Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Team assingments

Academy end of the week

Naruto walked to his classroom, and as he remembered what had happened, he sighed. He had called a meeting to let his mates know everything; this was one thing he got out of the way. As expected, Anko was surprised and slightly on the offensive, while Yugao was calm. However, her slightly twitching eyebrow made him know she wasn't happy with the other side. Hinata frowned. This had been since they understood everything and saw how shaken up the old sensei was. In the end, it was agreed to see how things progress. After that, Ino, who went to his house, grabbed Naruto, pulling him to a training ground to train a bit.

Naruto was taken out of his thoughts as he entered the classroom. "STOP TRYING TO COPY SASUKE-KUN, NARUTO-BAKA!" screeched the pink-haired girl. "I didn't know the Uchiha clan had a trademark on a color, and we haven't seen him in a long sleeve," said Naruto. "Th-they don't," stammered the pink-haired girl, thrown off by the dead last's casual manner. " But just because you are suddenly not wearing that horrible jumpsuit doesn't mean you are cool," said the pink-haired girl. "That's your conclusion, forehead," said Ino as she frowned at her friend's behavior after her father showed her the real world, and she started correcting herself. She hoped nothing would happen to Sakura while on a mission.

"Firstly, we don't even have anything similar. I have the color grey, and he wears black. Secondly, he's over there. Why don't you bother him instead of me?" Naruto said as he turned to pull a book. It infuriated Sakura as she drew her fist back, aiming at his head. However, everyone was shocked except those who knew as Naruto effortlessly caught it and twisted her arm with just enough pressure to restrain her from moving.

"I won't tell you again, Sakura-san," he replied without looking up from his book. "Leave me alone." With a slight push, he let go of her fist. She wisely retreated to her desk, unsure what had happened and how it happened. Naruto, the 'dead last,' caught her fist without even looking.

'I hope we are on the same team as Naruto-kun' thought Hinata and Ino, hoping to see everyone's reactions to Naruto dropping his mask. Soon enough, the class chatter returned to the main topic, which was the dead-last change in appearance and behavior. After some time, Iruka entered the classroom alone, much to the surprise of the class. "Ummm, Iruka sensei, where's Mizuki-sensei?" asked a student. "Is he sick?"

"No, he isn't sick," answered the scared chunin. "A week ago, Mizuki attempted to betray the village. Even going so far as to use a student for his crime he was killed." This earned a round of gasps from the students, a few looking at Naruto as he closed his book and smirked as they sighed, one saying, "Troublesome blondes."

"Now I'll start the team placements," said Iruka as everyone paid attention. It wasn't until "Team seven consists of Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki. Your jonin sensei will be Kakashi Hatake." Upon hearing her name after Sasuke's, Sakura exclaimed that true love conquered all, much to Sasuke's annoyance. Though when she heard Naruto's name, she groaned about being stuck with the dead last. Despite him beating her a moment ago.

"Team eight will consist of Shino Aburame Kiba Inuzuka and Hinata Hyuga. Your sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi," said Iruka as Kiba gulped, knowing that she was friends with her sister and had a strong dislike for perverts going as fat as to put them on terrible genjutsu. "Today is not your day Kiba first Hinata then Kurenai sensei," said the monotone voice of Shino as Kiba paled as he had noted the amusement in it "S-shut it if I remember correctly you aren't too happy yourself." yelled the Inuzuka embarrassed he had made the mistake of trying to act like an alpha and made a move on Hinata only for naruto to stop it.

"Team ten will consist of Ino yamanaka, Shikamaru nara, and Choji akamichi sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi." Finished, Iruka One by one, the teams left with Hinata sulking she wasn't with Naruto as Kiba and Shino tried to cheer her up one promising some cinimmon buns only to feel a shudder on his wallet while Shino paled looking at Naruto who just threw a bag as he bowed prefusly making Naruto chuckle. 'Kiba, it's not your day. First Hinata followed by having Kurenai-san now you promised Hinata Cinnimon buns,' thought Shino as he opened up the bag having money. Knowing Kakashi's tendencies, Naruto took some time to read.

