Chapter 183: The Girl and the Sculpture (Part 2)
"Through these days of interaction, I've come to understand you a bit, and it seems I'm not so averse to you anymore." Inor told Tilan at their departure.
"If you're really planning to accomplish something monumental, to rearrange the Federation, I think I would stand with you."
"To sing such soothing and moving ballads, even I yearn for your Fairy Song, you must hold a beautiful ideal world in your heart."
"I hope you can always keep this innocence and not be tainted by the world, this is my blessing to you~" Inor closed her eyes, hands clasped in prayer, and then faintly green star speckles began to float in the forest.
"Chui Yue, the forest, the earth, all the walking and flying living beings, bless the girl before us, let her be as pure and transparent as morning dew, and never lose her way in a world full of entwining vines and tripping roots."
A breeze carrying cool dew brushed past the girl's side, some droplets landing on her, bringing a refreshing sensation.
Is such a blessing really effective? Tilan, though not very believing, did not reject it, as it was well-meaning after all.
After saying goodbye, she departed and headed to the Star Domain where the next Songstress resided.
'Stone Blue Flower' Greer currently dwells mostly in the Windra Star Domain. The population is sparse here, and its terrain stands out, the entire planet's surface resembling a solidified Sea of Plaster, filled with peculiar limestone formations, naturally forming magnificent patterns, breathtaking when viewed from the sky.
This time, Tilan didn't encounter any obstacles. She soon met Greer sitting grandly in a large pit exhibit hall, currently working as a sculpture model, allowing the surrounding plaster artists to create.
After the modeling work, the two dined at a cliffside restaurant nearby. The small restaurant rooms offered a view of the endless Sea of Plaster through their windows, with the restaurant itself perched hundreds of meters under a cliff, offering stunning scenery.
Slowly enjoying lunch, Greer listened quietly to Tilan's story and introduction, not speaking until Tilan finished with some helplessness, then she slowly spoke.
"There's no need to persuade me with grand theories, I won't oppose your ideas. If you want me to join in lending my voice, I can agree, but I don't want to do much more."
She is not interested in political matters, or rather, Greer is an extraordinarily dispassionate Songstress, even having a faint indifference towards her own life.
To someone like this, Tilan felt like she was dealing with cotton, which suddenly made her realize something—this world is not so full of limitations and constraints, meaning people living with all sorts of thoughts exist, not everyone must be fixated on current events with great resentment. They are merely living their small yet unique lives.
"I understand." At this point, Tilan didn't say more.
Afterwards, she stayed here for another week, experiencing Greer's seemingly mundane yet somewhat busy life. During this time, she was also invited to pose as a plaster model twice, resulting in two works created by local artists from her earlier likeness.
"This one is the 'Gray Moon Angel Angelia', and the other is the 'Moon-Gazing Girl, Hesia.'" The staff provisionally named the two works.
The Gray Moon Angel Angelia is uncolored, entirely in a gray mold status, depicting a girl cradling a hollow moon, with a pair of surrounding wings extending from her posterior waist. Both the wings and the girl's form are quite slender, emphasized by the girl's long hair cascading down to her waist. The girl's eyes and lashes are lowered, gazing at the hollow moon in her arms with a hint of nostalgia, yet carrying a trace of loneliness and sadness, imparting a sense of faint regret.
The other sculpture is of a girl gazing skyward, her form slightly arched backward, combined with the thin black ribbon nightdress on her body, exuding a sense of purity and allure. One hand slightly lifted as if holding something, perhaps reaching for the bright moon in the sky, while the other hand slightly extends naturally backward, feet and arches slightly poised to showcase the girl's beautiful leg lines.
Without a doubt, this place is worthy of being a gathering spot for artists. These seasoned and sharp-eyed Masters immediately perceived the unique traits and exquisite beauty of Tilan's physique and earnestly showcased this aesthetic in the sculptures.
'Even I can't help but applaud, these guys are impressive. I always had some vague ideas but could never catch hold of them; indeed, these youthful, pure, slender, beautiful images are your core.' The voice of her sister rang in the girl's mind.
'Why aren't you still asleep?' Tilan blushed and sulked a little, wondering why this one suddenly woke up at this moment.
'Of course, it's to see my adorable little sister.' Temisia's voice was filled with teasing.
'Having met such expert Masters, if I'm ever free to move in the future, I'll definitely find a few more here to paint and sculpt for you.'
'Sounds a bit creepy.' Tilan mentally retorted.
Looking at the two sculptures as tall as herself, Tilan felt a bit of a strange sensation, as if she had been thoroughly seen through. This unguarded feeling made her feel a wave of embarrassment and bashfulness, especially since the sculptures depicted her form too meticulously, even with a touch of allure.
