"Wrong answer!"

As Mike shouted, he slammed Eve hard into the ground.

Boom!

The ground trembled as half of Eve's body was smashed into it.

Mike's eyes lit up. Just as he was about to shoot two heat rays at Eve's head, his expression shifted. He suddenly grabbed her and hurled her away.

Whoosh!

Eve turned into a black streak, hurtling toward an approaching figure.

Cook's expression changed. Instead of catching Eve, he quickly dodged and raised his hand defensively.

Boom!

His arm trembled violently. With a roar, Cook grabbed Mike's arm, spun around in place, and flung him into the air.

Just then, another figure appeared, slamming their clenched fists accurately into Mike's back.

Whoosh!

Mike, accompanied by a shrill sound, crashed into the ground.

In an instant, a large crater appeared.

A moment later, Mike's figure flickered and vanished from the pit. As several heat rays flooded the crater, he suddenly reappeared behind Cook. One long leg shot straight up like a battle axe and came crashing down on Cook's head, slamming him into the ground.

Boom!

Cook plunged into the earth like a bunker-busting missile.

Mike's eyes glinted as he looked at the three Kryptonians surrounding him.

Heh, they must really think highly of him, sending three people to gang up on him.

But aside from these three…

Mike quickly scanned the battlefield and spotted four more Kryptonians.

One was attacking Erik. Two others had split off to target the X-Men and the Avengers. And another was heading straight toward him.

So… four in total?

They really were giving him a lot of credit.

Mike couldn't help but mutter again, his face growing grim.

He was just a… well, just a small-time restaurant owner now. Why did he have to deal with something this terrifying?

These weren't just four random thugs—these were four Kryptonians. Each of them could probably flatten multiple Steves…

"Are you from the El family?"

Cook climbed out of the ground and asked coldly.

"No!"

Eve wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and glared at Mike, answering on his behalf.

"But he's clearly wearing our combat suit, and his power is the same as ours..."

Cook said, confused, then joined Eve and the other two in surrounding Mike.

"Now, give us your answer!"

"Are you, or are you not, one of us?"

Mike tilted his head and said, "Sorry to disappoint you."

"In that case…"

Cook's eyes turned cold. "Die!"

As soon as the words fell, the four of them simultaneously charged toward Mike.

In an instant, buildings collapsed, beams of light flashed, the ground split apart, and clouds of dust filled the air…

The battlefield between the five of them looked like the arrival of doomsday.

"What are you looking at?"

A petite woman asked curiously, her sweet voice making Ororo's heart turn cold.

Another one…

Just how many of these monsters were there?

"Magneto, be careful!"

Ororo shouted, her ice-blue eyes locking onto the woman.

Though the woman wore a sweet smile, the killing intent in her eyes was as sharp as an ice blade, sending a chill down Ororo's neck.

Whoosh!

The petite Kryptonian woman suddenly appeared in front of Ororo.

Just as Ororo thought she was done for, Erik's voice rang out.

"Child! Run!"

Ororo turned her head and saw Erik using his powers to restrain the Kryptonian woman's armor, saving her.

Ororo glanced at Erik…

He glared at her and snapped, "F**k! Get the hell out of here!"

Then he pushed her away with his other hand, and the metal on her body carried her toward the ground.

A second later, the petite Kryptonian woman broke free of the restraints. She glanced at Erik with appreciation and said, "Very gentlemanly. My name is Renée."

Licking her lips, she smiled under Erik's cold gaze and added,

"So, don't resist. Be a gentleman and let me kill you, okay?"

"I really hate trouble, you know."

Erik took a deep breath. His face briefly showed disgust before he chuckled darkly.

"Sorry, you're not my type."

"If you want to kill me, try it!"

As he spoke, several large metal spheres floating in the air exploded under his control, shattering into chunks of metal that flowed like a river, encasing him protectively.

Renée smiled and charged into the river of metal.

Instantly, the entire flow of metal began to boil.

At the same time, the other two Kryptonians also rushed toward the X-Men and the Avengers.

Flying high above, Tony had already raised his guard after Mike's warning.

Suddenly, JARVIS issued a piercing alarm.

A figure was flying toward him at incredible speed.

No way to dodge!

Making a split-second decision, Tony fired all his onboard weapons.

Boom boom boom!

The fiery explosions seemed to consume the entire space in front of him.

But…

Whoosh!

That rapidly moving figure tore right through the flames and appeared before him.

"What an eyesore..."

A disdainful murmur came with the sound.

A fist grew rapidly larger in Tony's field of vision.

Boom!

With a loud bang, the fist smashed into Tony's chest.

In an instant, the chestplate of his suit caved in, fractures spread out, and it exploded into fragments. His whole body spun and plummeted from the sky.

JARVIS worked desperately to stabilize the suit and minimize the impact for Tony.

But…

Boom!

He still crashed violently to the ground.

Pfft!

A mouthful of blood splattered onto his faceplate. JARVIS began reporting the damage to the suit and Tony's body.

The suit was destroyed. His breastbone was shattered. Fragments had pierced his lungs. Every breath felt like a blade slicing through his chest. He had no strength left at all.

JARVIS activated the life support system. Tony, watching the Kryptonian fly away, had a mix of fear and unwillingness in his eyes.

Just one punch…

What about the others?

Thinking that, with blood constantly dripping from his mouth, he endured the pain and said,

"Be careful… the enemy… is a monster!"

Hearing Tony's warning, a deep sense of dread settled over everyone.

Whoosh!

The Kryptonian who nearly took Tony out in one punch descended from the sky, floating in front of Logan and Hank McCoy.

The Kryptonian man looked curiously at the claws on Logan's fingers.

They looked… very sharp?

Logan stood in front of the Kryptonian, his mind flashing back to Clark's power. Cold sweat trickled down his back. Even so, he charged forward and shouted loudly,

"Hank! Get out of here!"

Roar!

Like a wild beast, Logan lunged at the Kryptonian. Hank turned to flee and had barely taken a few steps when—

Whoosh!

Logan was kicked in the chest by the Kryptonian man. Coughing up blood, he was sent flying past Hank.

Hank McCoy froze in place.