Three Hours later

Naruto sighed. It had been three hours of listening to Sakura screech and fawn over Sasuke, and it was starting to get on his nerves. It didn't help that Kurama told him to kill them and that he'd help him hide it. It wasn't until the door opened, revealing Kakashi with his eye smile with his Jonin attire 70% of his face covered. "YOU'RE LATE, SENSEI!" shrieked Sakura, about to stop as Naruto threw a kunai, attaching something while Kakashi caught it between his fingers. He noticed the tag that exploded with glitter. This surprised the two genins as Kakashi puffed being replaced with a trashcan as the kunai came back towards Naruto who caught it. This back-and-forth went on for a bit until Naruto, with a grin, pulled a tag and threw it towards Kakashi.

"What do you think you're doing, Naruto-baka?" Sakura shrieked, making everyone shudder at the high-pitched tone of her voice. As the kunai hit kakashi and with another glitter bomb went off, everyone saw him puff into a smoke cloud. "My first impression of all of you is that at least one of you is fun," he said with a smile appearing from the back of the room with an eye-smile. "Meet me on the rooftop," he said as he vanished in a swirl of leaves. With that done, Sasuke rushed out with Sakura following; neither noticed if Naruto followed them or not. But following his sensei, banished in a swirl of fire, he reappeared on the roof.

Kakashi did not even bother to look up from his book. "Shouldn't you have waited for your team?" asked Kakashi while turning a page from his book. "Well, they didn't even bother to see if I followed them. It's not like they would accept my help," said Naruto, sighing as he looked at Kakashi, who stopped reading, knowing his team would be the hardest he had a Fangirl, Avenger and Naruto someone he trained. But before they could continue, the door opened, revealing an out-of-breath Sasuke with Sakura following him like a loyal puppy. They turned to see Naruto chilling as he read a book.

"Dobe, how did you get here before us?" asked Sasuke, remembering that at no point did the blonde hanyou pass him. "It's just the body flicker jutsu," said Naruto boredly. "Dobe, I demand that you teach me that jutsu," he said with the typical Uchiha arrogance. "Go learn it yourself. I'm not obligated to teach you anything," said an annoyed Naruto. "You better give it to Sasuke-kun, he will use it more effectively than you!" Sakura shouted in support of the emo. "You'll give me that jutsu because I'm an elite, and I'm telling you to teach it to me," said Sasuke with a frown.

"That's enough," said Kakashi, releasing some Killing Intent he had watched his team from the very first moment of their interaction. "If you want to learn Jutsu, you can go to Konoha's Library. They'll have some you can use. Now, let's start with introductions," said Kakashi, seriously annoyed.

"Why don't you start Kakashi sensei?" asked Sakura. 'You don't know how to introduce yourself' thought Kakashi and Naruto. *Sigh* "Well my name is Kakashi Hatake I'm 27 years old, I have many likes and many dislikes, I haven't thought about my dreams, and for my hobbies you are all too young to hear them," said Kakashi with an eye smile while sending a small look at Naruto. 'We only learned his name' thought two of the genins.

"Okay, your turn, pinky," said Kakashi, causing a vein to appear on the girl's forehead but taking a breath to calm down for the nickname. "My name is Sakura Haruno. My likes are..." looks at Sasuke and blushes. "My hobbies are..." looks at Sasuke and blushes brighten. "My dream is to..." looks at Sasuke and squeals much to the annoyance of her team. "and my dislikes are Naruto-baka and Ino-pig," she finished after she recomposed herself.

"Now I know why your girlfriends and Kushina hate Fangirls. Good thing you got that Ino girl out," said Kurama with a growl. 'Great, she's a fanatic,' Kakashi sighed to himself, lamenting why he couldn't get Hinata or Ino. "Your turn, emo," said the masked man, eliciting a grunt from the Uchiha. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha, not emo. I have no likes and many dislikes, I have no hobbies, and I have no dreams. I don't have a dream but a goal to kill a man and avenge my clan."

