Wade left Stark Tower, sunlight spilling across his face. It felt as if he were soaking in a hot spring while sipping an ice-cold whiskey.

No—after thinking about it, Wade came up with a description more fitting for himself.

It was like swimming through an ocean of breasts.

Soft, buoyant, and completely enveloping…

Wade drifted in that thought, his body tingling as a wave of heat surged through his chest.

"F**k! You looking to die?!"

A piercing car horn jolted Wade back to reality.

"Hm?"

He turned to see a man shouting at him, then glanced down at the car's front bumper—less than a foot from his legs. Muttering as he continued walking, Wade said, "I'm in a good mood today, so I won't bother with you."

A few seconds later, Wade clapped his hands, flicked a speck of blood from his fingers, and cheerfully walked away.

Meanwhile, the yelling driver clutched at his now hideously mangled face, trembling as he watched Wade's back disappear.

At the Kent Household

After helping Wade restore his face, Mike returned home. Suddenly, an uncontrollable look of joy spread across his own.

Just moments ago, he had heard a long-awaited yet strangely unfamiliar ding in his mind.

After everything that had happened, his ability had finally leveled up.

It had to be because that child had achieved a new milestone.

LV5!

Seeing this new level filled Mike with deep satisfaction.

Finally—finally—it had leveled up!

And now, what abilities would he gain from this upgrade?

LV1: Can materialize objects.

LV2: Can materialize skills.

LV3: Can materialize the abilities of one person.

LV4: The power of materialization increases with each level.

So now…

Mike focused on the system.

His spirit jolted, his body shuddered—again and again.

Alright, maybe it wasn't that dramatic, but he was genuinely startled by the new power unlocked after leveling up.

LV5: Character Materialization

Materialize a person from your memories. Technological creations cannot be materialized.

While the materialized person would still be subject to the same limits as objects—dependent on the invested materialization power, the inherent strength of the target, and Mike's current maximum capacity—it was still a person.

And combined with the card system…

Mike thought, I've just hit a whole new level, haven't I?

Suppressing his eagerness to try it immediately, he turned to the one-time lottery chance awarded with the upgrade.

A virtual prize box appeared before him.

Every prize was related to the ability gained at the previous level. So this time, what would it be? Something tied to materialization power?

Mike pondered briefly, then began the draw.

The box swayed gently, prize after prize flashing across its surface.

There were mainly two types:

First, increasing the upper limit of his materialization power—anywhere from 1% to 100%, with the percentage determined randomly.

Second, improving materialization power recovery speed—either fixed daily recovery, recovery by percentage over time, or even instant full recovery with cooldown restrictions.

A few seconds later, the swaying box came to a stop.

Mike reached in as if grasping something, and when he pulled his hand out, a glowing orb shimmered in his palm before sinking into his body.

Upgrade Reward: Materialization power recovery speed increased. The less power remaining, the faster it recovers, with a maximum recovery speed increase of 100%.

Not bad at all.

Mike nodded in approval.

Exhaling slowly, he smiled in satisfaction, ready to test his new ability when Gwen, who had been practicing piano, pushed open his door.

"Dad, I'm going out. A friend's looking for me."

Mike checked the time. "Alright. Will you be back for lunch?"

"Nope. He said he's taking me out for something good."

"He?"

Mike's eyes narrowed slightly.

Gwen stuck out her tongue, shut the door behind her, and called out, "See you later, gossip queen!"

Mike's expression stiffened.

Wow. She was really getting bolder—giving him nicknames now?

Gossip queen…

He mouthed the words to himself, unable to stop a chuckle.

Well, if Gwen wasn't coming back for lunch, that meant he'd have plenty of time to test his new ability.

Carrying a backpack, Gwen arrived at a fast-food restaurant near her school, scanning the place for the familiar red hood from her memory.

Where was he?

She looked around, puzzled.

Was that lunatic messing with her?

"Hey!"

A familiar voice came from behind her.

Even though she'd only met him once, that irritatingly smug tone could only belong to that lunatic.

Gwen turned her head.

"?"

Staring at a stranger's face, she asked, confused, "Who are you?"

"Ha! With a face this handsome, it could only belong to me—Wade."

Handsome?

Gwen instinctively compared Wade's face to Mike's…

Clearly, he had a very warped idea of what "handsome" meant.

She shook her head. "You're… mildly good-looking at best."

Wade chuckled. "Don't be shy, pretty girl. I know you're screaming inside right now."

Yeah, no.

Gwen stared at him blankly.

She didn't bother explaining—arguing with this guy would only convince him she was hiding something.

"How's your face all healed?"

Gwen asked curiously as she followed Wade to a table and accepted the menu he handed her.

Propping his chin in his hands, Wade set a palm-sized makeup mirror in front of himself, admiring his reflection as he replied, "Someone fixed it, of course."

"Go on, order something. Don't hold back—I just made a nice chunk of cash."

Before leaving Stark Tower, Tony had paid him a month's wages for protecting Pepper Potts.

Gwen ordered casually.

Wade grinned. "I'm leaving soon."

"Leaving?" Gwen blinked in surprise, then lowered her voice. "You're going back to your own timeline?"

Wade nodded. "I've fully charged my time device."

He rolled up his sleeve to show her the gadget on his wrist.

"Congratulations."

Wade smirked, and once the waiter brought their food, he raised his glass of cola, lightly clinking it against hers. "After I take care of one last thing, I'm gone, my friend."

"What thing?" Gwen asked curiously. "Can you tell me?"

Leaning closer, Wade whispered, "I'm going to take out a bald guy."
