Naruto Death's agent (Rewrite)

Inuzuka compound 

"So what did you call me here for?" said Mikoto Uchiha, Head of the Uchiha Clan and one of Kushina's friends. Looking as her daughter lounged under one of the large trees that dotted their compound, stroking the fur of one of the three ninkens that always accompanied her. Tsume could see the telltale signs. Hana Inuzuka had a crush on a boy. This was the first time she could recall her daughter being enamored with a boy. And Tsume had it on good authority who that particular boy was. It wasn't hard to figure out she spent all week last week; her oldest pup would tell anyone who had the misfortune of being trapped by her about the blonde boy who had saved her ninken, much to the amusement of the Clan Head.

"My daughter is in love. So I've decided to engage her with Naruto," she said, surprising Mikoto. "While I understand you might want the council to stop them," Mikoto said, staring at her teacup momentarily. " But we both know that Naruto-kun is dating someone else," The Uchiha said, a little sad at the last part. This made Tsume smile slightly. "Yes, I know, but we both know that his case differs from everyone else's." This made the Uchiha look at her and remember the boy's parents. "You mean the CRA," Mikoto whispered, only receiving a nod from the Inuzuka. 

"Yes, being the last male of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans, he must take more than one wife to restore them," said the woman with tattoos on her cheeks. "So, what do you want me to do?" asked the Uchiha to her friend, who took a sip from her cup of tea. "I'll hint to the boy about his heritage and the CRA. My instincts are also telling me the civilian council will be making their move on getting the Uchiha in the program and I'll be damned in my daughter is taken as just a breeding machine, No offence to you Mikoto." 

"None taken," said Mikoto with a sigh. "I want you to vote in favor of him joining the CRA," Tsume finished explaining. "How do you know the rest will agree with this?" Asked the raven-haired woman, knowing that this was a very complicated subject and required the agreement of the shinobi council to agree.

"There won't be much opposition, Yamanaka, Nara, Akimichi heirs are close to him the Aburame relate to him and Shibi's son talks to him more then anyone about their interest in bugs and way to use them. Hiashi cares for his daughters even though he doesn't show it; the only ones that might cause trouble are the Hyuga elders," said Tsume with a shrug, surprising Mikoto a little.

After overcoming her surprise, the Uchiha began to ponder the pros and cons of her friend's proposal, which didn't take her long. "Okay, Tsume, I hope this works," said the raven-haired beauty. As Mikoto got up to leave "I hope Naruto-kun can handle it." Mikoto said, concerned in her worry about him, I'm sure he can handle it, besides…" Tsume dragged out her words as she approached Mikoto's ear, who jumped slightly.

"I can tell you're pretty excited about that, aren't you Mikoto-chan," the Inuzuka said as she watched with some amusement at the usual Uchiha, which was now bright red. "I'm sure he will be able to reciprocate your feelings," said Tsume, amused. "And who knows, maybe he'll do something more to reinforce that fact." She said as the Uchiha left for her compound in a hurry. "Reciprocate my…" Mikoto paused as she imagined herself and Naruto in various romantic situations that escalated in passion, eventually reaching more perverted situations, making her face turn every shade of red known. ' Maybe it's not a bad idea,' she thought as she returned to the Uchiha compound. 

With team seven 

Meanwhile, Naruto was having a sneeze attack, prompting everyone to look at hi.m. Kakashi giggled perversely as the others questioningly. "Sorry." The Uzumaki apologized to his team, causing everyone to walk again ' It's weird, I feel like someone was talking about me ' the Blonde thought as he rubbed his nose. 'Just one, I'm pretty sure more than one person is thinking about you, or don't you remember.' smirked Kurama.

After the attack of the Demon Brothers, the group became more aware of their surroundings. Not wanting to get caught off guard again, and now that they knew the truth of what was happening in Nami no Kuni, they were better prepared. Without warning, Sasuke leaped forward and threw a kunai into some random bushes, causing everyone to look at the raven-haired boy. Naruto entered the bushes with a bored sigh to see what had gotten the emo's attention. Seconds later, returning with a bloodied kunai and a white rabbit. 

'That rabbit's fur doesn't match the time of year,' thought both student and teacher at the same time. Both teacher and student opened their eyes when they heard a whistling sound in the air. "Get on the ground!" Kakashi shouted as he watched Sasuke and Naruto obey the jonin's orders to grab Sakura and Tazuna and make them crouch down. Kakashi managed to move them enough to prevent a huge sword from ripping off the heads of both his client and his student. The said sword flew until it embedded itself in a tree to one side of the group. 

So that a man stood on the fixed part of the embedded sword, everyone saw how the subject who attacked them was tall and very muscular, his skin was tanned, and his hair was short, spiky, and black. He had bandages covering his face and was only wearing baggy pants with a striped pattern, and he was wearing leg warmers that went from his wrists to his elbows. "Just look what I found. If it's none other than the famous Kakashi no Sharingan, the copy ninja, I'm not surprised that the demon brothers failed," said the man, looking at the entire group while still standing on his sword.