'he's consumed by Revenge. He's still a flight risk' thought Naruto and Kakashi, looking at Sasuke's dark look. "Lastly, you up blondy," said Kakashi. "Well, my name is Naruto Uzumaki I'm 15 years old my dreams are ramen, training, learning new things spending time with my hime, my dislikes are rapists, People blinded by arrogance, those that don't take their training seriously, traitors, and those who manipulate others, my dream is to learn more about my ancestors and make someone proud," said naruto making Kakashi smile mentally.

'Well then, Kushina-nee, I hope he makes you proud,' thought the jonin with some bitterness, remembering his older sister's figure. 'Now then, we have a fanatic an avenger, and someone like me a promising shinobi. This could've been worse' Kakashi thought, sighing that he would still have a lot of work.

"Well, it's time to talk about the real genin exam" This surprised Pinky and duck butt. "But sensei, we already passed the academy test," said a bewildered Sakura. "That test was just a filter to select those with the potential to become genins." This surprised Sakura. "I warn you, this test, you have a failure rate of 66%, so you have a 34% chance of passing."

"Meet me at training ground seven at 7 am," he said as he turned to leave until he stopped and turned around. "Oh, and I suggest you skip breakfast if you don't want to throw up," he said and disappeared without giving one of his students time to respond.

"Well, see ya tomorrow at 9," Naruto remarked, getting up. "Oh, and eat a good breakfast." Naruto started walking off without waiting to respond as he disappeared in a swirl of leaves, much to the shock of his teammates. "Hey, Sasuke, do you want to go out on a date?" asked Sakura hopefully after they snapped out of their shock. "No" was the emo quick reply as he walked away, leaving the pink-haired girl alone with her thoughts and rejection.

The next morning

Naruto headed towards the training ground. After having a good breakfast. He arrived at the training ground and saw his teammates sitting on the training posts, exhausted and irritable. They ignored his suggestion. "You're late!" shouted Sakura. "No, I said I'd be here at 9 am," Naruto pointed out. "And if you didn't know, our sensei has a habit of being late to everything... I just showed up closer to the time he would appear."

Sakura only scoffed and sat back down against one of the poles. Not even caring if she was close to Sasuke or not. With a shrug, Naruto began reading a scroll. An hour later, Kakashi appeared with his typical lazy attitude and his book in his hand. "Good morning, my cute little genin," said Kakshi with his usual eye smile as Naruto hid his scroll in one of his seals to get down from the tree to join his team. "YOU'RE LATE, SENSEI!" Sakura shrieked.

"Sorry, I'm late. It's just that a black cat crossed my path, and I had to take another route, and I got lost on the road of life." This made the other three genins sweat.

"Well since we're here let's start with the test," he said as he took out a watch and some bells from a seal "Here's the test you have to manage to get one of these bells, to pass the test," he said as he adjusted the watch and showed the two bells. "But sensei, there are three of us, and there are only two bells," said Sakura. "Very observant. you see, those who don't get a bell will return to the academy." This took everyone by surprise, except Naruto. "With that said, you only have till noon to get one.

"Oh, and before I forget, come at me with the intent to kill, or you won't have a chance," he said. "The test starts now!" Immediately, both Sakura and Sasuke disappeared into the tree.s 'Well, at least they know how to hide, but they should learn to hide their presence.' At that, he noticed Naruto hadn't moved from his spot. "You know this is the part where you hide, right?" Kakashi said, looking at Naruto. "Yeah, but that makes it boring," said Naruto as he shrugged.

"True," said Kakashi, but he didn't get to as Naruto threw six shurikens that curved slightly around Kakashi. Without looking away from his book, he grabbed a kunai and cut through the wire that was tied around the shurikens as he jumped, dodging a low kick from Naruto as he flipped back. Naruto then made a handseal saying "Shadow clone jutsu." Ten puffs of clouds appeared when it dispersed to reveal eleven Naruto's as they rushed at Kakashi.

