Demons are immortal; even if swallowed by hell, they are merely re-imprisoned there.

But for the Holy Master, the thought of returning to hell terrifies him more than death itself.

Especially with six demons he betrayed waiting for him there!

If he were to return, endless torment would await him!

Fear filled the Holy Master's heart at the thought.

"My brother! Please, don't do this! I can't go back to hell... forgive me... I swear I'll never betray you again!"

The Holy Master roared with the last of his strength.

He was genuinely terrified...

Meanwhile, not far away, the space began to fracture, forming a black hole-like vortex...

On the other side of this vortex lay the hell where demons were imprisoned!

At this moment, the Holy Master was on the brink of collapse...

But in the next instant, he felt the grip on his soul release!

Without hesitation, the Holy Master fled back into the Coiling Dragon statue!

Simultaneously, the emerging gate to hell vanished completely...

Lucas ultimately spared the Holy Master from being cast back into hell!

It certainly wasn't out of brotherly affection!

When the Holy Master betrayed the other demons, any brotherhood was shattered!

Lucas spared him because of the world's laws!

Although this world now merged Marvel, DC, and Jackie Chan Adventures, the laws of Jackie Chan Adventures still prevailed!

The so-called laws ensure a balance between good and evil!

Simply put, the world needs the Holy Master to maintain balance. If he were sent back to hell, a new demon would emerge to restore this balance!

And given the current situation, that demon might very well be Lucas himself...

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Lucas decided to let the Holy Master be!

Plus, for the story to continue, the Holy Master needed to exist...

Of course, the Holy Master wasn't aware of this. He assumed Lucas was being nostalgic and spared him!

"Thank you! My brother! I promise I will never betray you again!"

Grateful and relieved, the Holy Master quickly spoke again.

He was genuinely scared!

But Lucas wasn't interested in conversation and instead asked, "Holy Master, where is the Pan'ku Box?"

Soon after escaping hell, Lucas attempted to find the Pan'ku Box, recognizing its significance to demons!

According to the original storyline, he visited the temple where the Pan'ku Box was kept.

But to his surprise, the box wasn't there!

Lucas suspected the Holy Master had taken it long ago!

Sure enough, he was right!

"My brother! I did have the Pan'ku Box long ago, and I placed it with the Golden Rooster King Treasure!"

"But to unlock the Golden Rooster King Treasure, I need all the talismans!"

"If you help me obtain all the talismans, you can have the Pan'ku Box! Then, you can release our other siblings!"

After the earlier incident, the Holy Master didn't dare hide anything and revealed the Pan'ku Box's location.

He also subtly suggested Lucas help find the talismans...

After all, Valmont and his crew had yet to bring him any talismans!

He needed Julian's assistance!

But Lucas frowned, feeling it was too much trouble...

He initially sought the Pan'ku Box to avoid being sealed back into hell.

But now, with his immunity to seals, the Pan'ku Box was of no use to him...

The only ones needing the Pan'ku Box were the six demons still trapped in hell!

They are:

The Mountain Demon - Po Kong!

The Wind Demon - Tso Lan!

The Thunder Demon - Hsi Wu!

The Water Demon - Bai Tza!

The Earth Demon - Dai Gui!

The Sky Demon - Xiao Fung!

They could only escape hell with the Pan'ku Box's help!

Honestly, Lucas had no special attachment to these demons, but they were his brothers, and he couldn't deprive them of their chance to escape...

As for whether they'd be sealed back after escaping, that was out of Lucas's control...

So, Lucas decided to assist the Holy Master!

"I'll only help you get the Rat Talisman. The rest, you'll have to manage on your own!"

Lucas declared.

The Rat Talisman symbolizes the power of life, animating inanimate objects and granting them mobility.

For the Holy Master to restore his original form from the Coiling Dragon statue, he'd need the Rat Talisman!
