After all the pairings were set, the meeting came to an end. Meanwhile, Ezaki Kitazawa focused on studying. He didn't want to waste his summer break catching up on boring humanities subjects. With Yaoyorozu Momo tutoring him, he was making decent progress. The high school curriculum in this world was much easier than in his original world. 

Soon, the final exams arrived. After three days of written tests, it was finally time for the practical exam. 

In the central plaza, nearly ten U.A. teachers stood before Ezaki Kitazawa and the others. 

"Next up is the practical exam," Aizawa Shouta announced. "There's no passing score for this exam, but if you want to go to the training camp, try not to make any stupid mistakes." 

"You've probably gathered some intel beforehand and have a rough idea of what the exam will be like," he added. 

Midnight, standing beside him, asked, "It's similar to the entrance exam's robot battle, right?" 

Kaminari Denki confidently replied, "Yeah, I got this info from Class B. Besides, first-year exams have always been the same." 

Just as Kaminari finished speaking, the principal emerged from the scarf wrapped around Aizawa's neck. 

"Unfortunately, due to various reasons, we're changing the exam format this time," the principal explained. 

"The principal? What's he doing here?" 

"Changing the format?" 

"So... we're not fighting robots this time?" 

"No way..." 

Kaminari's face darkened. "I have a bad feeling about this." 

Jiro mumbled, "To prepare you for future combat situations, we're shifting the focus to more realistic battles. That's why, from now on, you'll be paired up in teams of two to fight against one of the teachers present." 

Everyone's expressions stiffened at the announcement. 

"Also, unlike before, pairings won't be decided by drawing lots. We, the teachers, have already decided them in advance," the principal continued. 

"Now, let's announce the pairings. First, Ezaki Kitazawa and Midoriya Izuku. Your opponent will be... All Might." 

Aizawa Shouta stated. 

"My teammate is Ezaki-kun?" 

Midoriya Izuku mumbled, looking over at Ezaki Kitazawa. 

"Our opponent is... All Might?" 

Ezaki Kitazawa muttered, a small smile appearing on his face. He was suddenly very interested. 

"Next, Yaoyorozu Momo and Todoroki Shoto. Your opponent will be me," Aizawa Shouta said with a grin. 

After announcing the second pair, he sped through the rest. In less than a minute, all the matchups were revealed. 

"Finally, here are the exam rules," the principal said in a slow and steady tone. "The exam lasts 30 minutes. Your goal is to either put these handcuffs on the teacher or have one teammate escape the battlefield. If you achieve either, you win." 

"This will be as close to a real battle as possible, so treat us as actual enemies."

Thirteen spoke up, "If we really run into an enemy, winning on the spot would be ideal. But if there's a huge gap in strength, the smartest thing to do is escape immediately and call for backup." 

Another teacher followed up, "Of course, that's what we say, but if Ezaki Kitazawa really treats them as enemies and fights them seriously, then this battle will be something completely different. But don't worry, the school had the support department make something for us." 

As he spoke, Aizawa Shouta took out something similar to Amajiki's hand. It was a highly compressed weighted item. The teachers would wear gear that was half their body weight as a way to level the playing field for the students. "Alright, we've prepared exam sites for all teams. Since our situation is a bit special, let's have Ezaki Kitazawa's team go first." 

Aizawa Shouta's words made it clear that Ezaki Kitazawa's team was ranked lower in the lineup. All Might, worried that he might not be able to maintain his muscle form later, decided to have their match first. Even though Ezaki Kitazawa had treated All Might, and his muscle form was lasting longer, the school still wanted to be cautious and let All Might fight in the first round. 

"As for those who haven't had their turn yet, you can either watch the exam or discuss battle strategies with your teammates. It's up to you." 

"Understood!" the group responded. 

Ezaki Kitazawa and Midoriya Izuku then headed to the battlefield. 

"Ezaki-kun? Should we come up with a battle plan? After all, we're up against All Might," Midoriya Izuku asked curiously. 

"Exactly because it's All Might, there's no point in making a plan. The gap in strength is just too big," Ezaki Kitazawa said slowly. 

"That... makes sense. If the gap is too big, no strategy will work. Even though they're wearing those weighted items, we still have no chance of winning. I mean, All Might is the number one pro hero," Midoriya Izuku swallowed nervously. 

Before the exam even started, it felt like the outcome was already decided. But Ezaki Kitazawa just smiled. 

"I'll hold him off. You just focus on running out of the exam site," he said. 

"You... can hold him off?" Midoriya Izuku asked in doubt. 

Ezaki Kitazawa shook his head. "Who knows? But I think I can manage for a little while." 

As they spoke, they stepped into the battlefield. 

But from the moment they entered, they hadn't seen All Might anywhere. 

"Did All Might forget about this?" Midoriya Izuku muttered. 

"Who knows? I remember Aizawa Shouta-sensei saying that the exam starts the moment we step in, right?" Ezaki Kitazawa asked. 

"Yeah," Midoriya Izuku nodded. 

"Then we should run while he's not here. Maybe we can escape before he shows up," Ezaki Kitazawa said before taking off at full speed. 

Midoriya Izuku quickly followed. 

But just as they had taken a few hundred steps, a powerful gust of wind surged toward them from behind.