Kakashi immediately grabbed a Kunai as he blocked or dodged the hits. With a kunai, he quickly dispelled two of the clones as he ducked a combined head kick that dispelled two more clones moving effectively to behind one clone he made the tiger seal "you are still leaving your back open," "HIdden jutsu 1,000 years of death," said kakashi as he moved to impale naruto on the butt only for naruto to puff. "That's low, Kakashi sensei," said one as he looked pale, but the other had a smirk. "Well, maybe we can improve it," muttered the clones as they restarted their onslaught. After dispelling all the clones, he found no signs of Naruto, making him smirk.

With Sasuke

The last Uchiha was livid . He refused to believe what he was seeing; the dead last not only on equal terms with their jonin sensei but also managed to injure him. 'How can that dobe be so strong? This power should belong to me, a Uchiha elite' thought Sasuke angrily. 'I'll find out what makes that loser so strong, and I'll take it. It doesn't matter what I do to find you and kill you itachi with my own hands' thought Sasuke, a dark smile appearing on his face.

With Sakura

The cherry blossoms were out of her mind as she watched the events unfold from her hiding place, hidden in some bushes. Naruto-Baka, the dead last was sparing with their teacher seemingly at an equal level. It was more surprising when Naruto turned into smoke, showing that it was a shadow clone. 'Who knew Naruto was so strong?' inner Sakura stated. 'I may dare say he's stronger than Sasuke-kun!' 'There's no way Naruto-baka is stronger than Sasuke-kun' her outer self proclaimed vehemently, denying it.

'That little display says otherwise' chimed her inner self, laughing. 'Though now that I think about it, Naruto is kinda cute. Especially with those whisker marks. I wonder what he looks like without those clothes.' "Shut up, shut up." Sakura shook her head, trying to ignore her inner monologue. 'I love Sasuke-kun, and we are destined to be together!'

"Psst, Sakura-san," said a voice from behind her. The Haruno was about to scream, only for Naruto to cover her mouth to prevent her from making any noise, looking better at the person who was silencing her, the cherry blossom could she the blonde jinchuriki standing in front of her. "Don't shout, or you'll give away our position," Naruto said, signaling her to shut up, seeing how the girl calmed down. The Uzumaki removed his hand from her mouth. "What do you want, Naruto-baka?" she glared at him, though quickly blushed now that she realized she was UP close to his face due to their proximity to each other.

'Those whisker Marks do make him look cute' she thought to herself before shaking that line of thinking away. If Naruto noticed, he gave no indication that he did. "We need to work together if we want to pass this test." He bluntly started. "Why should I help you?" she shot back defiantly. "Besides, Sasuke-kun will easily pass this test once he gets the bells from Kakashi-sensei, and then he and I will be on the same team." "Tell me, Sakura-san." Naruto couldn't help but chuckle at her ignorance. Supposedly the smartest kunoichi in the class, yet she hung on to her delusions. "Have you ever seen a cell composed of two people?"

The Pinkett's mind quickly began to search her memory for anything she had seen of a genin team of two people. Seeing how the girl did not answer his question, the Jinchuriki decided to press on. "Do you think that a group of green genins fresh out of the academy have a chance against a jonin, a shinobi who has experience on the field and missions behind him?" said the blonde, earning the pink-haired girl's full attention. She looked at him with a clear need for answers to her doubts. "If I had to take a guess, this test is about teamwork, the thing the academy tried to teach us," finished Naruto, making the girl's eyes widen at the statement. Since she didn't find any flaws in his arguments.

"OK, so how are we going to work together?" she relented with a heavy sigh. "And does Sasuke-kun know?" "Sasuke is too proud to accept help," Naruto said holding his hand up and stopping the girl from speaking in defense of the emo but the hanyou didn't give her time to speak "So when he's fighting Kakashi-sensei, I'll help him so it at least appears like we are working together. While Sasuke and I are fighting sensei, you sneak up from his left side since it's his blind spot due to the headband covering his eye and go for the bells."

