One hour and thirteen minutes later, the core began to slow down once more.

It had absorbed a massive amount of energy, as always, but the type of energy it had absorbed is a little surprising.

Like the resources, I could see the type of energy my core had consumed. I thought it would be energies that aid in strengthening, but this time, it had absorbed the energies of power.

It is a 1.5% increase from the last time. It might not seem like much, but it is.

Most people don't like to see such data when they are breaking through. It makes them nervous, but it calms me down.

I like to see it, and during every forging of breakthrough formation, I design it more and more advanced.

My core had slowed down fully, and it made me serious as soon as the most dangerous process of the breakthrough would start.

It is where 75% of my breakthrough danger. If I passed, then there is over an 80% chance that the consolidation would go smoothly.

Seconds passed while I took deep breaths to calm myself.

Finally, at the seventeenth second, it had begun. At first, I felt warm, but soon came pain. In the first few seconds, I had barely felt it, but as seconds passed, it kept increasing.

Soon, it increased enough that I could not maintain the calm expressions on my face.

A minute after that, I was gritting my teeth to bear the pain. I have a very high tolerance for pain, but this process gives me the worst of all.

It always takes me to my limit. It happens, no matter the preparations I make.

Finally, the pain had reached a high enough level, and I screamed loudly. It feels like my soul is getting torn apart.

Something like that is happening.

It is painful than the last and becoming more painful, but it is just the pain, especially when I saw the graph in front of me.

If others making a breakthrough were to see it. They would be scared out of their lives, but to me, it is very good news. It means things are in a safe range.

Though I could see it is spiking, reaching near the dangerous zone now and then, making me scared, but I bear it, just like I am bearing this massive pain.

It continued increasing for sixteen and a half minutes before finally beginning to reduce.

"One more," I said when I could finally speak.

I survived the merge, and now only consolidation remained. I am not as scared as I was for the merge, but I am still nervous. I know how things could become worse.

It had happened a few times.

The data, which I had collected and used to make the process safer. It helped, but it is still dangerous.

At the thirteenth second, the last stage of the consolidation had begun. Within a moment, a thin layer of colourful solid appeared in the semi-liquid core, before it started to spread deeper.

I watched every moment carefully. Not that I could do anything if something went wrong, but still.

Time passed, and more and more solidified, bringing beautiful colours and depth. For three minutes and twenty-one seconds, everything was smooth until it slowed down.

I looked at the changes in the graft, and it couldn't help but worry me.

I took deep breaths to calm myself, but the slowing of consolidation scared me. If kept slowing down at such speed, the consolidation would stop within seconds.

A second passed, and then another, and it nearly stopped when it had picked up a pace again.

I watched with bated breath and a couple of seconds later, took a sigh of relief. It had really scared me, a second more and the consolidation would have stopped.

Once it had stopped, it would have been very hard to start again.

Still, the process isn't over. It could happen again.

I had just thought that when I felt it slow down. It slowed down, but only for three and a half seconds, before picking up the pace once more.

In the next few minutes, it happened several more times. Every time, it made my heart skip a beat, till twenty-three minutes and seventeen seconds passed.

My core finally finished.

I looked at it, more beautiful than before, and lifelike. Every breakthrough makes it more like the real world.

It isn't just by the form, but also by the functions.

It already feels and functions almost like the real world, which made me wonder what changes might appear in it when I make a breakthrough into the Prime.

I know what changes appear when the core advances to Prime, but things are different when it comes to me, and I know changes will be different as well.

Buzz!

My thoughts were interrupted by the buzz of my phone. The next moment, the core sent the floor of breakthrough energy into my body and soul through the runes.

It is massive, almost overwhelming, but my core is a hungry earth that hadn't received nourishment for eons.

It immediately begins to absorb the energy as it touches it. The overwhelming amount is nothing in front of its hunger, which wants to eat everything that comes its way.

It is not just the massive amount of energy, but also a very powerful one.

It began to increase my strength rapidly.

I watched with shining eyes as, every second, my strength reached higher and higher.

Minutes passed, and soon, nine minutes passed, and I had reached the strength I had predicted for this level. The energy is still coming, like there is no end to it.

I am just happy seeing it and understand that even if it went above my estimation, the inheritance I designed will be able to handle it easily.

There are very powerful formations there, nearly half of which are made of the ancient runes.

Finally, the flood ended, and the last drop of which was absorbed by my body, before it calmed down—letting me feel the strength of the god.
