I know, I know, you guys want action. I promise, something good is coming. This chapter is too important though. And fun. Soooo... have fun!

Mt. Lady threw her hands up. "This isn't how things are supposed to work."

Midnight shrugged. "Doesn't matter. If the internet loves him, it is already a done deal."

Sero leaned back. "So, uh… training over?"

Midnight shot him a look. "Oh, hell no. If anything, we need it more than ever." She gestured toward me. "Midoriya just proved why you can't trust the media, but that also means you have to be good enough that no edit can ruin your dumbass if you screw up."

Mt. Lady pointed at Kaminari. "You. Interview."

Kaminari sat up straight. "Wait, what? Right now?"

"Yeah, dummy. Get up here."

Kaminari grumbled but got to his feet, scratching the back of his head as he shuffled over. Midnight kicked a chair toward him, and he sat down. Mt. Lady crossed her arms, taking position across from him like a real reporter.

"Alright, you are a fresh-faced hero out of U.A., and the world wants to know who you are. First question… what inspired you to become a hero?"

Kaminari straightened, puffing his chest a little. "Well, y'know, I've always wanted to help people, and-"

"Nope." Mt. Lady cut him off immediately. "Generic. Bland. Could be anyone. Try again."

Kaminari blinked. "Wait, what?"

"You need personality," Midnight said. "Give a real answer."

He shifted in his seat. "Okay, uh… I guess it is cause I was kinda reckless as a kid, and I always looked up to heroes that just… threw themselves into danger without hesitation. I wanted to be that guy… the one who could run in and actually make a difference."

Mt. Lady nodded. "Better. Next question... what is the biggest mistake you've made so far?"

Kaminari hesitated. "Uh… I mean, there is been a few."

Mt. Lady tilted her head. "Like?"

"I, uh…" He glanced at us. "I might've electrocuted myself a few too many times."

The class collectively groaned.

Mina smacked her forehead. "Dude, don't make yourself look like a moron."

Midnight sighed. "You could've spun that into a joke, but now you just sound incompetent."

Kaminari grumbled under his breath.

Mt. Lady gestured for him to sit back down. "Next."

Mina practically bounced up. "Ooo, me!"

She plopped into the chair, grinning. Midnight smirked. "Alright, Ashido, what makes you different from other heroes?"

Mina winked. "Oh, easy. I am the most fun."

Mt. Lady raised a brow. "How does 'fun' make you a better hero?"

Mina spread her arms. "Because morale is important! You think civilians feel safer with some brooding edge lord scowling at them, or with someone who actually makes them feel comfortable?"

Midnight tapped her chin. "Not bad. Keeps it lighthearted but makes a point."

Mina pointed at Bakugo. "Yeah, unlike this guy, who probably made a baby cry once just by existing."

He scoffed. "They should grow stronger."

Sero snickered. "Dude, they are babies."

"Sounds like a skill issue."

Mt. Lady waved a hand. "Alright, you are done. Midoriya, get up here."

Izuku nervously raised his hand, "Which one?"

Mt. Lady pointed at me. "The charming one. I still remember you trying to flirt with me a year ago."

I chuckled. "I made an impression, huh?" The whispered, 'System you owe me for that!'

The class was immediately all over it. Kaminari and Mina turned to me like they had just found buried treasure. Sero grinned. Jiro raised an eyebrow. Yaoyorozu looked mildly curious.

Kaminari practically bounced in his seat. "Wait, wait, hold on. Ryuu? Flirting? With Mt. Lady?"

Mina gasped. "Details. Now."

Mt. Lady smirked. "Oh, he was smooth. Walked up after one of my press events, all confidence, all charm-"

I held up a hand. "Don't overhype it. I asked if she wanted dinner. She said no."

Mt. Lady shrugged. "You made it sound better than that. Something about how a lady of my stature deserved finer company than the tabloids?"

Mina clutched her chest. "Oh my god, he actually has game."