Sakura blinked for a moment at how well-thought-out the plan was. "This better work or else-" the pinkett girl threat died as Naruto began to walk away. "It will work," said the Jinchuriki.

With Kakashi

The silver-haired man was looking at his book with great interest while walking through a small, half-cleared meadow, at that moment he jumped back when a pair of kunai struck where he previously stood. 'well let's see what you can do' he thought as he watches Sasuke fall from the tree. "taking after Naruto and attacking me head-on, huh Sasuke?" Kakashi said without taking his gaze off his book. " Pfft, I'm nothing like that weakling," scoffed the Uchiha." And I'll be taking those bells."

He launched himself towards Kakashi and began a taijutsu fight. "I see," said Kakashi as he put away his book and began to dodge the blows of his potential student. "The Uchiha taijutsu. The intercepting fist," Kakashi said, causing Sasuke to throw a couple of punches at him again. "I'm glad to know that you know the style that I'll use to defeat you," declared the Uchiha as he launched another kick at Kakashi, who simply stepped back to avoid it.

"Of course I know it, the Uchiha way of fighting, the technique of anticipation and counterattack, it's one of the most versatile and remembered taijutsu by the Uchiha clan." When Kakshi said that, a smile appeared on the Uchiha's face. "But..." At that moment, Sasuke felt a sharp pain in his stomach that made him release all the air from his lungs. "It's no use since you still have much to go," said Kakash, causing Sasuke to raise his gaze, which was filled with annoyance. "And besides, what use is an invincible technique if you can't keep up with your opponent?" said the silver-haired jonin. This caused Sasuke to quickly get up and try to hit the silver-haired sensei again, but after about 20 seconds, the Uchiha was frowning as he gritted his teeth in frustration.

Since Kakashi was dodging all the blows, he was sending him what made him angrier was that it seemed like the Jonin wasn't taking him seriously, so he decided to go with plan B. And he began to make some hand seals, causing Kakashi's only visible eyes to widen a bit as he recognized the seals. 'Don't tell me he can also...' Kakashi thought as he watched Sasuke go through the last hand seals. "Fire style great fireball jutsu," Shouted the Uchiha as he spewed a large fireball from his mouth in Kakashi's direction.

It generated a large explosion that caused the small area of the ground where the jonin was standing to be burned, which made Sasuke smile to see the results of his jutsu, but his joy turned into frustration when he saw how, in the middle of everything, there was only a burnt log. "You're right, you are different from Naruto, because, unlike him," Kakashi said as if his voice was coming from everywhere. "you are too confident," the ground cracked, causing Sasuke to jump, barely avoiding being captured by Kakashi. "And that's why your shinobi path will end here," said the silver-haired man, watching as Sasue turned in the air and landed on his feet on the ground only to launch himself against Kakashi again.

Again, Kakashi moved faster than the black-haired boy, causing him to quickly become further frustrated, but one of his attacks left the dark-haired teen exposed for another elbow thrust. Kakashi quickly looks away to the side to see Naruto appear between the trees, where he charges at him. Quickly, the silver-haired man puts away his book and begins to fight with the blonde. Seeing this, Sasuke grits his teeth once again, stands up, and heads towards where the group was. "Interesting. Do you think you two can beat me?" Kakashi said to his two opponents as he began to block and dodge. He was about to throw a punch at Sasuke but had to cancel it when he had to block a kick from Naruto. "I don't need your help loser," said Sasuke throwing a punch at Kakash, which he dodged and was about to retaliate, but had to cancel it to block another kick from Naruto "Yes yes of course," said Naruto as he continued his attack towards the silver-haired sensei accompanied by the Uchiha.

While the two distracted Kakashi, Sakura crept out of her hiding spot and got closer to the action. Coming in from the left, just as Naruto had suggested. To her surprise, the plan was working perfectly as she was able to get just beside Kakashi and made a reach for the bells. Until she found herself in an entirely different location with Naruto being where she once was. Just in time to receive a powerful punch from Sasuke.

