Chapter 1083
Sherry was scolded for using magic
"Le-leo? But Sherry might be hurt…!"
"Wuff-wuff."
"Leo is telling you to look towards her."
"Huh?"
"Kyu…kyau!"
"She stood up!"
"So Sherry is fine…"
"Wuff. Wuff-wuff!"
The tails of the fenrirs were covered in very soft fur… So it wouldn't hurt compared to being struck by an orc or even Riruru's paws.
Well…maybe Riruru's paws were soft as well?
"Hah…what a relief."
"Wuff. Wuff-wuff."
"Well, I can understand why you were worried. Uh, Leo says that Shery must be rebuked for using magic."
While the rule had mainly been to prevent Feri and Fen from damaging our surroundings, it was also in effect for Sherry and Riruru.
After all, it was possible that Riruru would go too far.
Sherry was not able to use magic on the same level. And it was clear that it was nothing for Riruru. Still, rules are rules.
"Grau. Gau-gau! Gau!"
"Kyau…"
"She said, you can't use magic! Repent!"
"Haha. It's a mother scolding her child."
"We are always with them, so sometimes I forget they are fenrirs… But they really are powerful monsters…"
As Sherry stood up, Riruru began to bark at her.
Claire was right, we had started to see them more like dogs than monsters.
"…Gau. Grau!"
"Kyau!"
"Oh, so they are going to do it again. This time without magic."
After Sherry and Riruru's training battle, Sebastian passed out the winnings. I thought we would then return to the mansion…but it seemed like we would have to wait.
The reason that we couldn't leave…was that we had to clean up after the fenrirs had fought.
They had opened quite a lot of holes in the ground. And they would have to be covered, or people might fall into them, and horses could break their legs.
That being said, we had not brought any tools with us. And so it was mostly the fenrirs who used their feet to fill up the holes.
"Wuff! Wuff!"
"Leo seems to be having fun."
Liza and Tilura were playing in the first, and Leo was having fun with them.
Ah…they would all have to take a bath when we returned to the mansion.
Sherry was quite dirty as well…
"That really was amazing. Not just Leo, but the fenrirs. I doubt any human could beat them."
"Was it really that impressive…? I am not sure if I'm glad or sad that I wasn't there…"
After filling up the holes and erasing the marks of the fight, we made our way back.
Alfred and the other servants wasted no time telling the others about what they had seen. Like me, they had been astonished.
It was almost too impressive to describe. After all…the second half of the fight was mostly just a blur that my eyes couldn't even follow.
