MMORPG : Rebirth Of The Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 1016: Learning New Moves

( The universal warehouse )

As Max walked back inside the universal warehouse he was surprised to see both Kartikeya and Kremeth being inside studying skill scrolls together.

For a moment as he entered, the two kids felt slightly startled to see him, but soon the shock was replaced by joy as the kids greeted him with enthusiasm.

" Uncle-"

" Father-"

Both of them said as Max showed a rare smile and nodded towards the kids.

This nod was not just because he saw them after a long time, but it was also because Max could see the growth that the two kids had undergone in the last two and a half years.

Kremeth was finally a tier6 god and judging by his level Max could notice that it had not been more than 1-2 months since he ascended as his level was at the very beginning stages of tier6.

This was a big improvement from their trip together and it reflected in his temperament as well as Max could see it within his eyes that he was a more confident and strong man compared to before.

Kartikeya's growth was also impressive as he had somehow managed to leave his elder brother Jake behind and reach tier7 before him, becoming the clear strongest in the younger generation.

Max always had high hopes from that kid and it seemed like he was finally starting to achieve his true potential.

While Kremeth was inside the universal warehouse because he wanted to learn some of the best techniques utilising divine essence, Kartikeya was studying more powerful tier7 attacks that were focused towards damage maximisation as Max could not help but chuckle internally at their choices.

Despite their growth, their base nature remained predictable but Max found it to be endearing.

" Keep working hard…" he said as after a brief pat to the head of the kids he walked into the forbidden section of the universal warehouse where Rudra had stored some of the most dangerous techniques that were unfit for the learning of the kids.

In a way, because of the Rajput Capital and the resources available to them, Kremeth and the next generation of Rajput's were bound to be a cut above the average warrior as while most tier6 and 7 god's had to struggle to obtain quality moves and resources, the Rajput's could simply select from a pool of the universe's best abilities.

It was a privilege that Rudra and Max after him had fought hard for and it was the next generation who reaped the benefits as a result.

**********

( Max's POV )

After entering the forbidden section, Max took a look at all the skills that were deemed too dangerous to learn for the kids and on the very top of that list, was the move that was once offered to him as a tier promotion choice that he regretted never choosing.

The move was called [ Constant Teleportation ] and it was a move that consumed an incredible amount of divine essence, however, it made the need for physical movement completely redundant in battle.

It was arguably the ultimate spatial move which allowed its user to teleport to any location he wished for within a five mile radius and the user could do it infinitely and instantaneously with minimal restrictions.

The only downside of the move was the drain it caused to one's divine essence reserves and the strain it caused to one's physical body as the whiplash of constant teleportation was not something that every warrior could withstand.

However, for Max with his massive divine essence pool and an energy body, these concerns were not applicable as [ Constant Teleportation ] was one such move that Max absolutely had to learn.

" Queen, Transfer the knowledge of this skill to my brain" Max ordered as instead of learning the skill himself, Max wanted it to be imparted to him like a reward so that time would not be wasted in him trying to study and learn it.

The queen, being his loyal servant obliged and within seconds, the knowledge of constant teleportation was imparted to Max.

Ofcourse, the mastery of the move was only at ( Basic ) yet and needed Max to practise to perfect, but it was one more move now added to Max's vast arsenal.

The next move that Max picked to learn from the Universal Warehouse was a shocking restriction move that was impossible to evade.

[ Ultimate Sacrifice ] - It was a move that reduced the casters HP to 0, but in return it guaranteed to immobilise an enemy for 5 seconds in what could be considered the greatest Equaliser.

It was a strategic move that was suicidal in nature, however, for Max who had the clone, it was a move that could be used in dire circumstances to completely change the tide of battle against the perfect warrior.

While the clone's HP hitting 0 would not affect him, it could grant him a rare opportunity to attack a defenceless perfect warrior in what could prove to be a game-changing moment in their eventual fight.

While it was not the best move, it was a move Max learnt because his greed went beyond just defeating the perfect warrior, as in his mind not only did he want to defeat the perfect warrior but also devour his soul if possible.

[ Summon Hell's Champion ] - A dark and forbidden move that needed the sacrifice of 10 million innocent souls to summon a single Hell's Champion, a dark being holding peak tier8 power, capable of turning the controlled universe upside down.

Summoned only once in the history of the universe during the first chaos era war, it was a lost art whose only record was now within the universal warehouse.

Learning this move was a controversial decision as while the benefits it's provided were obvious, the price one had to pay to use it once was too steep.

On one hand, the seed of destruction prompted Max to learn it since the value of 10 million souls was nothing compared to defeating the perfect warrior, however, on the other hand Max's own moral compass told him that to do so would be wrong.

Finally, Max decided to pass on this particular move as despite its promise, Max did not wish for his victory to come at the cost of innocent lives.
