Mobile Suit Wars: Starting with Gundam OO

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Iconic Actions

When Yang Hui arrived above the mission site, the second mission was nearing its end. The forces of the Human Reform League were retreating one after another, the frontline supply base had been destroyed, and even the last attempt to pursue the Human Reform League troops, the "Long Nose," was cut in half by Gundam Exia.

"Shh~ not bad at all," Yang Hui whistled in praise.

"That voice! Myer?"

"Myer is here too?"

Since the public channel was open, the three naturally knew of Myer's arrival.

"Yeah, you guys were fighting my little ones, of course, I had to come take a look," Myer joked.

"Hehe, then I really apologize," the Dylandy Brothers teased.

"It's fine, looking at them, they haven't made much progress since I left. They deserve to get beaten."

"Hehe, Myer, don't you feel guilty saying that?" Lyle complained.

Setsuna and Neil were fine, as they were a duo, and the enhanced Gundam was still hard to shake in front of the Iron Man variant and the Long Nose. However, Lyle's experience at the supply base left him feeling uncomfortable.

The self-propelled air defense module and the air defense Iron Man, among other standard defensive facilities at the supply base, left numerous small dents on Gundam Cherudim's armor. Although they couldn't penetrate it, they still suppressed Gundam Cherudim's firepower to some extent. In the end, it was destroyed, but it caused quite a bit of trouble.

"You deserved it! Who told you to underestimate them? Let's go, it's time to retreat."

"Received."

The three Gundams took off, heading towards the designated evacuation route, while Yang Hui's Gundam Rasiel headed in another direction.

"Hey? Myer, aren't you coming with us?" Neil asked.

"Nope."

"That's a pity."

"There will be opportunities in the future. Go back and do a proper review. Neil, you're the older brother, so it's up to you to teach your little brother a lesson."

"Wait! Myer, I just..."

"Received! I will definitely teach him a good lesson, hehe."

"Neil!"

As the distance between them grew, the communication on the public channel was cut off. Myer set the auto-return for Gundam Rasiel and stopped controlling it.

"This time, Setsuna is going with the Dylandy Brothers, so he shouldn't run into Graham again, right? Tsk tsk, that battle maniac is probably going to be disappointed this time."

Just as she thought this, an alarm sounded on the radar.

"Hmm? An enemy aircraft approaching? Let me see... it's still a Flag! What are the odds that I'd run into him?"

At this moment, in this position, it was still a Flag, and it was easy to guess it was Graham. However, Yang Hui was not worried at all. Even without the Gundam, she could take him on; with the Gundam, it would just be a matter of pinning him down... no, more like rubbing him against the sea?

"Hehe, Graham, I've been wanting to take you down for a while now, just in time to give you a beating!"

As the words fell, Gundam Rasiel had already locked onto the rapidly approaching Flag. Pulling the joystick, GN Particles filled the air like snowflakes, beautifully shimmering with dazzling dreamlike lights, and Gundam Rasiel accelerated its charge.

...

"Hmm? Coming straight at me? Fine, let me see your spirit! Gundam!"

Graham was not flustered; instead, he grew more excited. He transformed into MS mode in mid-air, firing his Linear Rifle in quick succession, blue high-speed bullets shooting out.

But the next second, Graham completely forgot about controlling the Flag because...

Several pink beams sliced through the air, each one hitting the shells fired from the Linear Rifle.

"This shooting level! Not bad, Gundam, but... how about this?"

The Flag transformed again in mid-air, MA mode spinning around, directly circling behind Gundam Rasiel. The Linear Rifle aimed at Gundam Rasiel's back while the plasma sword swung down towards it.

But this was useless against Gundam Rasiel, no, it should be against Yang Hui.

Gundam Rasiel suddenly performed a backflip in mid-air, narrowly dodging the shells and the plasma sword. The two swapped positions, with Gundam Rasiel now behind the Flag.

"What!?" Graham was astonished by this extreme maneuver, but before he could turn around, two beams shot out, directly penetrating the Flag's arms, severing the forearms, and the Flag lost its combat capability.

"This move..." Graham looked at the Gundam Rasiel floating in front of him, feeling a vague sense of familiarity, but he just couldn't recall who it was.

But the next second, he knew, and he became extremely agitated.

Watching Gundam Rasiel suddenly tuck the GN Submachine Gun into its waist, raise its hand into a fist, and extend the longest finger, the Gundam's face, which should have shown no change, revealed a mocking smile in Graham's eyes as if it were taunting him.

"You bastard!" This roar was almost instinctive, without any thought.

Shooting with pinpoint accuracy, extreme rolling maneuvers, and the final middle finger... there was no one else but Yang Hui, right?

Yang Hui had no intention of communicating with Graham. She wiggled her middle finger and sped away, leaving the Flag behind in a fit of impotent rage.

