I returned to my own dormitory, but I didn't see Li Yitian.

I was terrified.

I had no idea where Yu Rongling took the little girl.

"Yitian, where are you?" I circled the small dorm room and peered out into the hallway, "Xiao Yitian, Yitian...?"

Just then, a half-asleep voice came from behind me, "Mom, are you looking for me?"

I turned around.

The closet door in the room was open, and a little girl was standing by it.

She was rubbing her eyes, sleepily looking at me.

After a pause, she ran to me and hugged me, "Did the wound on your knee get better?"

"It's all right now, it's already healed." I was in a daze for a while before I placed my hands on her back and held her, "You've recovered all your memories, why are you still calling me mom?"

"Memories? What memories? Mom, what are you talking about? I don't understand," Xiao Yitian asked me.

I began to get a little nervous, "Didn't you wake up this morning with a lot of other scenes in your head?"

"There were a lot of scenes, they all seemed like a dream to me, only the ones with mom felt the most real," Xiao Yitian spoke like a poet, despite her young age.

She took her real memories for a dream and saw me as the true figure in her dream.

"Ouch—" A scream came from the room, and I saw Yu Rongling, along with the blankets, tumble out of the closet, "This closet is too narrow, sleeping in it is uncomfortable."

My mouth twitched, what was wrong with this guy, liking to sleep in a closet?

When he noticed my presence in the room, he scrambled up, rubbing his butt, and looked at me resentfully, "Sis-in-law... you came up? Where's my brother?"

"Your brother said he went to check on the Snake Servant's soul snatching, why sleep in a closet when you have a bed, or at the very least you could sleep on the sofa," I glanced at the wardrobe, which was extremely cramped and narrow.

This guy, sleeping in there himself was one thing, but to also cuddle up with someone else's soft and cute little girl inside.

Xiao Yitian must have been so uncomfortable inside.

Yu Rongling had a well-reasoned response, "The wardrobe is most like my Snake Cave, I'm comfortable sleeping in it."

I didn't have the patience to indulge Yu Rongling's bad habit and took Xiao Yitian to the public restroom on the third floor.

I used a hot water-soaked towel to wipe the little girl's face.

I also got her a new toothbrush, thankfully the women's toothbrushes I bought were quite small, so Xiao Yitian had no trouble using it.

"Are you taking Yitian to wash up?" My mom was also getting ready for work at this time and happened to run into me and Yitian.

I was squatting down gently helping Yitian brush her teeth, "Mom, Yitian's other half of her soul has been found, let her mom come pick her up."

"Really found? Who did it?" My mom paused in her face-washing, her expression turning serious.

Seeing her so earnest, I knew I couldn't conceal the truth, nor was it convenient to dodge the question," A Snake Immortal named Immortal Liu."

"Immortal Liu? That's Ying Long." My mom's face turned pale.

I didn't expect she would know of Immortal Liu's reputation, and my plan to fob her off with the truth went down the drain, "Yes, Immortal Liu is highly respected, so she was easy to talk to. Once she knew our intentions, she returned the girl right away."

"Then why did she take Yitian?" My mom insisted on asking responsibly.
