Melusine, Become my Noble Phantasm!

Chapter 79: Chapter 79: Spring Is Here, and It’s Time for the Animals...

I did not intend to follow King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table back to the Glorious City.

I was a mere accidental player, not the story's hero.

There was nothing left for me on this island.

If I had one lingering concern, it was Morgan's fate.

After all, Morgan was my teacher. We had traveled together for so long.

The last time I saw Morgan, she was not well.

I hoped she was safe.

In the original legends, Morgan's whereabouts grew unknown after Mordred joined the Round Table.

Even if I wanted to find her, I wouldn't know where to start.

And the Morgan I knew was not the same as the Morgan summoned by the masters of the fairy kingdom or in the games I remembered.

How should I regard my teacher now?

As Arthur returned to Camelot, I imagined Mordred standing among the crowd, admiring him.

Years of glory would follow.

After the final battle, Melusine did not fully revert to her original child form.

She only reshaped her armored limbs and body back to a normal appearance, hiding her huge wings and long tail.

She looked like a grown version of the little girl I knew.

Her snug white short-sleeved shirt revealed her belly; shorts showed off her perfect legs.

Compared to before, Melusine seemed more playful, blooming with charm...

Wait! Was this dragon courting?

Melusine was a dragon, after all.

Fully releasing her true form meant thinking and acting more like one.

This was unmistakably dragon courtship behavior!

Spring had come, and the animals...

Stop!

What should I do? Should I use the contract's power to restore her to her full dragon form?

Melusine caught my gaze, then jumped on my back and poked my cheek.

"Aslan, you're thinking rude things. Since I'm back to my true form, there's no reason to change back on a whim. Understand?"

She buried her face in my back and rubbed it gently.

My armor was stowed, and through my white clothes she could feel the faint dragon scales awakened by my bloodline.

Melusine blushed.

Perhaps because the island's power and dragon blood had surged, I now carried a unique dragon aura.

If the old Aslan was human, now I was half-dragon, half-human.

The high level of the white dragon blood made my aura nobler.

In this world, I was certainly one of the few worthy of a dragon like Melusine.

She closed her eyes, lips curved with satisfaction.

What to do? She liked me more today than yesterday.

Melusine seemed to understand my thoughts.

Our next journey would leave Great Britain.

This island was her territory, but on the mainland, threats to me would be harder to shake.

Before we left, she needed to leave a part of herself with me.

"Aslan! Let's mate!"

I had just put down my things when she said it behind me.

Before I could react, she pressed me to the bed.

Her hidden dragon tail wrapped gently around my ankles.

She straddled me fully, seized my wrists, buried her head in my neck, and then pulled me close with her tail.

"Didn't I say I'd personally take my reward? There's only one I want— you, Aslan~"

She licked my Adam's apple, tightened her tail around my ankles, and lightly stroked my toes.

One hand tore off my clothes.

In the dragon world, the weak submit to the strong.

She was taking the lead.

Her eyes met mine.

Though rarely roused by Melusine, the awakened dragon blood and her power stirred me now.

She smiled, licking her lips like a hunter eyeing a feast.

The pressure from this dragon radiated beyond the room, driving animals and fairies dozens of miles away.

She was determined to conquer me today!

Even Jesus couldn't change that.

No one would interrupt.

When Merlin came to thank me for safely returning Artoria to Camelot, he sensed the strong dragon aura outside the forest—two dragons.

A warm smile softened his face.

Because of what I did this time, Merlin's wary stance toward me had shifted.

He now treated me with the calm authority of an elder.

After all, Altria and I were of the same generation.

Thinking back to when Merlin first saw me—a little kid in the forest—

So many years had passed in the blink of an eye.

"That's growth," Merlin said quietly.