Jiro deadpanned. "I refuse to believe this."

Bakugo scoffed. "Tch. This moron? Game? He talks like he is allergic to sincerity."

Kaminari wiped an imaginary tear. "He is been holding out on us."

I crossed my arms. "Right. Glad this is a group discussion now."

Mt. Lady chuckled. "Well, I turned him down, obviously. But I gotta say, he had more finesse than most heroes who try."

Yaoyorozu tilted her head. "You mean other heroes have attempted to court you?"

"Girl, I could make a book out of bad pick-up lines I've heard from Pro Heroes," Mt. Lady said, stretching. "But your boy here? He tried to be smooth about it. Not the worst."

Kaminari turned to me, wide-eyed. "Bro, you tried to pull a Pro Hero."

Mina nodded furiously. "And didn't get laughed at!"

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "You all done?"

Midnight waved a hand. "Okay, okay, fun is over. Midoriya, sit. Interview time."

I leaned back in the chair, completely relaxed. Mt. Lady leaned forward, playing the part of the interviewer again. "Alright, Ryuu Midoriya. Tell us… what does being a hero mean to you?"

I tilted my head slightly, thinking for half a second before answering. "A lot of things. Safety, responsibility. A job."

Mt. Lady blinked. "A job?"

I gestured vaguely. "Yeah. People act like heroism is some grand, noble calling, but at the end of the day, it is a career. You get paid, you have responsibilities, and if you screw up, people suffer. Simple as that."

Yaoyorozu nodded slightly. "Pragmatic."

Mt. Lady tapped her chin. "So, would you say you are not in it for justice?"

I gave her a look. "Justice is an abstract concept. You can't measure it, can't put it in numbers. But you can measure impact. How many people you save, how much damage you prevent, how effective you are. That is what matters."

Kaminari whispered, "Dude, he sounds like Iida."

Jiro muttered, "Or Yaoyorozu."

Mina was frowning slightly, like she wasn't sure how to react. "I thought you would say something more…"

I gestured for her to finish.

She shrugged. "I dunno, more badass?"

I smirked. "Oh, my bad. Should I have said, 'I am the night' and brooded in a corner?"

Mt. Lady snorted. "Okay, next question… who inspires you?"

I didn't hesitate. "All Might."

The room went silent for a second.

Mt. Lady tilted her head. "Really? That is… surprisingly straightforward for you."

I shrugged. "Man carried a broken system on his back for years. Saved more people than anyone else in history. Kept the country together through sheer will. Even if I don't agree with everything he did, you can't deny results."

Mt. Lady nodded. "Fair enough. Alright, next… what is the biggest lesson you've learned at U.A.?"

I leaned back slightly. "Adapt. Plans fall apart, people fail, situations change. Doesn't matter how much you prepare… when things go to hell, you either keep moving or get buried."

Sero muttered, "Okay, this is freaking me out."

Kaminari nodded. "Yeah, why does he sound like an actual Pro?"

Yaoyorozu had her hands clasped together, watching closely. Midnight, for her part, looked impressed.

Mt. Lady tapped her fingers on the table. "Alright. One more question. If you could say one thing to people watching, what would it be?"

I exhaled through my nose, then looked directly at her. "Hero work isn't about being special. It is not about quirks or flash or big speeches. It is about what you do when shit hits the fan. If you can't handle that, pick another job."

The room went quiet again.

Then Kaminari muttered, "Who the fuck are you, and what did you do to Ryuu?"

Mina leaned forward, staring at me like I had grown a second head. "Okay, what the hell? Why do you sound… responsible?"

Sero pointed at me. "No jokes. No insults. Just… professionalism?"

Jiro raised an eyebrow. "Did you get possessed?"

I smirked slightly, stretching. "Hey, I can behave when I need to."

Toru nudged Yaoyorozu with her elbow. "You good?"