Sakura didn't know what to make of what she had just witnessed. Did her Sasuke-kun purposely attack just so she couldn't get the bells, or did Naruto switch places so he could get the bells for himself? None of it made sense to her. Only Kakashi, who had seen that scene along with the Uchiha's actions, but before he could say or do anything, he heard the sound of the clock, meaning the time had ended, which made him let out a sigh. "Time's up," Kakashi said as he watched Naruto get up without difficulty, so he decided to continue as he saw his three students approaching him. "None of you managed to take my bells off," said the silver-haired sensei, making Sasuke frown while Sakura looked distressed.

"Although they didn't manage to defeat me, much less take my bells away, I have to say the plan was pretty good, but things are what they are, and I only have one thing left to tell you," said Kakashi, seeing the frustration and helplessness of two of his students. "Congratulations, you passed!" said Jonin with an eye smile, earning surprised looks from two of his students, who were confused by that, so Jonin decided to explain it to them. "This test was made to see if you can work as a team. If you're wondering why, that's very simple," said Kakashi as he looked towards where the village was. At the official revelation, Sakura's mouth dropped as she cast a glance over towards Naruto. Her question was, how did he figure it out?

"There is a reason why Konoha is the most powerful village among the 5 nations, and that strength lies in cooperation and camaraderie," said Kakashi as he turned to see his students. "In this village, all shinobi have a law, those who abandon a mission for their companions are trash, but I think that those who abandon a companion for a mission are worse than trash," When the silver-haired sensei said those words Sakura was surprised but at the same time inspired by the jonin words, Sasuke simply stared at his sensei with an indifferent look. For his part, Naruto knew the meaning behind those words and why they were so heavy to Kakashi. A weight that he has tried to change ever since Kakashi started training him.

"Sasuke, I'll let what you did earlier slide, but I hope it doesn't happen again in the future," Kakashi said, giving a serious look at the boy, who only growled at being scolded. "With that said, see you in two days for our first mission," he said, vanishing in a swirl of leaves. "So, do you guys want to get something to eat to celebrate passing the test?" Naruto openly offered to his new teammates. Not that he cared if they accepted or not, and he didn't want to be near the Uchiha after the stunt he pulled.

"Like I would want to waste time with you losers," the Uchiha grunted as he walked away from the two. Naruto shrugged and walked in a separate direction, not bothering to see if Sakura was following him or not. He had left the invitation open, it was up to her if she wanted to take him up on his friendly offer.

Ichiraku's stall

"Hello, Naruto-kun," Ayame said with a warm smile, but he noticed a blush on her face as they hugged. "Hello, Ayame-chan. Sorry I haven't been here for a little while," he said as the affectionate suffix made Ayame blush again. "It's alright. I know you were preparing for anything that might happen." " Could you give me 10 bowls of ramen with everything, please?" said Naruto as he sat down. "And a small miso ramen, please," ordered the pinkett as she sat down next to Naruto. A little embarrassed about being here. Afraid of people getting the wrong idea. "Who is she, Naruto? Teuchi asked, trying to annoy the blonde hanyou. "Is she your girlfriend?" Upon hearing those words, Sakura blushed slightly while Ayame looked at her father with annoyance at his supposed joke.

"Of course not, Old Man," Naruto quickly shot it down, which made Ayame calm down. "She's my new teammate, We are celebrating passing our final test." "Nice to meet you, I'm Sakura Haruno," said the pink-haired girl introducing herself to the father and daughter duo, with the two cooks returning the genins' greeting as one went back to preparing the two orders. "if I may ask why such a small bowl?" asked the browned haired ramen chef/waitress asked curiously. "I'm on a diet," answered Sakura, earning a quirked eyebrow from both Naruto and Ayame. "Why?" asked Naruto. "Because Sasuke-kun likes thin girls," she stated, glaring at the blond. "And just so you know, I am only here because you ordered to celebrate being a team, so don't think for a second that this is a date."

