My Mage System (BL)

Chapter 725: *Damantium*

Axel then looked at Kevin and said, "Ian is getting too strong; I can't read his mind anymore. But something is bothering him. He wanted to ask us something but crossed the portal without saying anything."

"Do you have any clues?" asked Kevin, feeling confused.

Axel responded, "I'm not sure. I think he wanted to ask for our help… and he was thinking about the men they rescued."

"Ah, I know!" said Kevin. "No wonder he didn't dare to ask us!"

Axel looked at him doubtfully and said, "Do they really want our Willow to help them wake up?"

Kevin shrugged his shoulders and said to him, "Ian didn't dare to ask us because he knows that if Willow isn't with us, it's because she is probably sleeping."

Axel nodded and replied, as the core of their world emitted a light much more powerful than before, "She will soon wake up anyway, so after we finish here, I will go and ask our little princess to help these poor creatures regain consciousness."

Kevin nodded but said, as a new magic circle was forming around the first one thanks to their core, "I still have a bad feeling, like the threat isn't over… I can't shake this feeling, so wait for my call before bringing our daughter into the arena."

Axel frowned before saying, "Then I'm staying with you. They are already healed anyway, so we will wait until you feel safe before bringing Willow to them."

"As you wish!" said Kevin before asking him, "Is it done?"

Axel nodded, and five large Divine-grade magic crystals then appeared in his hands. He placed them where the core of their world told him to, and then, after a blinding light, the newly created magic circle was activated, causing the one where the core of this world was resting to glow with a golden color.

A golden glow also surrounded this core, and Axel told him, "It's over; our core just told me that in a few days it will be fine and that, thanks to the energy it can draw from the divine magic crystals, in the meantime, it will be able to stabilize this world."

Just when Axel finished his sentence, Kevin heard the familiar sound of his system, and notifications appeared before his eyes.

[Congratulations, you have completed Optional Quests 1 and 2. The rewards have been sent to your inventory.]

Reward 1: 1,500,000 gold coins

Reward 2: 150 stat points

Reward 3: Divine grade box x 1; Legendary grade box x 1

Extra rewards: 9 kg of Damantium; formula to craft Damantium.

Kevin widened his eyes and then asked Axel, "Do we check now or later?"

Axel replied, "Elias and powerful Warrior Spirits are already watching over them. I think we can afford to lose 2 minutes to check what this formula is… I've never heard of an ore called Damantium, so I'm kind of curious."

Kevin was also curious, and Axel had a point; with Elias over there, whatever the threat was, they would be safe.

He opened his inventory and took out some Damantium to check its attributes and the formula.

[FORMULA]

To craft 5 kg of Damantium, you need 2 kg of Verarium, 2 kg of Trinium, 1 kg of Acrium, and a small Divine grade magic crystal.

The higher the grade of those ores, the more powerful the Damantium will be.

Kevin and Axel then looked at each other with widened eyes, and Kevin said, "Wasn't Connor trying to mix some ores to craft a more powerful one?"

Axel just nodded and then asked Kevin, "What about the Damantium? I can feel that this ore is on par with or even more powerful than the high-grade Acrium we found in our world."

Kevin then used his perception skill and read the information he got to Axel.

[ORE]

Damantium: Divine grade, can be infused with 4 different elements (one Divine element and 3 other elements of your choice). Weapons crafted with Damantium can only be wielded by Fighters and Mages who have reached level 200.

"Amazing!" said Kevin. "We can craft Divine weapons with this ore; it is so powerful."

Kevin then asked his system if he could buy more formulas to get these kinds of powerful ores, just in case, and they widened their eyes again as more than 10 formulas were available in the system's store.

"This time we hit the jackpot!" said Axel. Kevin smiled and added, "Let's buy them right away and give them to Elias. He will be able to pass them on to Connor, and I'm sure that the Warrior Spirits and your father's men will be able to gather any ores we'll need to obtain those powerful ores."

To buy those formulas, it cost them 6,000,000 gold coins, and fortunately, Axel could purchase them; otherwise, they would have had to wait for Kevin to use his Stage 3 again, as only a Fighter of God level or a Divine Mage could buy them.

As soon as the magic bag containing the formulas appeared in Axel's hand, they also placed the Damantium they had gained along with its formula inside the bag. Then, they teleported to the arena where the rest of the group was waiting for their return.

Elias asked him, as he was taking the magic bag Axel was handing him while wondering what could be inside, "Is the threat really over?"

Kevin replied, "This world is safe and stable, but I still have this bad feeling… what about you?"

"Me too!" Elias responded, adding, "I think I will need your system to check something for me."

Kevin then said, "Whatever you need me to check, just say it!"

Elias smiled and explained to him, "Malo couldn't find another chameleon that could have been hidden among the Drakonits, but the one we caught wasn't alone for sure. The men and women we saved were captured even before Johan, so there are more traitors among them."

Atlas then asked them, "Could it have been the one that Lena killed with her light?"
