Marvel, start by marrying the Scarlet Witch

Chapter 105: CHAPTER 114

That afternoon, fearing Wanda might lose confidence in her magical potential, Carl handed her the Elder Wand—a powerful conduit capable of stabilizing and enhancing magic. In contrast, he picked up a chopstick to demonstrate the spellcasting process.

"Wanda, the spell I'm teaching you now is called the Levitation Charm. The incantation is Wingardium Leviosa," Carl said, carefully enunciating, "You say it like this: Win-GAR-dium Levi-O-sa—with the 'gar' and 'o' drawn out clearly. And the wand motion goes like this."

Wanda, who already possessed the ability to move small, lightweight objects with her innate powers, found this spell familiar in principle. That's precisely why Carl chose levitation as her first formal spell—it aligned closely with her instincts.

She grasped the Elder Wand tightly, nervous but eager, and mimicked Carl's motion before pointing the wand at the small table in front of her.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

To both their amazement, the table floated cleanly into the air.

"Carl, I did it!" Wanda squealed, leaping up like an excited child.

The joy on her face was genuine—despite Carl's efforts earlier that morning to explain magical theory, most of it had gone over her head. She had begun to suspect she wasn't cut out for structured magical learning. That's why this success meant the world to her.

True, she had previously been able to levitate light objects, but nothing with this kind of weight. This wasn't just an emotional win—it was an actual leap in her capabilities.

Carl stood still, stunned—not because Wanda succeeded, but because she had completely butchered the wand motion and spoken the spell at the wrong speed... and yet the magic had worked flawlessly.

If he himself had tried the spell with such sloppy execution, he'd have likely failed.

But Wanda had done it. On her first try.

With this new confidence, Wanda urged Carl to teach her more magic. The rest of the afternoon flew by as he introduced her to more than a dozen practical spells: the Unlocking Charm (Alohomora), the Disillusionment Charm, the Transfiguration spell (Vera Verto), the Softening Charm (Spongify), the Smokescreen Spell, Lumos, Nox, Colloportus, and more.

And to Carl's amazement, Wanda breezed through every single one. Even with her poor memory and lack of standard technique, her magic simply obeyed her will. He had seen prodigies before—Credence, for instance—but Wanda was on a different plane entirely.

She learned most spells in one go.

Carl had originally estimated that it would take months to teach her enough to be self-sufficient. Now, he was thinking it might take less than a week.

She didn't even need to learn theory.

All she had to do was memorize the incantations.

That, ironically, turned out to be her biggest challenge—her memory wasn't exactly sharp, so it took her more time to commit the words to heart than to cast the spells themselves.

But Carl thought he had seen it all.

Until the next morning.

---

When Carl woke up, Wanda was already in the kitchen, humming cheerfully as she cooked breakfast.

"Sweetheart, cooking magic is incredible! I've never found preparing meals so easy and fun!" she said brightly.

Carl stepped into the dining area and blinked. Wanda wasn't even holding a wand. Kitchen utensils, pans, and ingredients were floating and moving around with mechanical precision. The stove flared with exactly the right amount of heat. Seasonings danced into pots mid-boil.

Carl blinked again.

It was like watching a Michelin chef possessed by a symphony conductor.

"Looks like you don't need my help anymore," he chuckled. "Just reading the spellbook is enough for you now."

He hadn't even taught her cooking magic. She must have picked it up on her own that morning.

Frankly, it made him feel a bit... useless.

As he turned toward the bathroom to brush his teeth, something clicked in his mind. He stopped and looked back at her.

"Wanda… are you even using a wand for that?"

Still stirring the magical breakfast, Wanda looked over her shoulder and smiled.

"Nope! I thought using the wand and speaking the spell was too much of a hassle, so I tried casting them silently—and it worked just as well. You should try it sometime."

Carl could only nod dumbly. "Yeah. Sure. I'll give that a shot later."

He turned and entered the bathroom.

A loud crack sounded as he applied pressure to his toothbrush, snapping it in half.

"Honey, what happened?" Wanda called out, concerned.

"Ah, it's nothing! The toothbrush broke. I'll grab a new one later," Carl replied, voice tight with disbelief.

She learned magic yesterday.

Today, she was casting spells silently and without a wand.

Carl himself had been through hell to reach his current level. He had inherited magic knowledge from Newt and dark magic from Gellert Grindelwald himself. He'd practiced with his body and mind to the breaking point. And still, he could only silently cast a few familiar spells.

Wandless casting was something he might be able to do in a few more months—if he was lucky.

But Wanda? Wanda just woke up one day and did it.

No incantation. No wand. Just willpower.

She really was the Scarlet Witch.

And if her chaos magic ever merged with the Mind Stone's potential—Carl was pretty sure she could defeat Thanos without even breaking a sweat.

---

Later, while sipping tea at the breakfast table, Carl muttered aloud, "Maybe... maybe we should ask Leo and the others to evacuate the safehouse community."

With Wanda's current power, she could now defend herself better than most trained wizards. Even if an overwhelming threat emerged, she had the ability to teleport herself away or fight back with devastating spells.

The only limiting factor now was how quickly she could memorize spells.

In the kitchen, Wanda continued her magical cooking, clearly still listening.

"Hmph, that saleswoman at the supermarket said this toothbrush was top-quality. Broke in a week. I'll have words with her next time."

Carl took a bite of his magically prepared meal.

His eyes widened. It tasted... divine.

Breakfast had never been this delicious.

Maybe this was the real benefit of Wanda's power.

Three Michelin-star meals, three times a day.

He grinned to himself.

"Yeah… maybe it's time we upgraded our lifestyle."

He couldn't help but imagine—what if Wanda had chakra as well? If she could learn Naruto-style techniques like the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, she'd be unstoppable.

Unfortunately, chakra didn't exist in this world.

He only had access to it because of his system and the main quests that gave him unique world traits.

But maybe… just maybe, if he could find a way to bring the sacred tree into this universe…

Then all bets were off.
