My Love Debts Are Everywhere!

Chapter 676: The Sea Dragon Emperor - Part 1

The next day...

The sun shone brightly, its warm light breathing life into everything beneath it.

Inside the room, Leon—still fast asleep—suddenly felt something heavy pressing down on him.

His brow furrowed. He tried to roll to the right, but the pressure on his stomach returned, making it hard to breathe.

"Ugh..." he groaned softly, slowly opening his eyes.

He stared blankly at the ceiling before lowering his gaze.

A moment later, shock spread across his face. Elina—who should have been in the next bed—was now beside him, clinging to him in her sleep.

The straps of her nightgown had slipped off her shoulders, revealing soft, pale skin and an enticing cleavage.

"Damn... What is this girl doing?" The corner of Leon's mouth twitched.

He had always assumed only Fiona and Zelda had odd sleeping habits—turns out Elina did too, much to his surprise.

Trying not to overthink it, Leon gently tried to move her aside. But just then, something unexpected happened.

As if sensing the disturbance, Elina frowned in her sleep and instinctively snuggled closer, wrapping her arms around his face like she was seeking warmth.

Her soft, ample chest pressed against his face, and the sweet scent of her body overwhelmed his senses.

Leon's body tensed up immediately. A physiological reaction was inevitable—but fortunately, he managed to hold himself back and quickly freed himself from Elina's embrace.

The moment he did, he leapt off the bed, breathing heavily.

"That was close..." he muttered, pressing a hand to his chest.

He liked to think of himself as someone who could keep his desires in check, but in that moment, only he knew just how hard it truly was.

Moreover, Elina's figure was no less alluring than Zelda's—perhaps even more so.

Even so, Leon kept reminding himself: Elina was just a young girl, Zelda's younger sister, and he absolutely shouldn't let any strange thoughts cross his mind.

Shaking his head, he got up and walked to the bathroom to freshen up.

When he came out feeling more composed, he was startled to see Elina already awake, sitting on the bed with a flushed face.

"Ahem! You're awake?" Leon greeted her casually as he approached.

"Yes, I just woke up," Elina replied shyly, her cheeks still red. After a brief pause, she asked in a soft voice, "Um… Young Master, did I just...?"

Her voice trailed off, but Leon immediately understood.

"Yes. You ended up sleeping next to me," he replied with a sigh, slowly sitting down on the edge of the bed. "How did you even move from your bed to mine?"

Hearing that, Elina turned even redder. She scratched her cheek awkwardly.

"Well, that's…"

She wanted to explain, but no words came out. After all, she had done it on purpose.

While Leon was sound asleep last night, she had quietly slipped into his bed and cuddled up beside him.

But of course—there was no way she could admit that out loud.

"I have a habit of sleepwalking. Maybe that's why," Elina said with a straight face, completely unfazed.

Leon raised an eyebrow. Something about it didn't sit right with him.

Still, he said nothing and gave a quiet nod.

"Anyway, let's get ready to continue our journey. But before that, we'll check whether the Sea Dragon Emperor really showed up near the beach," Leon said while stretching.

Elina's eyes lit up instantly. She clenched her fists with excitement and exclaimed, "I can't wait to see it too!"

After checking out of the inn, Leon and Elina spent some time shopping in the city for supplies they might need on their journey.

Although this trip wasn't expected to be as long as the previous one, they didn't want to take any chances.

Who knew what kind of trouble might arise along the way and delay their plans?

Just to be safe, they stocked up on food, drinks, and a few extra snacks.

As for clothes and personal items, they didn't need anything.

Both Leon and Elina had brought plenty of high-quality clothing from the Elven territory—far superior to anything sold at ordinary roadside shops.

With their errands complete, they didn't head straight to the harbor.

Instead, they took a detour to the beach, which was about six hundred meters away.

The shore was wide and breathtaking, covered in fine white sand. Shells, starfish, and tiny crabs were scattered along the coastline.

However, since the weather had turned cloudy about twenty minutes earlier, the beach was mostly deserted. Only a few locals remained—some cleaning up, others wading into the shallows.

Elina's eyes lit up as she gazed at the vast stretch of beach before her. She had spent her whole life in the peaceful—but frankly boring—Elven lands.

Even after escaping to human territory, she had only ever lived in cities, making a living by running a small fortune-telling stall.

