Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

Chapter 36: EPISODE 36: “Blood Seraphim’s Vow”

🔺 "The tower was never built. It was spoken into existence by a single promise."

❗ Previously on Tokyo Avengers:

The team conquered Floor 4: Red Marriage, where Scarlet Onna faced the spectral Bride of the Abyss.

But as the chapel crumbled, a new floor opened — not a room, but a realm.

The Avengers now ascend into the final ceremony.

[Scene 1 – The Hall of Lies]

They step into a vast crimson hall.

The air buzzes. The floor is covered in ritual scrolls, each one whispering lies.

The walls shift endlessly, flickering between visions:

S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ burning.

Scarlet Onna alone in her childhood home.

Kuro tearing through civilians.

Nekoburst's claws stained with blood.

Starwave on stage — performing for corpses.

Renji's blades shattered, surrounded by his slain mentors.

ONMYO FLARE (narrowing his eyes):

"These are illusion bindings. But they shouldn't be this strong."

SCARLET ONNA:

"They're not illusions. They're attempts. He's trying to rewrite us."

The floor beneath them collapses.

They fall—

[Scene 2 – The Abyss Ceremony Begins]

The Avengers land in a giant inverted ritual ring, carved into the stomach of the tower.

There's no floor. They're standing on a pulsing magic glyph of floating stitches and runes.

At the center is BLOOD SERAPHIM —

Not yet fully formed.

Not yet god.

But more than human.

He floats, wrapped in thousands of blood-threads, suspended like a cocoon.

A heartbeat echoes — not from him… but from the tower itself.

BLOOD SERAPHIM (calm, cold):

"I vowed to become the final bloom of power.

To unmake death.

To create a world where memory never fades."

NEKOBURST (snarling):

"You stitched corpses together and called it heaven."

[Scene 3 – The Binding Battle]

Blood Seraphim snaps his fingers.

Dozens of bloodthread constructs emerge — living needles, blade familiars, puppets of former cultists.

🎤 STARWAVE

Spins through the constructs with Tempo Nova Kick, her heels unleashing rhythmic shockwaves.

One blood puppet mimics her form —

She double-kicks through its core, using Tempo Disrupt to desync its fake rhythm.

🐺 KURO ŌKAMI

Goes beast-mode early — Full Moon Surge activated.

He rips through the blood-chains like a rabid spirit wolf, dodging thread spears and mauling corrupted monks with savage precision.

🧧 ONMYO FLARE

Conjures Five Blade Seals, forming a star around Blood Seraphim's glyph ring, trying to collapse the ritual.

"I don't care what you want. This spell ends here."

Seraphim laughs — and bends the sigils, hijacking two of them.

[Scene 4 – Scarlet Onna's Choice]

Blood Seraphim turns to her, gently.

BLOOD SERAPHIM:

"You're the last descendant. The red thread is yours. Join me. Stitch the end of death."

SCARLET ONNA:

"I won't save the world by butchering it."

She begins weaving a new spell — one she invented.

Not a seal. Not a curse.

A counter-vow.

"If you stitch, I'll cut.

If you bind, I'll burn.

If you call yourself god—

—Then I'm the hand that pulls the thread."

She launches the Unbinding Sigil: THREAD ZERO, slicing toward his cocoon.

[Scene 5 – The Tower Cracks]

The spell hits. Blood Seraphim screams.

The glyph ring shatters.

The false sky of the tower bleeds open.

The cocoon rips apart — revealing not a god…

…but a broken man held together by stolen magic.

He collapses to one knee.

BLOOD SERAPHIM (snarling):

"You've delayed me. But the bloom...

will come."

[Scene 6 – Revelation: The Tower is Lying]

Suddenly, the tower groans — and rewinds itself slightly.

They're all lifted back to the starting position — the center of the ritual floor — as if the entire battle was a testing loop.

ONMYO FLARE (shocked):

"That wasn't the final floor. He was measuring our resistance."

SCARLET ONNA:

"How many floors are there really?"

A new glyph burns into the wall:

"🔺 FLOOR 5: STILLBIRTH ALTAR"

BLOOD SERAPHIM (whispering):

"You've rejected my vow.

Now face what I birthed."
