The sudden bright light blinded Elfman for a few seconds and when he opened his eyes, he found that his two friends had drastically changed.

Ash and Agni both stood taller than Elfman with wide wings on their back showing that they can now have no enemies that can escape into the sky.

Ash had a darker coloured hue, and his flames sometimes gave out a few wisps of dark blue colour. His muscles seemed to be more strengthened, different from the skinnier form of the usual Charizard. He seemed to give out a rough wild feeling of pure strength and destruction. His gaze seemed like he was holding in the pure unaltered might of a dragon that once ruled the skies.

Agni at the time had a total of three horns, one more than what Ash had although shorter than the other two she had on the side. Her colour seemed to be a bit lighter and her wingspan a bit longer than what Ash had. She seemed to be giving out an aura of grace and calmness although it still had a bit of sharpness hidden within.

"Damn, you guys can evolve again" Elfman asked wide eyed and received an acknowledging grunt from both of them before they suddenly disappeared leaving strong gusts of wind that knocked him back a few feet.

"So Strong" he said with his eyes wide open.

 By that time, the other girls came to the top floor to find out Elfman looking to the horizon.

"Where are they?" Ultear asked.

"Wait for it" Elfman said.

Suddenly a big purple explosion happened in a distance from the tower. Elfman was able to see that the aftereffects of the explosion did not reach the ground nor hit anyone who would have been standing there. Therefore, the people on the town must be safe. And looking at it now, the explosion happened in a higher layer than what Jeff was flying before. He can easily deduce that the dragons had pulled him towards the sky and made him forcefully explode.

"That's a Dark mana explosion" Ultear turned towards Elfman "What the hell happened and where are the other two."

As soon as she finished asking the question a gust of wind came and immediately both of the Charizards appeared before them.

Ash had an expression of dissatisfaction while Agni had her head raised high.

For a moment Ultear was not able to speak anything as she recognised the both of them even though they have changed a lot.

After taking care of everything.

"So, you guys evolved again?" Lucy asked wide eyed at the two dragons who now had wings.

"I'm pretty sure the guildmates are going to increase the number of times they are going to partner up with you" Meredy said with a smile from the side. After saving the imprisoned children, she was in a good mood.

"From what I can see, Ash seemed to tether towards more destruction" as Ultear said this, Ash raised his head, and his arm seemed to be raised high as if he won a battle of being the strongest which earned a snort from Agni. Ultear chucked as she continued.

"While Agni's form seemed to be focussed on agility and speed. Even though she can't be as destructive as Ash, her movement speed will help her take you down very easily and seeing your expressions from before, I am pretty sure it was her who managed to stop that explosion from reaching Magnolia."

At that revelation, Ash's earlier confidence deflated like a balloon that lost its air, earning a laughter from all of them.

The rest of the formalities went without any problem. As soon as they finished the mission, Agni immediately went to the city and informed Makarov to contact the Council soldiers to arrest and take care of the rest of the cult members who were captured alive.

One thing to note was that Makarov did not even flinch when he saw The Charizard form and when asked by Agni who expected a bit of resistance in the first meeting, he smiled and spoke.

"What father would have difficulty in recognising their children" though the heartwarming comment earned smiles from all around, the wounded Gildarts, who was still on his way back to the guild felt like someone stabbed him in the heart, but he managed to shake it off and walk again.

From then on the council handled everything. It was found out that the dark guild wizard had been arrested earlier and had escaped from prison due to an action of a corrupt prison officer who accepted bribes to let him go free.

This time the members did not even feel a bit of surprise as it had happened a lot by now. Nowadays, if something wrong happens, the guildmembers says to look for its root in the council.

The council had to keep it a secret as they had recently announced that they had weeded out corruption from their entire system. So Fairy tail was reimbursed by a lot and they even took the responsibility of making sure that the children reached their homes and if the children had no home to go back to or if they had been purposefully sold to the cultists, the council decided to pay for their admissions into different orphanages throughout Fiore.

And Ash and Agni got the most rewards since they were responsible for dealing with most of the problems and had been the ones who discovered the incident.

"Seems like a lot of stuff happened when we left" Karna muttered as he heard what happened from the guild members.

"Yeah, I forgot to ask, where did you and Cana go. We were actually worried for a second since you did not tell us anything about it" Macao asked while drinking a beer.

"Haha, well, I had gone to meet an old friend. He had a bit of trouble, so we stayed a few days to help him solve it" Karna said with an awkward smile.

"I get that, but why are the girls crowding towards Cana every night after you came back" he then shuddered slightly "They even have those girls night everyday now."
