Naruto: Adopted Son of Minato

"Alright, alright, let's eat! Your Aunt Kushina made so much food today! You have to eat a lot!" Minato said, smiling at Uzumaki Hiroshi after setting the table.

"Don't worry, Uncle Minato. I exercised a lot this afternoon. I'm starving! I'll eat tons!" Uzumaki Hiroshi replied with a smile.

Minato and Kushina laughed at his words, and the three of them sat down.

"Alright, let's eat! The food will get cold!" Kushina said, smiling.

Uzumaki Hiroshi nodded, picked up his chopsticks, and began eating.

The scene was incredibly heartwarming. A family of three eating together, laughing and chatting—a picture of happiness.

"Wow, Aunt Kushina's braised eggplant is amazing! It tastes exactly the same as before. It's my favorite!

And everything else is delicious too! All my favorites!" Uzumaki Hiroshi said happily, having missed his aunt's cooking.

Minato nodded with a smile. "That's right. Your Aunt Kushina put a lot of effort into this. She made everything herself, all your favorite dishes. You have to eat a lot!"

Uzumaki Hiroshi nodded, continuing to eat without stopping.

"Hiroshi, eat more if you like it. Who knows when you'll get to eat my cooking again? You'll grow up, and you won't always be around.

You'll be going on missions, and we won't see you for long stretches," Kushina said, placing a piece of braised pork in Uzumaki Hiroshi's bowl.

Uzumaki Hiroshi felt a pang of sadness. He knew in the original Naruto story, Minato and Kushina died during the Nine-Tailed Fox attack. The thought was painful.

"I know, Aunt Kushina. Don't worry, I'll take care of myself. And I'll miss your cooking a lot. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come eat your cooking again," Uzumaki Hiroshi said, his eyes slightly red.

Uzumaki Hiroshi's heart was heavy. He knew they would die in a few days, but he couldn't say anything. It was a terrible feeling.
