cylindrical crater, so deep its bottom couldn't be seen, exuding an overwhelming sense of terror.

Ultron and the others glanced cautiously at Han Yu. Even Galacta didn't dare to breathe loudly, all of them watching him with utmost care.

Staring into the bottomless pit, Han Yu's expression remained eerily calm—no anger, no smile, not even the slightest hint of emotion.

They had never seen Han Yu angry before, nor had they seen him this expressionless.

Faced with such devastation, his terrifying composure was more unsettling than any outburst could've been.

Ultron and the others thought that if Han Yu had gone mad, shouting or raging, it would've seemed more normal. But this calmness sent a chilling sense of dread through them.

"If I had handed these two corpses over to S.H.I.E.L.D. or our Green Lantern Corps, they wouldn't have detected the presence of the Cosmic Heart's energy. We might not have noticed it ourselves until it was too late and had already affected us," Han Yu said softly.

Though his voice was calm, it felt as if an immense mountain was pressing down on their chests, making it hard to breathe.

"This level of energy is enough to destroy our entire solar system."

Han Yu dropped another bombshell—energy powerful enough to annihilate the solar system!

Because he had used an enormous amount of Green Lantern energy to perfectly contain the Cosmic Heart's power, Ultron and the others hadn't sensed just how terrifyingly strong it was.

Only after hearing Han Yu's words did fear begin to creep in.

Would Han Yu lie about something like this just to scare them? Absolutely not. He had no reason to.

This meant he was telling the truth. If that energy had been unleashed, only Galacta and Han Yu would've survived.

Even Ultron, the strongest among Wanda, Ultron, and Quicksilver in terms of overall abilities, would've perished under such energy.

Not a sliver of hope for survival.

Han Yu lifted his gaze to the sky, his pitch-black eyes gleaming with a cold, terrifying light. It felt as though his eyes met Thanos's across the vastness of space, their gazes clashing from worlds apart.

This was Thanos officially declaring war on Earth—or more precisely, on Han Yu.

Exhale.

Han Yu let out a long breath and spoke softly, "It seems the great battle is near. In the meantime, I want you all to spread out. If you notice anything unusual, deal with it immediately and report back to me."

These words were directed at the original trio from the general store. Although Galacta wasn't technically included, she nodded in agreement as well.

Wanda called the Ancient One to report what had happened here but didn't return to the Sanctum Sanctorum. From the start, she had seen the Sanctum as a place to strengthen her powers, not as a stepping stone to becoming the Sorcerer Supreme.

If she wanted to leave the Sanctum, she could do so at any time, and the Ancient One wouldn't object. If anything, she'd likely try to persuade her to stay.

After all, having Wanda as the Sorcerer Supreme would be the best choice.

She also showcased her talent in magic, managing to thoroughly study an advanced magic book within just ten days to half a month. This had little to do with her Chaos Magic; it was entirely due to Wanda's own natural aptitude.

Over the phone, the Ancient One's voice came through, "Is there anything you need my help with?"

Wanda glanced at Han Yu before replying, "Yes. Lead the sorcerers from the Sanctums to set up protective wards, just in case the enemy attempts an energy core strike from outer space."

Her words pleased Han Yu—it was exactly what he had intended to say.

Wanda was no longer the naive girl she once was. During her time at the Sanctum Sanctorum, she had learned a great deal.

The Ancient One's voice of agreement came from the other end before the call disconnected.

In the days that followed, groups of mysterious, hooded individuals appeared across the globe, moving in threes or fives. Some people found them suspicious, but investigations always ended in frustration, as these individuals carried orders at the national level.

Occasionally, brief flashes of light could be seen flickering from their hands, vanishing as quickly as they appeared, leaving observers to doubt their own eyes.

"Inform Steve about what happened here. Let them handle it."

Staring at the massive crater, Han Yu's expression was more serious than ever. An entire S.H.I.E.L.D. base had been wiped out in an instant. Although much of the data could be recovered online, those people were gone—most of them never even knew what had hit them.

A surge of fury burned within Han Yu's heart, yet his face grew increasingly calm—so calm that even he found it unnerving.

This was the effect of the Immortal God Seal within him. Its immense mental strength wasn't just for offense; it also granted absolute composure.

Even in the depths of rage, Han Yu could suppress his fury, allowing it to burn within without spilling over.

This balance allowed him to devise countless ways to exact revenge while maintaining a clear mind.

It's not the angry person who's terrifying—it's the one who can control their rage even at its peak.

Ultron immediately contacted Captain America. Steve, along with Falcon and the Winter Soldier, had already caught wind of the incident through the newly established intel network and rushed over without delay.

When Steve saw the enormous crater, his face shifted from stunned disbelief to seething anger, his expression heavy with grief and determination.

While Ultron's group and Steve's team began handling the situation, Han Yu remained alone, suspended in midair.

He took out his phone and dialed Stark's number. With the looming threat of war, he needed to check on the progress of the battle suits.

"Hm, no answer?"

Han Yu frowned slightly. He tried calling again, but there was still no response. It wasn't until the third attempt that the call finally connected—only it wasn't Stark's voice on the other end. It was J.A.R.V.I.S.

Hearing J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice, Han Yu was a bit puzzled. He asked, "J.A.R.V.I.S., why are you answering? Where's Stark?"

"Mr. Han, Mr. Stark has been working in his lab for several days. To avoid any external distractions, he cut off all communication channels over two weeks ago," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied.

"He's really going all out, huh."

Han Yu murmured to himself. More than half a month without any contact with the outside world—that's how seriously Stark was immersed in perfecting the battle suits.