It was her first time seeing the beach in person—and to her, it was an unforgettable experience.

"It was totally worth coming along on Young Master's journey! I got to see something I never imagined in my life!" Elina whispered to herself, her face glowing with awe and happiness.

Beside her, Leon was just as captivated by the breathtaking view stretching out before them.

Although he had visited a beach in the southeast region of the Holy Orthodox in the past, that place felt insignificant compared to this one.

The two of them walked forward until they reached the shoreline, where gentle waves occasionally lapped at their feet.

"Young Master, look!" Elina called out excitedly from beside him.

Leon turned to see her holding a red crab, roughly the size of two palms.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she said, "If we cook it, I bet it'd taste really good!"

As if sensing its grim fate, the crab immediately panicked and tried to escape—but to no avail.

Elina firmly held both its claws, rendering the poor creature helpless.

Leon let out a soft laugh and flicked her forehead. "Is food the only thing you think about?"

"Ouch!"

Elina winced, and the crab slipped from her hands, quickly scuttling back into the sea.

She pouted in annoyance but didn't dare talk back. Instead, she let out a quiet snort and looked away.

"By the way, the place where the Sea Dragon Emperor usually appears is near the pier, about a hundred meters from here. Let's head there," Leon said, gently pulling Elina by the hand.

They walked along the shore, the sea breeze brushing against them and making their hair flutter softly.

Elina remained quiet, her gaze fixed on Leon's hand holding hers—and the broad back leading the way.

For some reason, her thoughts wandered to the romantic scenes she'd read in the storybooks back in Morvhal.

After all, this moment felt just like one of those tales. And Leon's strikingly handsome face didn't lose out to any of the princes from those stories.

Just as she was lost in her daydream, Leon came to a stop and said calmly, "We've arrived."

Elina snapped out of her thoughts and quickly looked around with curiosity.

In front of them stretched a long pier jutting out over the sea.

Judging by its structure, it was clearly meant for fishing or simply enjoying the ocean view.

However, with the overcast sky and occasional gusts of strong wind, walking out onto the pier didn't seem like the safest idea.

It wouldn't be impossible for someone to get blown off and fall into the deep waters below.

"Wait here for a moment. I'll go check it out," Leon said, his tone serious.

Elina looked like she wanted to protest, but the words never left her mouth. She simply nodded and took a few cautious steps back.

Leon stepped onto the pier with calm, steady strides. The cloudy weather had brought a sharp drop in temperature, and the sea breeze felt cold enough to cut through skin.

When he reached the end of the pier, he stopped and stood still, staring down at the deceptively calm surface of the water.

Then, without warning, he shouted, "Hey, stupid dragon monster! Where are you? Show yourself!"

From a distance, Elina stared at him in disbelief. She had expected some kind of ritual, incantation, or at least a proper technique to summon the creature.

But… this?

"Tsk! The dragon still won't show up? Do I need to use my powers to lure it out?" Leon muttered, rubbing his chin.

He really didn't want to make a scene that might attract attention from the city. But at this rate, unless he did something dramatic, the dragon would never appear.

Without hesitation, Leon opened his palm, and in an instant, the Holy Sword of Zenith materialized in his hand.

Then, he jumped high into the air, raising the sword toward the sky.

"Hero Technique: Divine Slash!"

He swung it downward—and a massive wave of holy power burst forth, slicing through the air and slamming into the sea.

*Boom!*

The explosion sent hundreds of liters of seawater shooting into the sky before crashing back down like heavy rain.

Suspended in midair, Leon stared intently at the ocean below.

"Will it show itself?" he thought, eyes scanning the water.

But a minute passed... and nothing happened. There was no sign of the dragon.

"Strange…" Leon muttered, frowning. "Was that still not enough to provoke it? Or… is that dragon just a lie?"

Between the two, he was leaning toward the latter.

There was a good chance the man from yesterday had been drunk and talking nonsense.

Leon took a deep breath, then slowly descended back onto the pier and turned to leave.

But just as he was about to take a step, a massive black shadow suddenly surfaced on the water.

It stretched like the body of a giant serpent, gliding slowly as it circled the pier.

Leon froze in place, momentarily stunned. Then, a faint smile appeared on his face.

"So, you really do exist…"
