MHA: Crystal Clear

The sun was beginning to set as we left the training grounds.

Daichi walked beside me, his usual confident demeanor noticeably dimmed. Losing his fight had clearly hit him harder than he expected. He hadn't said much since his match with Hanabira.

"Tch" he finally muttered, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Who would've thought some flower guy could give me that much trouble?"

I glanced at him. "You underestimated him. That's all it was."

Daichi scowled but didn't argue. He knew I was right.

The next day...

The morning air was crisp as we made our way back to Shiketsu High School.

Six desks were gone.

Yesterday, there had been 18 of us. Today, only 12 desks remained.

Before we could dwell on it further, the door at the front of the class slid open with a loud THUD.

Gang Orca stepped in, his towering figure casting a shadow over us. His cold, piercing gaze swept across the room.

Without hesitation, he spoke.

"Six of your classmates are gone."

He took a step forward.

"The remaining people in this room will be your classmates for the next 3 years, so now we will make introductions." He indicates with a nod to a student in front, to the right, to begin introducing himself.

1. Hayate Surara – "Swift Glide"

The first to step forward was a lean, with a tanned skin, athletic-looking guy with short, dark blue hair and sharp black eyes. His hands in his pockets. He was the guy who stared at everyone the first day.

"Yo, I'm Hayate Surara" he said, stretching his arms. "Quirk's called 'Swift Glide .' Basically, I can skate on any surface—concrete, water, even walls. The faster I go, the harder it is to stop me."

He casually lifted one foot and placed it on the ground. The moment he shifted his weight, he slid effortlessly forward, despite the floor being completely flat.

"Agility, speed, and control—that's what I'm all about."

Daichi let out a low whistle. "Damn, that's sick. So you're basically a human racecar."

Hayate smirked. "Something like that."

2. Tokage Gyu– "Lizard Limbs"

Next up was a boy with slightly green-tinted skin, messy dark green hair, and slitted yellow eyes, he wears glasses. His expression was calm, but there was something unsettling about the way his eyes flicked around the room.

"Tokage Gyu" he said in a measured tone. "My quirk, 'Lizard Limbs' lets me partially transform my body into reptilian parts. Stronger limbs, better flexibility, and enhanced senses."

To demonstrate, he held up his hand, and before our eyes, his fingers elongated into sharp, clawed digits covered in rough green scales.

"I can also regenerate if I lose a limb. So don't get cocky if you think you've taken me out."

Mayu raised an eyebrow. "Creepy, but cool."

Gyu just shrugged. "I hear that a lot."

3. Rento Kinzoku – "Liquid Alloy"

Well-built guy bald and brown eyes stepped up next. His uniform was crisp, and his posture was rigid—disciplined.

"Rento Kinzoku" he said simply. "My quirk, 'Liquid Alloy' lets me generate and control a unique liquid metal from my body. It hardens instantly, allowing me to create weapons, armor, or defenses at will."

Without hesitation, he raised his hand, and a small silver blade formed from his palm, glinting under the classroom lights before retracting back into his skin.

"I specialize in adaptability. Close combat, defense, or counterattacks—I can handle any situation."

Hayate nodded in approval. "Sounds handy. Must be tough as hell to fight against you."

Rento simply replied "That's the idea."

4. Akasuki Kama – "Mimic Touch"

Next was a tall, long straight black-haired girl with a confident stance and piercing crimson eyes. Her expression was unreadable, like she was analyzing everything in the room.

"Akasuki Kama" she said smoothly. "My quirk is 'Mimic Touch.' If I touch any solid material, my hands take on its properties."

To demonstrate, she placed her palm against a metal desk. A second later, her skin turned metallic, reflecting the light like steel.

"It makes me versatile in fights. Defense, offense… depends on what I have around me."

Daichi smirked. "So, what happens if you touch something weird? Like… rubber?"

Akasuki tilted her head. 

Daichi shut up.

5. Daisuke Ryota – "Compact Power"

A short but muscular guy with red hair and sharp eyes stepped forward next. He had an intense, no-nonsense aura about him.

"Daisuke Ryota. My quirk, 'Compact Power' lets me shrink myself down to about any size below mine while increasing my strength and durability."

Without warning, his entire body compressed in an instant, making him nearly half his original height, but his muscles visibly tightened, veins pulsing with raw strength.

"Smaller target, stronger hits. Don't underestimate me just 'cause I'm short."

6. Hanabira Haruki– "Petal Spores"

"I am Hanabira. My quirk, 'Petal Spores' allows me to generate and control flower petals infused with various effects—some paralyzing, some poisonous, some explosive."

He raised his hand, and delicate pink petals floated into the air, swirling around him. The moment he snapped his fingers, they sizzled and vanished.

Daichi frowned. "I won't make the same mistake twice. I know you're more than just 'pretty flowers' now."

Hanabira smiled. "Good. Then you're learning."

7. Chikara Mayu –"Cocoon Strength"

Mayu stepped forward next.

"My quirk? Super strength. That's it. No tricks, no fancy effects.

She flexed her arms, clearly proud.

"That's all I need, really."

8. Me

I stepped forward, keeping my posture relaxed but firm.

"Takashi. My quirk is 'Stone Force.' I can create and manipulate crystal structures at will—barriers, weapons, armor, projectiles, you name it.

And unlike most materials, my crystals are extremely durable. If you think you can break them easily… try me."

The room was silent for a moment.

9. Arashi Daichi-"Storm Breath"

Daichi stepped forward, rolling his shoulders.

"You already know me, but whatever. Daichi. My quirk, 'Storm Breath,' lets me generate and control wind pressure from my mouth. I can make tornados, launch myself forward, and mess with your balance."

To demonstrate, he took a sharp breath and exhaled, sending a small controlled vortex swirling through the air.

10. Kata Jun – "Ghost Step".

"Kata Jun. My quirk is 'Ghost Step.' I can phase through solid objects for short periods of time."

She stepped forward… and right through a desk, emerging on the other side without a sound.

"I prefer avoiding direct fights."

11. Riku Shigenami – "Elastic Surge"

A tall and rather big boy with dark brown hair and closed eyes stepped up. 

"Yo, name's Riku Shigenami. My quirk, 'Elastic Surge,' lets me stretch my body."

He didn't demonstrate his quirk like me and just sat.

12. Mizuhana Sayo – "Water Blossom"

An elegant girl with a square and dark blue hair and gentle black eyes took a step forward. Despite her calm and composed aura, there was a strange intensity behind her gaze.

"My name is Mizuhana Sayo. My quirk, Water Blossom allows me to control and generate water infused with healing properties."

She raised her hand, and a stream of shimmering water swirled around her fingers before forming into a small, floating lotus-like shape.

"I can use my water to heal injuries and fatigue, but don't mistake me for just a medic. I can manipulate the water offensively too by restricting movement."

Sayo simply smiled. "I aim to be versatile."

The introductions were over.