"This bastard! Even you joined in? ... No, it would be abnormal if you didn't join, right? Hehe, interesting, this is getting more and more interesting." Graham slowly landed the Flag on the sea, waiting for rescue, his face wearing an increasingly excited smile, showing no signs of disappointment from his defeat.

...

"That guy should know it's me now, right? Hehe, don't be too jealous, Graham." With this thought, Myer flew towards Wang Liu Mei's private island and soon returned to the hangar.

"Welcome back, Mr. Yang." Wang Liu Mei had been waiting for him in the hangar. "Was the mission completed?"

"Perfectly completed. The Human Reform League's MS hasn't changed much since I left," Yang Hui said, wearing a look of disdain as if saying, "My little ones are really useless."

"That's exactly why our mission went so smoothly, isn't it?" Wang Liu Mei covered her mouth and smiled.

"I know that, but... huh? That's not right. Based on my understanding of those old men, it shouldn't be like this." Yang Hui suddenly thought of something, and her expression grew serious.

"You mean..."

"Can we contact Ptolemaios from here?" Yang Hui asked.

"Yes."

"Immediately contact Toramie, I want to talk to Sumeragi."

"Understood."

The communication room was quickly arranged, and Yang Hui naturally didn't push Wang Liu Mei aside, starting the conversation with Sumeragi.

But as soon as the screen connected, Yang Hui sensed something was off because Sumeragi's smile was too...

"Ah, my busy person, what made you think of contacting me?"

"Ahem... I just got back from supervising them completing the mission and contacted you right away. Look, I didn't even have time to change out of my pilot suit. I missed you so much." Yang Hui's survival instinct told her to flatter quickly, or she would definitely be in trouble!

"Is that so? Are you sure it's not because you're cohabiting with a little girl and have become infatuated?"

"Pfft~ cough cough..." Yang Hui almost choked, turning to look at Wang Liu Mei, who was responding to her with a sunny, cute smile, as if she had found the source of the problem.

After giving her a fierce glare, Yang Hui quickly explained, "You've always known I'm not interested in underdeveloped little girls, right?"

"Crack~"

Wang Liu Mei behind her still maintained her smile, but a "#"-shaped vein appeared on her forehead, and a crack formed on the PAD in her hand.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, yes!"

"Hmph, you're honest. Now, tell me, what do you need from me?" Sumeragi wouldn't believe Yang Hui initiated the long-distance communication just because she missed her. Both of them were not the type to be blinded by love; they knew when to do what. Initiating such a costly long-distance communication must be for something important.

Then, Yang Hui told Sumeragi about the situations encountered during today's mission.

After listening, Sumeragi pondered for a moment and asked, "So you think this mission was just bait thrown out by the Human Reform League, and the next mission will definitely face obstacles?"

"There might not be major troubles, but I definitely don't want it to be as easy as it is now." Yang Hui nodded seriously.

Yang Hui was all too familiar with the capabilities of those old men in the Academy of Sciences. Although the materials she left behind couldn't all be completed, finishing about sixty to seventy percent was absolutely no problem. When she left back then, she heard Sergei say that the test machine for "Into the Array" had already been offline. Although she didn't know the test results, if there were no major issues, it should have been mass-produced and deployed by now. Why, four years later, was it still Iron Man-style?

Moreover, there wasn't a single piece of intelligence from VEDA or Celestial Being about the Human Reform League deploying new MS?

There were only two possibilities: one was that the test machine for "Into the Array" had failed, and the research had not been fully completed; the other was that those old foxes had hidden it very well to achieve some purpose.

"Well, I understand. It seems we need to rework the plan for the third mission. I will immediately use VEDA for calculations and analysis. You be careful over there too."

"Yeah, you be careful too."

Just as they were about to end the communication, Wang Liu Mei replaced Yang Hui's position and said, "Mr. Yang, could you please step out for a moment? I have special intelligence to inform Ms. Huang."

Upon hearing this, both Yang Hui and Sumeragi showed puzzled expressions. What kind of special intelligence required even Yang Hui, the second-in-command of Celestial Being, to step out?

However, Sumeragi quickly understood and said to Yang Hui, "You go ahead. Wang Liu Mei and I have something to discuss."

"But..."

"Hurry up and get out! Resources don't grow on trees! When did you start eavesdropping on women's private conversations!?"

Although Yang Hui didn't know why Sumeragi suddenly exploded, at this moment, she chose to obediently slip away, as it didn't seem to be related to the plan. It was better for her to leave first.

Once Yang Hui confirmed she had left, the smiles on the faces of the two women disappeared simultaneously. There was a great distance between them, but through the screen, sparks flew in their gazes.

"Ms. Huang, I want to have a serious talk with you about Mr. Yang," Wang Liu Mei took the lead.

"We indeed need to have a good chat."