Yaoyorozu barely registered it, still staring. "Was he always this attractive?"

Silence. Then, Toru choked on air. "EXCUSE ME?"

Yaoyorozu blinked, finally realizing what she had just said out loud. Her entire body tensed like she had been hit with a taser. "I-That was not-I did not mean-"

Mina was on her in a second, practically vibrating. "Did I hear that right?"

Jiro sat up straighter, watching with a slow grin. Kaminari leaned in, eyes wide. "Oh-ho, hold up. You catching feelings for our resident menace?"

Yaoyorozu shot up from her seat like she had been electrocuted. "Absolutely not! That was merely an observation!"

Sero smirked. "Damn. 'Observation' sounds a lot like 'confession' to me."

Mina was already shaking her by the shoulders. "Momo. MOMO. This is huge."

Yaoyorozu tried to compose herself, smoothing her skirt and clearing her throat. "There is nothing huge about it! I was merely making a..."

"...A what?" Jiro cut in, leaning forward, enjoying this way too much.

Yaoyorozu was drowning. "A-a statement of objective fact. That is all."

"Objective fact," Kaminari repeated, nodding sagely. "So, scientifically speaking, Ryuu is hot."

Sero whistled. "Damn. Science really be proving all kinds of things today."

Toru, still recovering from the initial shock, grabbed Yaoyorozu's hands. "Oh my god, you have a thing for him."

"I DO NOT."

Mina's eyes sparkled with the force of a thousand gossiping demons. "Okay, okay, so, like, when did this happen?"

Yaoyorozu let out a noise somewhere between a frustrated sigh and a strangled scream. "It is NOT a thing! I simply noticed-"

"You noticed he is hot," Jiro deadpanned.

Tokoyami, from the corner, spoke without looking up. "Truly, the darkness attracts all forms of chaos."

Iida adjusted his glasses. "This is not appropriate dorm conduct!"

Sero nodded. "Bro, even Iida is overheating."

Yaoyorozu clenched her fists. "That is NOT-"

I chuckled, leaning back. "Nah, she is just hot for my decent act. She was always attracted to me."

Yaoyorozu huffed, crossing her arms. "I was not."

I grinned. "How about a second date, then?"

She shot me a glare. "It was not a date."

I shrugged. "I paid for your meal. Sounds like a date to me."

Uraraka pinched my cheek from the side, pulling me toward her. "You still haven't taken me for a second!"

Toru pouted. "Neither me!"

Jiro, sitting across from us, tapped her fingers against the armrest, pretending not to care. "Not that it matters, but same here."

Kaminari grinned, nudging Sero. "Damn, dude is collecting complaints like side quests again."

Mina leaned closer, eyes sparkling. "So, Ryuu, when are you gonna take responsibility for breaking all these hearts?"

I snorted. "The hell you mean 'take responsibility'? I never promised any of you a damn thing."

Toru gasped, dramatically clutching her chest. "You heartless bastard!"

Uraraka nodded sagely. "Cold. Truly, men are all the same."

Sero shook his head, grinning. "Damn, he really said, 'not my problem.'"

Yaoyorozu let out a sharp breath, rubbing her temple. "Can we please not turn this into another one of your nonsense discussions?"

Jiro raised an eyebrow. "What, embarrassed?"

Yaoyorozu's jaw tightened slightly. "I simply do not believe this is an appropriate conversation for hero students."

Mina smirked. "Or maybe you just don't wanna admit Ryuu got you flustered."

Kaminari grinned. "Ooooh, I see it now! This is why she never opposes Ryuu… she's been down bad this whole time!"

Yaoyorozu groaned. "I am not down bad."

Toru tilted her head. "Are you sure? Because that slip earlier was-"

Yaoyorozu cut her off. "Irrelevant."

I smirked. "You thinking about me, Yaoyao?"

Her glare could have cut steel. "In your dreams."

I shook my head. "Nah, in my dreams, we are naked."
