Time passed quickly. Naruto had already returned with the gift for Hinata and continued taking part in the Chunin Exams. Meanwhile, Zabuza and Haku stayed behind, working on Yang Tao's world. 

At the moment, the three of them were lounging on chairs, sunbathing and relaxing. 

Yang Tao took a sip of juice from the cup next to him. "Zabuza, Haku, if I were to give you a Pokémon, which one would you want?" 

Zabuza and Haku weren't familiar with Pokémon, so they didn't know what to choose. 

Suddenly, Haku pointed to the sky and said, "Master, can I pick that one?" 

Yang Tao followed Haku's gaze and saw a massive, fiery Pokémon flying overhead. 

It was a Level 100 Ho-Oh! 

Next to Yang Tao, a Bellossom that had evolved using a Sun Stone—only Level 36—lowered its head in shame. 

"Hmm, sure, but you'll have to wait a bit!" Yang Tao didn't have the heart to admit he couldn't defeat it. 

Haku, understanding the situation, didn't ask further. 

The three of them continued to enjoy the sunshine. 

Meanwhile, back home, Naruto was playing with a Poké Ball in his hand. 

Kushina noticed his thoughtful expression and walked over. "What's wrong, Naruto? What are you thinking about?" 

Naruto was startled by the sudden voice. When he turned around, he saw his mother standing behind him. He had no idea when she got there. 

"Mom, it's nothing. I was just thinking about the exam and what I should do." 

Seeing the uncertainty in Naruto's eyes, Kushina wrapped her arms around him. "As long as you're happy, just do what feels right. Don't forget—you have Mom and Dad now." 

Naruto felt warmth in his heart. *My parents are finally back with me.* 

At that moment, Kushina noticed the red-and-white ball in Naruto's hand and curiously asked, "What's this, Naruto?" 

Naruto suddenly felt embarrassed. "This is a gift my big brother picked out for me." 

Seeing Naruto's reaction, which was completely different from usual, Kushina immediately caught on. With a teasing smile, she asked, "Oh? And who is this gift for? Tell me!" 

Naruto's face turned bright red. Normally carefree, he was now fidgeting like a child caught in an early crush. 

After all, he was only 13. Being questioned by his mother made him even more nervous. 

"It's… for a classmate. Her name is Hina...ta. Hyuga Hinata..." His voice got quieter and quieter. If Kushina didn't have the sharp hearing of a Jonin, she wouldn't have caught the last part at all. 

Hearing that her son had someone he liked, Kushina was delighted. The feeling of a "cabbage being taken by a pig" and a "pig getting a cabbage" were two very different things. 

*Hyuga Hinata?* Kushina recalled that back when she was pregnant, Hyuga Hiashi's wife had also been expecting. If that was the case, then Hinata was likely Hiashi's daughter. 

"Naru~to, what exactly is this gift? You can't give weird things when courting a girl, or she might not like it!"

Naruto agreed without hesitation. "No problem! Come on out!" He pressed the button in the center of the Poké Ball and threw it. 

The Poké Ball opened in midair, releasing a flash of red light. A proud and majestic Growlithe appeared before them. 

"So cute!" Kushina's eyes sparkled as she looked at Growlithe, reaching out to hug it. 

But Growlithe swiftly dodged, rolling its eyes at Kushina before running to Naruto's side. 

Kushina stood frozen in place. She had just been ignored by a little dog.
