Naruto: Chakra System

Chapter 35: [CHAPTER 35] Kiba gets from 'Dead-Last' Taunts to 'One-Shot' Defeat

"Ready to lose, dead-last?" Kiba Inuzuka taunted Naruto, confident in his abilities. "You can attack first."

Akamaru, perched over his head, let out a soft, "Woof," of agreement with Kiba.

Naruto wasn't affected by Kiba's taunt; he himself was quite confident in his abilities.

Whoosh!

In a blink of an eye, he vanished from his spot, reappearing directly in front of Kiba, surprising him with his speed of Body Flicker.

Kurenai also was stunned, and muttered, "He's fast." Shino's expressions were hidden under his dark glasses and high collars.

Hinata was also surprised and looking at Naruto with a soft gaze, muttering under her breath, "Good luck, N-Naruto-kun."

Meanwhile, members of Team 7 weren't surprised, for Naruto, Body Flicker is an unlimited use, without caring about Chakra. Though Kakashi had told them not to use it for combat for now, he also knew when the time came for combat, they would use it.

Kiba's eyes widened, but Naruto, without a moment of hesitation, kicked him in the guts, throwing him on the ground, with Akamaru jumping beside Kiba. Kiba, caught off guard, stumbled back.

Seeing Naruto coming towards him, he immediately struck him with a wild swipe from the ground. Naruto ducked his swipe, jumped, and then launched a powerful kick that grazed Kiba's side.

Kiba nearly dodged, quickly moved back, created a distance; his earlier underestimation of Naruto was no longer in his mind. He snarled, "Alright, yo—"

Before he could finish, Naruto made a hand sign, "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Poof!

With that, 20 Shadow Clones of Naruto appeared, filling the area. Naruto's grin widened at Kiba's shock and he said, "See, I'm not the same as before, from academy time."

"He really improved, what kind of training are you giving him?" Kurenai from the side, asked Kakashi.

Kakashi shrugged, "Nothing usual, just basics." Kurenai narrowed her eyes at Kakashi, but didn't push it further; she believed that Kiba could still win, after all, Kiba hadn't shown his techniques yet.

Meanwhile, Hinata's eyes widened in surprise and appreciation for Naruto. "Hinata, who are you cheering for?" Kakashi noticed Hinata and asked, while smiling under his mask.

Hinata stammered a little, "I-I um, Na—, Kiba-kun."

Kakashi let out a small chuckle, which Kurenai noticed and in a low voice asked to Kakashi, "What are you chuckling about?"

Kakashi shook his head and said, "Nothing."

Meanwhile, Naruto's Shadow Clones were overwhelming Kiba; even with his superhuman sense of smell, Kiba couldn't find the real Naruto, from the sheer numbers of Naruto's scents. One Shadow Clone lunged low, another high, forcing Kiba to constantly watch out for them.

He growled, completely realizing the dead-last was no longer the same pushover he remembered. In this simple spar, Naruto was pushing him.

"Akamaru! Let's go!" Kiba finally taking him seriously, yelled, and started pushing chakra to his limbs. He dropped on all fours, his body shifting as he used his Clan's technique, Four-Legged Technique.

His nails elongated, his teeth sharpened, and he moved with a newfound feral grace. Meanwhile, Akamaru, mirroring him, transformed into a perfect replica of Kiba, using Man-Beast Clone Jutsu.

Now, two ferocious Kiba-like figures moved as one, tearing through Naruto's Clones.

Wham!

Crack!

Clones started to disperse one by one into smoke, with each powerful strike. Sakura, surprised, asked, "Whoa, what is this Jutsu, and who is the real Kiba in there?"

Sasuke immediately activated his Sharingan, and instantly found the real Kiba among them, with his red eye's newly enhanced perception. His Two-Tomoe Sharingan was easily able to see chakra as a distinct energy flow, though not as vivid as Byakugan.

While Akamaru was a perfect replica of Kiba currently, the Chakra Flow of Kiba and Akamaru were different, even if they both looked identical physically, this is more inclined to the Transformation Jutsu than Shadow Clone Jutsu.

The real Kiba and Akamaru fought with animalistic ferocity; their coordinated attacks dispersed every Shadow Clone of Naruto. Naruto, now facing the two Kibas, was confused on who was real, but he didn't get much time to stay still, as they lunged at Naruto.

Naruto quickly made hand signs, extended his both joined palms and said, "Wind Style: Gale Palm Jutsu!"

Whoosh!

A concentrated blast of wind chakra erupted from his palm. The powerful gust sent Kiba and Akamaru a few meters away in their mid-air charge, slamming onto a few trees.

With a poof, Akamaru turned back into its true form, whining softly. Kiba groaned, spitting out a mouthful of dirt, as he tried to stand back up, bruised and defeated, staring at Naruto, utterly bewildered.

He didn't even get to use his Fang over Fang Technique, and he was already defeated by Naruto in one move. Kakashi and Kurenai moved swiftly and helped Kiba and Akamaru.

Kakashi also tried out his Mystic Palm Jutsu for the first time, and it worked incredibly; Kiba's bruises and injuries healed with Kakashi's glowing green hand.

Kurenai, surprised, asked, "When did you learn Medical Ninjutsu?"

Kakashi shrugged and said nonchalantly, "Not long ago, it's helpful, so I thought why don't give it a try."

Kurenai was stunned at Kakashi's nonchalant response but even more at Naruto; she was still believing that Kiba could win, even if Naruto had improved a bit. "Jinchūriki's are such a cheat, no wonder," she muttered under her breath.

Kiba wasn't much injured, and with Kakashi's help, he was all okay. They then went where they were standing, observing their match.

"See, I won, didn't I tell you!" Naruto was beaming at his win. Hinata, standing beside him, smiled shyly and muttered something inaudible to anyone.

Though Naruto did use Gale Palm Jutsu, Naruto's control over it was still a little bad. Kakashi noticed that when Naruto used it, he himself had gone back few steps, plus the wide area he used it on was also not perfect as of...

Which was also the reason Kiba wasn't in much worse condition, as some of the impact went through from the sides, plus Naruto didn't use his full strength.

"Are you okay?" Hinata, Shino, and Sakura asked. In response, Kiba just nodded, still staring at Naruto in surprise, who was grinning widely at him.

"Alright, next Shino and Sakura, you will spar now," Kakashi announced, and both Genin nodded and moved to the open spot ahead.

Naruto cheered, "Sakura-chan, give it your all!"

Sakura nodded, with a determined face; however, the result was obvious, she lost to Shino. Even though she improved, her improvement wasn't the same as Naruto and Sasuke; she still needed more time to become stronger.

Though, as Kakashi expected, Sakura at least managed to show some of her skills, gaining a little advantage for a moment, before running out of chakra because of Shino's insects.

Yet she lost, but wasn't sad, as she also saw that she was able to strike Shino a few times, which was completely opposite from Ninja Academy spars, as she was one of the weakest in this area.

"Alright, so it's now my turn," Sasuke said, and moved forward. Kurenai nodded at Hinata, who also nodded and walked to stood in front of Sasuke.

"Good luck, Hinata," Naruto cheered for Hinata, which surprised Sakura and Kakashi.

Sakura asked, "Hey, Sasuke is your teammate, why are you cheering for Hinata?"

Naruto replied simply, "I know Sasuke is stronger, so I was cheering for Hinata."

They nodded, Kiba also nodded, as pretty much everyone here knew that Sasuke was top of their batch, so he couldn't be defeated easily.

Hinata, hearing Naruto's cheer, blushed slightly, before getting ready and making the stance. This time Kurenai announced, "Start!"
