"What?!"

Hearing Shenron's words, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and even Kami were all shocked.

"Why not, Shenron? This kind of thing should be a piece of cake for you!"

Yamcha yelled in disbelief.

"If it were just erasing a certain lifeform, I could indeed do it."

Shenron replied calmly.

"Then why can't you grant this wish?!"

Yamcha shouted, frustrated.

"Because the creature you speak of does not belong to this universe."

Shenron answered while gazing at Yamcha.

That statement left both Yamcha and Chiaotzu confused.

"The Shadow Spiders do not originate from this universe, and their life structure is completely alien to this realm. Therefore, I cannot erase them."

Shenron had clearly explained why he was powerless against the Shadow Spiders.

"No way… Even you can't do it…"

Yamcha stared at Shenron, stunned.

They had thought once the Dragon Balls were gathered, they could wipe out the Shadow Spiders with a simple wish.

But now it turned out—not even Shenron could help.

So what were they supposed to do now?

Track them down one by one and kill them manually?

How long would that take? How many lives would be lost by then?

"Wait, Shenron—what about the humanoid beasts, the xenomorphs, and the Blood Pool that appeared on Earth? Can you remove those?"

Kami quickly asked with a new idea.

Any of those three were serious threats to Earth. No matter what, they had to be dealt with.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot do that either."

Shenron shook his head.

"The humanoid beasts and xenomorphs are also not from this universe, so I cannot erase them. As for the Blood Pool—it's far too powerful, and beyond the scope of my abilities."

Hearing that, Kami's face darkened.

That meant they had no way to eliminate the SCP threats running rampant on Earth.

People would continue to die—again and again.

What now? Ask Shenron to resurrect the dead every time?

But as long as these SCPs weren't removed, Earth would constantly be in peril.

Everyone on the Lookout was at a loss. Their faces were grim and full of uncertainty.

"Ah! Yamcha—look at the screen!"

Chiaotzu cried out and pointed urgently.

Onscreen, people had started rampaging like maniacs, attacking others with twisted, feral expressions.

They looked completely possessed.

"Crap… Is this the Shadow Spiders starting to bite people?!"

Yamcha broke into a cold sweat.

The victims were behaving exactly like the screen had described—going berserk and attacking others. The symptoms lined up perfectly.

While they'd been standing around, the infection had already begun.

And once a Shadow Spider bit someone, it was irreversible. Those people were as good as dead.

Yamcha clenched his fists in frustration.

"Kami-sama! If someone is killed by a Shadow Spider and loses their shadow, what happens if we try to revive them without their shadow?"

Yamcha quickly asked.

"They likely cannot be resurrected."

This time, it was Shenron who answered.

"A shadow can be considered a second soul. If it's gone, it's like a piece of the soul is missing. That person wouldn't even be able to pass on to the afterlife, let alone be brought back."

Hearing that, Yamcha and Chiaotzu were utterly horrified.

They never imagined that a creature as "weak" as the Shadow Spider could be this terrifying.

It was the ultimate assassin—killing its victims in a way that prevented even resurrection.

If they didn't act fast, it might soon be too late!

Goku: Hey Yamcha, Chiaotzu, did you make your wish yet? Did you get rid of the Shadow Spiders?

Yamcha: It's bad, Goku! Shenron said he can't eliminate any beings that don't belong to this universe—including the Shadow Spiders and other SCPs!

Chiaotzu: Also, anyone killed by the Shadow Spiders… they can't be revived!

Goku: What?! Not even Shenron can do it?!

Gohan: What are we supposed to do, then? Is there no other way?

Piccolo: There's only one solution left. The dumbest one: track down every single Shadow Spider and destroy them one by one.

Piccolo: As for reviving the victims… forget it. They were just unlucky.

Clark Kent: Hey, that's pretty cold!

Piccolo: Hmph. Am I wrong? They were unlucky—crossed paths with something disgusting and got killed. Simple as that.

Piccolo: Heh. In the end, it's our world that's unlucky.

Yamcha: Damn it! No time to waste—we'll rush to wherever the Shadow Spiders are and blast them with Solar Flare!

Goku: Go, Yamcha! It's a pain, but you and Chiaotzu are all we've got right now!

Vegeta: Heh… bunch of idiots. You're really going with the dumbest possible plan?

Yamcha: What did you say?! Why the hell are you insulting us now?!

Vegeta: What, I'm not allowed to call out your stupidity? You've got an easy fix and still insist on doing things the hard way.

Yamcha: Did you not see what we said earlier?! Shenron can't eliminate them!

Vegeta: Exactly. That's why I'm calling you dumb. If he can't erase them… what about relocating them?

Everyone went quiet.

Yamcha: Huh? What do you mean?

Vegeta: Tch. You really are an idiot. I even spelled it out, and you still don't get it.

Yamcha: You jerk! If you've got a plan, then say it! Stop being cryptic!

Piccolo: I already figured out what he's saying. Vegeta means: instead of erasing the Shadow Spiders, we teleport them all to one location—then destroy them all at once. Am I right?

Vegeta: Hmph. At least the Namekian has some brains. Unlike you Earthlings.

Vegeta: But even you're still missing the point. Why stop at the Shadow Spiders? Why not teleport all the SCPs together?

Piccolo: Heh. I was just about to say that.

Goku: Oh! That's smart! Yamcha—try that!

Yamcha: What?! We can do that? Alright, I'll ask!

Yamcha was about to fly down to the surface but, hearing Vegeta's suggestion, he turned to Shenron instead.

"Shenron, can you teleport all the Shadow Spiders, humanoid beasts, and xenomorphs to a single location?"

Shenron paused, glowing faintly, and then replied:

"That kind of request… I can fulfill."

Upon hearing that, everyone lit up with joy.

They'd thought there was no solution—but now a whole new path had opened up!

If they could gather all SCPs in one place:

—The Shadow Spiders could be destroyed with the most powerful Solar Flare.

—As for the xenomorphs and humanoid beasts? No matter how many there were, Yamcha and Chiaotzu could easily handle them now.
