"Klee! Sanji! Let go!"

Fully aware of the power gap, Sherwin didn't hold back and took the initiative to attack Chinjao.

He opened with two flying slashes as a greeting, while at the same time, Klee Meow tossed a few Boom-Boom Bombs to cut off Chinjao escape routes.

Taking advantage of that moment, Sherwin closed the distance and launched a powerful circular slash imbued with Armament Haki straight at Chinjao.

Not to be outdone, Chinjao swung his pitch-black arms forward with a devastating Hasshoken punch.

"Urgh!"

Faced with the sheer force behind the strike, Sherwin gripped the Longsword tightly with both hands and used every ounce of his strength to barely withstand it. Even so, he was pushed back a few meters, his feet gouging two deep furrows in the ground.

Even though Chinjao strength had declined since his head was flattened, his raw power and Armament Haki were still leagues above Sherwin current level. And this wasn't even high-level Haki—just basic hardening and the inherent penetrating force of Hasshoken.

In this situation, Sherwin had no reason to conserve stamina—he activated demon mode without hesitation.

Monster Hunter Style: Demon Flurry!

Dark slashes from the Longsword in Sherwin hands tore through the air, storming toward Chinjao with the speed and violence of thunder and lightning.

"Hahahahaha! That the spirit!"

Chinjao laughed heartily, swinging both arms as he clashed head-on with Sherwin flurry of blade-light.

Amidst a flurry of metallic clangs that sounded nothing like the clash of flesh and steel, Chinjao arms suddenly trembled, sending a shockwave through Sherwin, who was still unleashing a flurry of blade slashes. Sherwin staggered, thrown off balance—just as Chinjao body suddenly arched back…

"Hasshoken: Iron Head!"

Sherwin wasn't sure whether to be happy or disappointed. Even after activating demon mode, it had still taken him this long to finally force out Chinjao specialty—the infamous iron head technique.

Naturally, he wouldn't dare try to block it head-on. Without hesitation, he activated the Hunter ultimate art—dodge roll, narrowly evading the iron head strike.

"Sherwin-bro, dodge quickly! Klee gonna throw a bomb, meow!"

Up to this point, Sherwin and Chinjao had been locked in close combat with no opening, leaving the two little Felynes unable to find a chance to strike. But now, seeing Sherwin rolling away, the little plushie who had been holding back could finally act. She immediately pulled out her pride and joy—

"Boom Boom Bomb!"

"Again?!"

Chinjao had just pulled his head out of the ground when he saw a familiar big "dumpling" bouncing its way toward him. Forget chasing after Sherwin—he leapt backward at full speed.

But that was exactly what the Felynes had been waiting for...

"Don't think you're getting away that easy, meow!"

Sanji Meow dashed after the slowly bouncing Boom Boom Bomb, slid beneath it, and kicked it hard in Chinjao direction just as he was mid-air.

"Aerial Bomb SHOOT, meow!"

The adorable Boom Boom Bomb rocketed toward Chinjao, catching up with him mid-leap. As he stared at it with panic in his eyes, the bomb suddenly began to expand rapidly.

"BOOM—!"

And of course, once the Boom Boom Bomb exploded, several enhanced Boom Booms popped out from within to deliver a second wave of blasts...

"Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom——!"

Sherwin kept his eyes locked on the firelight above, his Observation Haki never relaxing for a second.

After all, Chinjao had previously taken a direct hit from a Bouncy Bomb and survived. Sherwin didn't believe he could be dealt with that easily.

Sure enough, the aura within the flames hadn't weakened—it had suddenly grown even stronger.

"Klee Meow! Dodge, now!" Sherwin shouted urgently.

At the same time, Chinjao bellow roared from the sky: "Headless Dragon: Headless Spike!"

Chinjao, with his head scorched pitch-black, was like a giant missile, crashing down toward Klee Meow at the rear of the group.

Clearly, Chinjao had figured out exactly who—or which cat—posed the greatest threat to him.

Of course, Klee Meow was so adorable, always calling him "Grandpa Chinjao" in that sweet voice all day long. There was no way Chinjao would truly harm her. So while the move looked fierce, he had already left Klee Meow enough time to dodge. His real intent was just to use the shockwave from the impact to temporarily force her out of the battle.

"Fire Style: Multi Fire Clone Jutsu Meow!"

Klee Meow pressed her two little paws together in front of her chest, and her body instantly burst into over a dozen fireballs, shooting out in all directions. Not only did she avoid Chinjao attack, but when the fireballs hit the ground, they each transformed into a Klee Meow made entirely of flame, surrounding the landed Chinjao.

Then, the dozen-plus flame Klee Meows all raised their paws and shouted in unison: "Kaboom Sparkle Meow!"

In an instant, over a dozen flaming four-leaf clovers appeared in mid-air. From the center of each clover, a fire beam launched, shooting straight toward the surrounded Chinjao.

"A Logia?!"

Chinjao was stunned. He had heard Sherwin mention that he gave Klee Meow a Devil Fruit, but he never imagined it would be a Logia-type…

After all, that was a Logia-type! You didn't eat it yourself and gave it to a cat?!

Still, shock was one thing—Chinjao wasn't about to just stand there like a fool and let Klee Meow use him for target practice. While dodging the beams of flame, he quickly used Observation Haki to lock onto Klee Meow real body, then lunged straight at her.

"Old man, did you forget about me?!"

Sherwin suddenly rushed in from the side, still in his sheathed-blade stance.

Monster Hunter Style: Divine Sheath Draw!

A brilliant arc of light slashed through the air, slicing directly toward Chinjao.

"Hrah!"

Chinjao raised both palms and clamped down hard on Sherwin blade—but doing so left him wide open, and he was hit dead-on by Klee Meow fire beam.

"Aaaaahhh! It burning me to death!"

Armament Haki was indeed one of the most effective ways to deal with Devil Fruit powers, but it didn't nullify the abilities—it merely counteracted them. So even with his whole body coated in Armament Haki, Chinjao was still scorched enough to cry out from Klee Meow flames.

"You little brats! If you're going to push me, I'll get serious now!"

With that warning, a powerful surge of Conqueror Haki burst out from Chinjao body.

Klee Meow was so startled that her ultimate move and all her clones vanished instantly, while Sanji Meow, who was just about to launch his attack, came to a screeching halt mid-charge.

Only Sherwin remained completely unaffected.

He suddenly pulled back his Longsword, then leapt high into the air...
