"Truly Celestial Magic!"

George watched the enormous meteor falling from the sky, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

"Everyone, over here."

With such a large meteor, it was clear that even their combined efforts wouldn't be able to stop it.

Since they couldn't block it, the only option left was to avoid it.

Upon hearing George's telepathic communication, everyone, including Lucy and the others, gathered around him.

"Natsu, quickly use Blaze of the Flame Dragon!"

"Left hand's flame, right hand's flame—two flames combine into one, the Blaze of the Flame Dragon!"

Merging his fire with the absorbed Extreme Fire, Natsu unleashed a massive blaze from the ground, launching it upward to meet the falling meteor.

Meanwhile, George extended his hand and pointed at the icy surface below.

"Mirror World!"

The hard ice surface rippled instantly, and everyone found themselves transported into an alternate mirror world, completely opposite to the real world.

"What's happening?"

As they watched, the meteor shattered the Blaze of the Flame Dragon and continued its descent toward them. Despite the enormous tsunami, nothing seemed to affect them. Lucy and the others looked around, bewildered.

"This is my Mirror Magic," George explained. "It temporarily shifts us into another mirror world, where we're not affected by the outside."

Hugh, who had been listening, added:

"It's a spatial magic, very similar to mine."

Hugh's magic allowed him to create a space inside a playing card and trap enemies within it. The mirror world was similar to that, though it wasn't as confined as the card space.

"Gerald is skilled in many types of magic and is very sensitive to space. He'll figure out where we are soon enough," Simon observed, looking at the still raging tsunami outside.

"We should leave here," Simon said. "We're no match for Gerald."

"No," Erza replied firmly. "If we allow Gerald to revive Jellal, it will spell disaster for the entire world."

She turned to George, her eyes serious. "George, you take them and leave. I'll stay behind and look for an opportunity to sneak attack and try to kill Gerald."

"I'm not leaving."

"I'm not leaving either."

"If Lord Gray isn't leaving, then I'm staying too."

Natsu and Gray, along with the others, clearly didn't want Erza to stay behind alone, so they decided to remain and fight Gerald to the end.

After a moment of thought, George revised their battle strategy.

"That last level of magic must have drained a significant amount of his magical energy."

"I have a powerful magic that might be able to defeat him, but it will take some time to prepare."

George didn't want to give up the massive magic crystal either.

"How long do you need?" Erza asked.

"At least seven minutes," George replied after some calculation.

His ultimate attack was an ancient magic that required a considerable amount of time to prepare.

With the support of a magic wand from this world, the Thunderstorm he could cast would be much stronger than the one he used in Asgard in the Marvel universe.

Of course, simply relying on this Thunderstorm magic might not be enough to defeat Gerald, so he had come up with a new plan.

If it worked, there was a high chance of success.

If it failed, he would no longer care about the magic crystal and would escape with everyone using Phantom Shift. After all, his life was the priority.

"Don't worry, we'll buy you enough time," Natsu said with a determined look.

Erza once again donned her chest band and wielded two magic swords, her resolve firm—she would delay for those seven minutes, even if it meant her life.

"Head to the island. There's a magic crystal there that might make him hesitant to act."

George quickly led everyone toward the small island in the mirror world.

Fighting on the island would at least prevent Gerald from casting powerful spells like Starfall, as doing so would destroy the magic crystal along with everything else.

Meanwhile, standing on the celestial magic array, Gerald frowned as he watched the tsunami subside and the magical presence of everyone vanish.

"They shouldn't all be dead..."

His celestial magic was indeed incredibly powerful. He understood that most weaker enemies would be turned to air instantly, but someone like Erza, an S-Class Mage with the incredibly strong Diamond Armor, should at most be gravely wounded, near death.

As a council member, Gerald had access to detailed information about the recent Guild War, so he knew the abilities of those below—there was no way they could be so easily killed.

"Looks like they're hiding. Let's see where you've gone."

His eyes glowed with two magic arrays as he began scanning the surrounding space.

Gerald's magic tutor had been Bryan, a former director at the Magic Development Bureau, skilled in all kinds of magic. Gerald, a natural genius in magic, had mastered nearly every spell on his first try.

Apart from his devastating celestial magic, he had also learned many utility spells, and this spatial detection magic was one of them.

"Found you. So, you've hidden in another space."

In less than two minutes, Gerald had already found a flaw in the mirror world magic. He raised his hand and cast a spatial magic, forcibly opening a link to the mirror world and diving in.

Inside the mirror world, Gerald quickly sensed the presence of Erza and the others and flew toward the island.

"That guy really came in."

On the island, feeling Gerald's presence intrude into the mirror world, George quickly led everyone back to the real world through the magic crystal's mirror.

When Simon mentioned that Gerald could enter the mirror world, George wasn't particularly surprised. Although it was magic from a different world, the essence of magic was often the same.

Like how Kado could slice through space with a sword to attack Erza trapped in the card space, Erza herself could also break through the spatial seal to escape. This meant spatial magic in this world wasn't impossible to break.

Given Gerald's immense power and his mastery of various types of magic, it wasn't shocking that he could see through and enter the mirror world.

Magic like the mirror space was particularly effective against brute-force mages like Natsu, but for those who studied various types of magic, it was much easier to crack.

"Let's see where you can run to now!"

Not long after George led everyone out of the mirror world, Gerald reappeared in the real world.

"Gerald, I'm ending this now!"

Erza, wielding both magic swords, charged in to fight, while Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Lucy, and the recovered Simon, Hugh, Wally, and Mirajane joined the fray.

George silently stepped back, continuing to chant the long incantation of his ancient magic.

Gerald's strength was still overwhelming—he easily overwhelmed everyone, even without using large-scale magic.

Thankfully, Erza, Natsu, and the others were tough and persistent, continuing to fight with all their might.

"Thunderstorm Descends! Thunder Giant!"

As it seemed the group could barely hold on any longer, George finally completed his incantation.

At the moment the spell finished, he activated his power, gathering the iron sand and rocks from the island, slowly transforming them into a towering Thunder Giant.

Yes, he was testing to see if he could make the Thunder Giant absorb the lightning from the Thunderstorm magic, further amplifying its power.
