The first battle of the 2nd phase was between Ethan and the boy from the snake-human race who also got number 1 as his token.

Ethan calmly stood at the center of the arena. His hands were behind his back. Soon the boy from the snake-human race entered. His upper body was that of a human but his lower body was of a snake.

He bowed to Ethan as soon as he entered.

"Young Supreme of the human race, I know I am not a match for you, but I want to try. I'll attack you with my strongest attack. If you can block it, I'll admit defeat."

Ethan nodded. This semi-snake boy had around 123 Earth-level power. Not bad at all.

"Okay. Go ahead."

The boy nodded and activated his racial skill.

"Corrosive Tail."

It was an attack where his tail would release a super powerful acid-like substance which had at least 3 times more power than his strength.

The tail sweep was also powerful. So his opponent would first have to block his tail and then the acid, it was a lethal attack.

He swept his tail. Ethan didn't dodge. He barehandedly caught the tail.

The energy swept in the surrounding area in a radiating manner. But Ethan was standing there with an acid tail in his hand like nothing happened.

The corrosive acid couldn't do any harm to him as the power gap was tremendous.

Then he released the tail. The snake boy bowed, "I admit defeat."

It was his bad luck that he was matched against Ethan in his very first match.Otherwise he might have passed some more phases.

The audience started cheering loudly. But it was too hollow for Ethan, he really wanted some real fight. His Law of Fate gave him some hints that something was going to happen today, but what that would be, Ethan had no idea.

This girl just tried to curse him but the curse was not lethal so he didn't kill her.

All the winners were decided one after another.

13 people went to the next realm and one already went by default.

The top 14 individuals of this generation was decided by then.

This was all for today, the next phase would start tomorrow.
