Chapter 63: : The Clock That Ticks Backward

📘 Chapter 63

⚠️ Scene 1: Kyro City's Fall into Reversal

At exactly 06:06 a.m., Kyro City's central time hub exploded—not in fire, but in reverse.

Flames froze. Glass reassembled mid-air. People gasped as their aging reversed.

An old woman knitting on her porch suddenly blinked and became her 25-year-old self again. Her memories? Gone.

Across the city, chaos reigned in rewind.

On top of the city's Chrono Tower stood the Shatterer of Time—a cloaked figure whose face was a spinning clock, its hands ticking counter to reality.

"The forward march of time is an illusion. Welcome to the age of undoing."

🔬 Scene 2: Zake and Zui's Awakening

Back in Lab OMEGA, Zake gripped his chest, gasping for breath.

Zui, still in her healing pod, opened her eyes briefly. A purple glint flashed in them.

Dr. Viya: "They're resonating with Zeron's Krono… no, it's beyond that. Their bodies are reacting as if they were meant to awaken when time itself destabilized."

Zake's hand began glowing with streaks of Silver Krono—a color previously unknown.

Zake (shocked): "This... this isn't normal Krono. It feels like I'm holding multiple moments at once!"

Viya (quietly): "He's generating quantum echoes."

👥 Scene 3: Introduction — Kairen, the Time Hacker

Zeron heads to Kyro City, accompanied by a new support agent: Kairen, a sarcastic, sharp-tongued Time Hacker who uses Chrono-code to decrypt time anomalies.

She rides a floating console called Chrono Spider, and speaks in bursts of technobabble.

Kairen: "You're not gonna like this, Mr. Legendary Krono Man. The Shatterer here? He's rewriting people's timelines like they're wiki pages."

Zeron: "Then let's make an edit he won't forget."

⏳ Scene 4: The Backwards War

The battlefield is surreal.

Soldiers forget orders before they hear them.

Weapons recharge before they fire.

Buildings collapse and uncollapse in infinite loops.

Zeron's mech, Aetherion Omega, glitches briefly—it's too synchronized with real time.

Kairen deploys a Time Firewall—locking a radius of stable time.

Within that zone, Zeron challenges the Shatterer.

Zeron: "You bend time. But do you even understand it?"

The Shatterer responds with an army of time-reflected clones—each one a different version of Zeron, pulled from alternate timelines.

Zeron is forced to fight his past and future selves.

🧠 Scene 5: Echoes of Destiny

As the battle intensifies, one of the clone-Zerons speaks:

"You're not the original. None of us are. We're all rewritten... over and over."

Zeron hesitates.

"Then who am I?"

Suddenly, Zui's voice echoes in his mind:

"You're the one who stayed. That's all that matters."

Reinforced by that, Zeron unleashes Chrono Singularity Drive—a pulse that pauses every time-layer in the vicinity for 9.99 seconds.

He rushes forward, deactivates the Shatterer's core-clock, and whispers:

"It's time you stopped."

The clock-face shatters. Time in Kyro City begins flowing normally again.

💔 Scene 6: The Cost of Victory

But not everything returns.

Hundreds of citizens are stuck permanently in altered ages.

Some children are now elders.

Some lovers no longer remember each other.

Zeron walks through the streets, haunted by silent stares.

Kairen places a hand on his shoulder.

Kairen: "You saved the city. But time... doesn't forgive."

🎭 Scene 7: Meanwhile, In the Shadows

Elsewhere, in a blackened observatory, a hooded figure watches the feed.

A robotic voice speaks:

"Subject Z-01 has stabilized the first node."

The hooded figure—none other than Zeron's deceased father, long thought lost—grins.

"Good. He's playing right into our timeline. Now... release the Third Harbinger."
