Marvel X The Boys

Chapter 28: The Trap

The explosion rocked the docks, sending a shockwave through the foggy streets. The van rattled as Tony, Deadpool, Alex, Hughie, Mother's Milk, and Frenchie felt the ground shake beneath them.

Smoke and flames erupted from the warehouse.

Tony's face darkened. "That's our signal. Move."

Rushing Into the Fight

Tony tapped his watch, and within seconds, his Mark 50 armor materialized over him in a sleek nanotech flash.

"Finally," Deadpool stretched dramatically. "Time to do what I do best—be reckless and annoy everyone!"

"Can you ever take anything seriously?" Alex groaned.

"Kid," Deadpool patted his shoulder. "I am serious about two things: maximum effort and meta jokes."

"Great," Hughie muttered. "We're gonna die with a comedian."

Mother's Milk cocked his shotgun. "Let's move."

Inside the Warehouse: Chaos Unleashed

The fight inside was already in full swing.

A-Train zipped through the warehouse like a blue blur, taking cheap shots at Steve and Clint, keeping them off balance. Black Noir fought Butcher and Natasha, his movements eerily silent and precise. Butcher was swinging his crowbar like a madman, every hit getting blocked with infuriating ease.

"Slippery bastard, ain't ya?" Butcher growled.

CRASH!

Steve's shield smashed through a crate, missing A-Train by inches as the speedster laughed.

"Gotta be quicker than that, old man!" A-Train taunted.

Steve caught the shield as it ricocheted back. "I can do this all day."

A-Train smirked. "I bet you can't do it at Mach 3."

The Reinforcements Arrive

BOOM!

The warehouse doors exploded inward as Tony, Deadpool, Alex, Hughie, Mother's Milk, and Frenchie charged inside.

Tony's repulsors flared up, scanning the battlefield. "Alright, playtime's over."

Deadpool clapped excitedly. "YES! This is it! The crossover brawl of the century! I can already see the fan edits!"

A-Train skidded to a stop. "Oh, great. More idiots."

"HEY," Deadpool gasped. "I resemble that remark!"

Black Noir turned his head slightly, his masked gaze landing on Tony's armor.

Frenchie exhaled, flicking his cigarette. "I do not like this. I do not like this at all."

"Then you're really gonna hate the next part," Mother's Milk muttered.

Because that's when the air above them shifted.

And something landed.

Homelander Arrives

BOOM.

The warehouse roof shattered inward as a figure dropped down, hovering just above the fight.

A red cape billowed in the dust.

Glowing blue eyes cut through the smoke.

A slow, amused chuckle filled the room.

"Well, well, well," Homelander smirked, looking down at the chaos. "Looks like we have a party."

Deadpool gasped theatrically. "OH MY GOD, IT'S HIM! The one, the only—Captain Psychopath!"

Homelander's smirk didn't waver. "And you must be the annoying one."

Deadpool bowed. "I prefer 'handsome anti-hero with a penchant for chaos,' but I'll take it."

Tony's HUD flooded with warning signals.

"Alright, team," Tony said grimly. "New plan: Don't die."

Alex's system pinged violently in his head.

System Notification

[WARNING: ELITE-LEVEL THREAT DETECTED]Homelander – Level ???[No known weaknesses detected]

[Survival Rate: 12%]

Alex gulped.

"Guys," he whispered. "I think we're in trouble."

Homelander grinned.

"Now…" his voice was smooth as silk, dripping with amusement.

"Which one of you wants to die first?"
