Chapter 154: Day of the Tournament

Ethan came out from the place where the Supremes were.

He was in his room now. There was nothing much to do. The night would be over soon. And as for preparation, there was nothing he needed to do.

But Ethan had a inkling from his law of fate that something major was going to happen. That major event might require some preparation but he didn't know what to do.

He wanted to create his ultimate domain, but it couldn't be formed unless all his laws reached 10% comprehension.

So he just went to sleep.

In the world of Aetherion,

The party was over. Everyone said goodbye to each other.

Oliver asked Ethan to stay, as he would like to talk to him.

Ethan was sure this was something related to Oliver's system, otherwise, he wouldn't try so hard since Ethan hadn't shown any particular talents yet.

Liam said in Ethan's ear, "Brother, looks like the president wants to befriend you. Your life is going to soar, no doubt about it. Don't forget me when it does.", then Liam left with Sofia.

Ethan just smiled.

"Hey system, do you have any idea what is going on with this Oliver dude? Is he good or bad? What is his system all about?"

[His system is called "The Hero System." Its function is simple—it gives him tasks like eliminating evil forces or monsters, saving people, and the better he performs while completing those tasks, the higher the reward he gets.]

Ethan had a look of understanding. "So that's how it is. That system is pretty cool, huh. Is this the Tier 20 existence's legacy that he's getting slowly by performing tasks? A character build-up to hold that legacy? Or is it just for fun for that creator?"

[It's his legacy.]

While Ethan was conversing with the system, Oliver appeared in front of him.

"Ryan, don't get me wrong. It is my hunch that you have great potential and I want to befriend you. I can help in your journey to become powerful. What do you think?"

Ethan sighed. "Figured. It was the system that gave him a task to become my friend or help me—something like that."

So Ethan asked, "Oh? So what are the benefits you're after?"

Oliver wasn't surprised that Ethan could remain calm in front of him when he personally wanted to become his friend. If he were not extraordinary, the system would never have given him this task in the first place.

Oliver smiled. "When you become powerful, I want your help in one desperate battle where I might not be able to hold on with my own strength."

Ethan thought, "Fair excuse." Besides, Oliver was not a bad guy, so Ethan had no problem becoming friends with him.

"Okay then. I think you're worth becoming a friend." He moved his hand for a handshake.

There was no need to play childish games like obtaining trust and so on.

And that day, two system users became friends. One of them knew about the other one's secret though, but it didn't matter.

Ethan and Oliver then went out to eat more at a street stall.

Suddenly Oliver asked, "Ryan, do you think there are other universes out there like ours?"

Ethan answered directly, "Yes, I do."

Oliver was stunned. Ethan was too sure—like he had seen it with his own eyes.

He looked at Ethan. "How are you so sure?"

Ethan said, "Because I am an otherworlder. And this is my clone. My main body is in another universe."

Oliver felt like a bomb had been detonated in his head. "Ryan was from another universe and this was a clone? How powerful is his main body then?"

Ethan said, "Oliver, there are far more secrets in world than you can imagine. Never let your guard down because you are from a powerful family. In some universes, your family doesn't mean shit."

Ethan told him this because he had accepted Oliver as his friend and he didn't want to hide his power anymore—at least not in this universe. So Oliver had the right to know about this little secret.

Ethan then told him about the adventures he had.

Oliver's eyes became wide when he heard the story. He also wanted to visit different universes. No wonder his system tasked him to befriend this person—it was totally worth it.

Oliver also shared some of his secrets—that he had the Sword Sovereign Physique, which was also a transcended-tier talent—and some other details.

After telling each other some minor secrets, they left for their dormitory.

Ethan also went to sleep.

6 a.m., on Earth

Ethan woke up. His system panel changed again.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 2 Black Hole

Spirit: 2 Black Hole

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

(14 days remaining)

Today was the day the tournament would start, but Ethan woke up like it was a normal day because he had already sent a clone to the designated battlefield.

Then he vanished from the place and appeared where his family members were gathered. Today they would enter the virtual universe to watch the matches from there.

With Ethan's arrangements , everyone directly entered the new Hunt Estate he had just bought with all his contribution points.

The estate had area even bigger than a super city.

There was a palace at the center of the estate. It was a super high tech place. Ethan though he should create this palace in the real world. It looked so cool.

It was a proper city-like place, with different types of buildings—shopping malls, stadiums, cultivation chambers, law comprehension chambers, etc.

It would be very beneficial to Ethan's family.

Now everyone sat in the fighting arena, where all the battles would be projected in a 3D manner.

So it would feel like they were watching the battle directly.

Now in the Naman Galaxy, on a giant planet—the planet had the size of five solar systems. It was a humongous cesestial body.

Today, thousands of people would come here to watch the battle, but they would be the natives of this planet plus the warriors who would fight here.

Ethan could take his family to watch this battle directly, but he felt something would happen today, so he didn't take the risk.

Ethan's clone came to the battle arena. Already millions of people had arrived in the arena. The natives were a mixture of different races here, as it was a neutral zone belonging to all five sovereign races.

For millions of years, people from all the races had come here to live, as the inter-racial tournament would always occur here.

The most fascinating thing was that all the participants battled with their real bodies, so the death, blood, and injuries—all were real. That's why it was the most anticipated tournament in the universe.

Probably Ethan was the only one who was going to use his clone. But what could they do? Letting him join with his main body would be suicidal for other races.

Ethan went to the place where all the participants of the primordial humans were.

Soon he saw Lucien, with power of 1 Sun, Neo whose strenth was 500 Earth, Natasha with 150 Earth and there 2 more with around 100 earth level power he didn't recognise.