Ayame only rolled her eyes at the pink-haired girl's antics and disappeared into the kitchen to prepare the orders. Naruto, for his part, only shook his head and sighed. "Okay, firstly, while you are cute. " This caused Sakura to blush, a bit taken aback by the compliment. "I'm already engaged to Anko-chan." 'As well as the others. "Also, I already shot down the old man for even implying you are anything other than a teammate." he continued, "Secondly, did Sasuke himself say she likes thin girls?" "Well, no," she answered, still blushing over his compliment. Not even Sasuke had called her cute. "So how do you know he likes thin girls?" countered Naruto. "And just how much do you know about him?"

Sakura had no real answer for this, like the horde of fangirls had all started dieting when a rumor began to circulate that the last Uchiha would only date skinny girls. None of them even questioned it. "Honestly, editing is harmful for a kunoichi," he continued, ignoring the glare he received from Sakura. "You will never be in peak condition and will lose energy a lot faster. Making you a liability for the rest of the team. Now, if you train like you should, you won't have to worry about gaining any weight because your training will burn off all the calories you take in."

"So what, I should just give up on pursuing Sasuke-Kun?" inquired the cherry blossom with sarcasm. "IF you want to pursue him, go ahead." Naruto shrugged. "But don't endanger yourself doing it." Sakura frowned at this. It sounded like he was concerned for her well-being. This was something new to her. She was used to the constant rejection and apathy from her obsession, and even her parents didn't question her choices or try to change her mind. "So what should I do then?" she asked, lost.

"First off, ignore rumors. Rumors are hardly ever true." The blonde boy stated. "Secondly, try to get to know him on a personal level. For example, Anko-chan and I. We know everything about each other. Dreams goals, even some of the odd quirks we have." In a word, Sakura was shocked. She had half expected the blonde boy to tell her to give up on Sasuke and maybe even pursue him instead. Perhaps that latter part was due to being with Kiba too much since they were friends and she sat near him in class. However, to see just how much he understood about the importance of a strong relationship surprised her. She was shaken out of her thoughts when their orders arrived.

Thanking Ayame, they both began to dig into their respective meals. As one thing kept pestering Sakura. Well, with a little goading from her inner self. "Naruto," she spoke, leaving out her usual insult to his name. "What happened during the bell test? Why did you switch places with me?" Naruto could only sigh, knowing she wasn't going to take this well. "You want the truth?" He asked, seeing her nod her head. "When you were reaching for the bells, Sasuke saw you and went to punch you instead of Kakashi-sensei. I switched myself with you to take the hit so you wouldn't get hurt."

Sakura was silent as she digested what the blonde boy had told her. Deep inside, she knew it was true, but she just didn't want to admit it. Maybe it was an accident? Yes, it was an accident. Sasuke-kun would never do that to her. "Maybe it was an accident?" she offered, causing Naruto to raise his eyebrow in response. "Maybe," he relented, knowing it wasn't. 'I just hope she wakes up soon about the prick before she gets hurt.'

Hokage tower

Throughout the room were all the Jonins that were assigned to this year's new academy graduates, who were giving their report to the Hokage on the new genin's performance. "report" Hiruzen said to the Jonins of teams 1 to 6 who had failed or needed some work. "team 8 passed, but they need work of work said a woman with long black hair and red eyes with purple eyeshadow over them that looked to be around 20.

Her ordinary outfit consists of a red armor mesh blouse with only the right shirt visible, over which he wears a suit that resembles large bandages on which had a pattern that was similar to the thorns of a rose, on his hands and thighs were wrapped with some bandages and he wears his ninja headband and ninja sandals. The woman was Kurenai Yuhi, who was currently the Jonin-sensei of Team 8 and was currently satisfied with her team, only a little worried about Hinata's change, but she could work on that.

