MHA: A Villain's Leading Wish

The cold seemed warm for Izuku Midoriya.

He'd wished to see his hero since he developed a consciousness. 

He was finally here, right in front of him, All Might. A big smile took over his face as he relaxed slightly. 

The pain on his leg was starting to become worse.

He reluctantly surrendered the thought of helping his idol fight the villain.

Shinji looked at his former idol.

Knowing that they were going to be ok, his body lost all strength, and he dropped to the ground without resistance.

As he laid there in the snow, he thought about their failure.

Having worked his ass off for a year, he expected more of himself. 

'I really need to improve my close range fighting skills. Being overly reliant on my quirk made me weak without it. When things calm down I'll ask Midoriya to teach me some moves.'

Shinji believed he could use the quirk of the boy, but he wasn't so sure as the tattoos only felt uncomfortable during the day and gave some extra light during the night. 

He didn't dare eat another person as that might erase this boy's transformation. 

'What would I tell Midoriya then?'

For now he knew that his quirk reacted to his desires.

When the desire was impossible, it sometimes found abstract ways to accomplish it. 

He wanted to save the boy in that alleyway but ate, and became him instead. 

'Who was he? I want to know.'

Shinji could revert to his original appearance whenever he wanted, which he did when doing vigilante work. 

First, there was his full transformation with the monster.

It made him faster, stronger, and have heightened senses and reflexes. 

In this mode he had half the strength and skills of the monster. 

He didn't know if he could achieve other forms like it for now. 

There hadn't been another time in which he'd seen his quirk take another form and was clueless what happened to it that night on the alleyway. 

'Maybe it was the ice?'

Whatever the case, his quirk seemed to be growing stronger with each continuous use, albeit very minimally. 

Shinji returned his attention to what was happening in front of him. 

The snowman god had a perverted smile, a thrilled expression was plastered on his face looking at Japan's greatest hero.

'I will crush him,' he thought. 

"You shameless villain, this is where your destruction ends."

All Might started to walk imposingly towards the villain. 

"Today, I will show the whole world that Japan's number one hero is nothing compared to me! All Might, this is where you fall."

The snowman god made the air around them colder than it already was.

Midoriya and Shinji started trembling uncontrollably. 

Hundreds of snowmen were now on the streets, all having their attention focused on the pro hero.

Shinji and Midoriya were completely ignored.

All Might's iconic smile continued to be present on his face. 

"Charge, my minions."

All the snowmen started charging at him, but it didn't matter. 

"Detroit smash!"

Following All Might's hit, the wind pressure it created was enough to dissipate the cold air along with the snowmen. 

All of the snow scattered around, and what remained was a stunned "god." 

All Might disappeared from his position and reappeared behind the villain.

Noticing this, the snowman god turned around while thinking, 'this can't be possible.'

The fist of justice struck his head hard enough for him to be sent flying straight to the ground.

With the villain now incapacitated, All Might started approaching the injured teenagers. 

"Younglings, medical help is on its way, please hold on." 

Izuku, Hearing his idol addressing them, became excited.

Realizing something, he asked, "A-All Might, c-can I become a hero even without a quirk?"

This was it, Midoriya had spent countless moments in his life thinking about this exact situation. 

All Might's smile twitched. "Young boy, what's your name?"

"M-my name is Izuku Midoriya." 

"Young Midoriya, I wish I said you could, but you have to be realistic."

Midoriya's eyes opened wide and his body started trembling, he didn't like where this was going. 

"Right now, the injury on your leg inflicted by this villain has made you immobile. I cannot simply say that you can be a hero without a quirk when your life is constantly being put at risk in this profession."

Izuku gritted his teeth with frustration, he was looking at the ground, seeking anything to distract him from what he was hearing. 

"Being a police officer is also a respectable job, you can aim to become one."

Midoriya didn't say a word, keeping his silence and wishing that things could be different. 

"Who said that someone can't be a hero if they don't have a quirk? You can do anything you set your mind to achieve." 

Shinji listened to All Might's words and lost all the respect he had for him. 

Nothing was going to stop him from achieving his goal of a better world, and nothing was going to stop Izuku from becoming a hero. 

Coming to his senses, Midoriya proudly looked up and declared while screaming, "I will become the number one hero!" 

The raw emotion coming from his voice made All Might have goosebumps, but the sensation quickly turned into a slight frown.

Looking at the youngster in front of him being so determined made him doubt himself. 

Deciding not to say anything, he quietly left the scene. 

'I hate to admit it but there's no way I could defeat All Might on a fight with my current level.'

The two boys were laying on the concrete, with snow having dissipated, it hurt to be laying on their backs. 

"Thank you, Yuuji."

Midoriya had a slight smile on his face.

It hurt to be rejected by his idol, but having the support of his friend was more important to him. 

"Don't worry about it, Midoriya, actually, I have something to tell you." 

"What are you going to tell me?" Midoriya focused his attention on Shinji. 

Shinji took a moment to collect his thoughts and prepare himself mentally for what he was about to say. 

"I've been lying to you."

He paused for a second, thinking about the pros and cons for the last time. 

Having made up his mind, he said, "My name's not actually Yuuji."