"Team 9 is still in operation and more youthful them ever." said a man with short black hair and a somewhat exaggerated bowl cut, but what stood out most were the enormous and thick eyebrows he had, his clothing consisted of a jonin vest and full body green spandex underneath it, his ninja band was worn as a belt. This is Maito guy who, by saying that whole phrase, made the other people in the room form a drop of sweat on their heads.

"Team 10 passed they need some work but they show promise as the Future Ino-Shika-Cho," said a man who had a dark complexion, brown eyes, short colored hair, a beard, and long black sideburns, wearing his ninja band on his forehead, his clothing consisted of the standard Konoha jonin uniform, with bandages on his arms below the shoulders and a pair of bracelets on his wrists, he also wore a sash that had the kanji (Symbol) fire engraved on it. The man was Azuma Sarutobi, the current leader of Team 10. After finishing giving his report, the man took out and lit a cigarette, which annoyed more than one of those present.

Everyone turned to Kakashi, who had just opened the door as he put away his book in his kunai pouch. "Seems like you were surprised," spoke the Hokage. "Ah, yes, well, there were a few surprises," said Kakashi, holding his bandaged arm to surprise everyone present. Since Hatake's strength was famous, even if he was caught off guard, it took great skills to hurt or scratch him. "It seems so, Report," Hiruzen said, cutting all the thoughts from the rest of the Jonins.

"Team seven Passes," said Kakashi, earning the surprise of everyone present since he had failed all the previous genin teams he tested. Even the Hokage was slightly impressed by this fact. "Please explain," said the old Hokage, wanting some context, to which the silver-haired man agreed. "As the reports say, Sasuke Uchiha is very promising, but he has problems accepting help from others, has a huge superiority complex, and is too overconfident. I'm going to have to work on that," said Kakashi while sighing a little. " Sakura is good at creating strategies and is book smart but has trouble putting them into practice. Her fangirl attitude towards the Uchiha was severely downplayed, as well as her dieting and her strength and stamina. I'll have to change that."

"Finally, Naruto." When Kakashi said those words, he caught everyone's attention. "He's the most impressive out of the team, to say the least; not only could he keep up with me, he also managed to injure me slightly. The only thing he lacks is combat experience." These words surprised the jonin as they could not believe how the kyuibi's Jinchuriki could achieve such a thing. "The academy reports are wrong. Naruto used that to his advantage." "Kakashi" Hiruzens words brought everyone out of their thoughts "Did Naruto Used that?", said the Sarutobi causing everyone to tense slightly as they understood what their leader was referring to. "No, Hokage-sama, Naruto didn't use that. He more simply used Taijutsu. I'm guessing he made as I can still see mistakes he did or is in the process of creating." Said Kakashi, and no one noticed his slight anger.

"WOW, that's impressive, that young man's flames sound very youthful!!" Shouted Gai with a huge smile on his face. Being a taijutsu specialist and hearing the silver-haired man say that his curiosity was piqued. "Hey Kakashi, do you think I could train him?" asked the man with expenders. But at that, Kakashi soon turned his gaze to see him somewhat confused. "Sorry, Gai did you say something." said Kakashi making Gai scream "Damn you and your hip and cool attitude."

"Enough," said Hiruzen, silencing everyone present and staring at the Silver-haired man. "Continue, Kakashi," Demanded the leader of the lead, to which the aforementioned nodded. "The teamwork of the entire group is acceptable at best," Kakashi said. " Since when did both Naruto and Sasuke attack me simultaneously? The latter seemed to be reacting to working as a team," said the Hatake, earning curious glances from both the Hokage and his fellow joins. "Since when they were distracting me, Sakura took advantage to try and get the bells, but then Naruto had to replace him receiving a blonde that Sasuke had thrown and was gained at Sakura," said the silver-haired sensei. Causing everyone's eyes to widen at the statement.

This caused some of those present to groan at the Uchiha's actions for doing such a treacherous act, but before anyone could say anything, the Hokage spoke again. "Well, that's interesting," said Hiruzen, keeping his displeasure at the actions of the Uchiha.