"Well, well, it's none other than Zabuza Momochi, the Demon of the Mist, missing-nin of Kiri and a member of the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist, wielder of the Kubikiribōchō (Decapitating Knife)," Kakashi said, recognizing the man from the bingo book. "So you're also behind this builder, or am I wrong?" said Kakashi, who was attentive to any movement of the renegade ninja. "That's none of your business, Kakashi, but to be honest, I didn't expect to see you in that situation," said the man now identified as Zabuza as he leaned on the tree trunk and then pulled his sword out of it and stood in front of the group. 

"I'm surprised that you Kakashi, a renowned shinobi from your village, would end up being the babysitter of a couple of brats who play at being ninjas," Zabuza said, looking at the group of genin and resting his sword on his shoulder. "Life is full of surprises," Kakashi said as he pulled out a kunai in each hand and got into a fighting stance."Very well, I will give you and your brats a chance to get out of this alive," Zabuza said as he pointed fixedly at Tazuna "Leave the builder alone, and you can go," said the Kiri swordsman, but seeing how none of the group moved, the swordsman simply growled in annoyance. 

"Well, in that case, I'll kill you all," said Zabuza, and then he made a sign with his hands, "Hidden mist Jutsu." Soon, a thick fog began to cover the entire place. "Team, diamond formation," said Kakashi, and then the whole group surrounded Tazuna, where he was in front, and his team each took out a kunai in their hands while looking from one side to the other in search of any sign of their opponent. "8 deadly points on the body." The entire group heard Zabuza's voice echoing everywhere. "Each one can give you a quick and painless death or a slow and agonizing one," said the former shinobi of the mist. 

These words made Tazuna tremble, who at this moment looked pale, while Sakura was nervous, shown by the sweat running down his forehead and his strong grip on his weapon. Sasuke was looking around, trying to find his enemy. For his part, the blonde closed his eyes to concentrate, and using his sensory abilities, he could notice how the mist was infused with chakra so that he could soon feel Zabuza move in different positions. 

' Damn it, I'm going to have to use it ' Kakashi thought as he lifted his ninja headband, revealing his left eye, which showed a Sharingan eye with three blades, which surprised the genins. For his part, Sasuke was in shock at seeing his clan's Doujutsu on another person. 

' How is this possible? Is Kakashi-sensei from the Uchiha clan? That's impossible; they were all murdered by that bastard Itachi,' thought the Uchiha, but before he could say anything, Kakashi spoke. "Listen, stay alert at all times, and protect the builder," said the silver-haired Jonin, with his back to his team. "Zabuza is a ninja specialized in silent assassination, so don't let your guard down at any time," declared the Hatake. 

"Wow, you're going to use that eye of yours, the one that allowed you to copy over a thousand jutsus. Heh, I'm flattered," Zabuza said from the mist. "But that's not going to save you." The whole atmosphere became heavy, which was felt by the Konoha team and Tazuna, and the latter began to have trouble breathing, while Sakura and Sasuke were not better off the pink-haired girl began to tremble and felt her whole body paralyzed the only thing that comforted her that she would get out of this all right was Naruto, surprisingly. 

For his part, Sasuke tried to force his body to move, but it didn't respond. He felt a cold that he hadn't felt since that day, since the Uchiha massacre. When the Uchiha felt that sensation again, it terrified him again, so when he looked at his kunai, he thought about stabbing it in his stomach to get rid of this feeling. 

"Breathe," Naruto said, pulling out the three people intimidated by the former Kiri-Nin's killing intent. "Take a few breaths to calm down," the Uzumaki said, as he didn't feel affected since he had been exposed to Kurama the first time they met and his sensei when training. Seeing how his two students and his client followed Uzumaki's advice, Kakashi's eyes gleamed with pride for Naruto calming himself as he ducked to dodge a slash that was going for his head. He then blocked a slash with his kunai that Zabuza threw at him to try to split him in half, seeing that the swordsman moved his sword to the side and then kicked Kakashi, who raised one of his arms to block the blow. The two soon got into a fight, with the mist domain attempting to stab Kakashi with its sword, while Kakashi, using his kunai, began to deflect the blows just enough to avoid being cut. 

Sparks flew around the place and reflected in the fog, allowing everyone present to see where the fight was taking place. "Impressive, you certainly live up to your title," said the swordsman as he leaped away, where in the air he began to trace some hand seals "But I have a job to do Water Style: Water Bullet," said Zabuza finishing a couple of hand seals, so that his face bandages came loose slightly so that from his mouth a water bullet shot out towards Kakashi. Seeing the attack, he moved to the left, managing to avoid the water Jutsu, only to have to block with his kunai another vertical cut from Zabuza's sword that was going towards his shoulder, causing the ground beneath his feet to creak slightly. 

Leaving the Konoha jonin in a fight of strength with the renegade Kiri, where the silver-haired man saw how his kunai was cracking because he had to slide over Zabuza's sword to stab him in the throat. 

But the silver-haired man opened his eyes as he saw Zabuza's body dissolve into water, causing Kakashi to change his grip on his kunai and move it to the side, where he barely managed to stop another attack from Zabuza. "A water clone," Kakashi said as he grappled with the swordsman again. "You like them," Zabuza said in a mocking voice as he applied more strength to his grip. ' He must have formed it when he was inside the mist, which means that… ' Kakashi's eyes widened as he looked out of the corner of his eye and saw three water clones heading towards where the genins were. 

"Now die," Zabuza said, bringing Kakashi out of his thoughts, then kicked him, sending the white-haired jonin back a few meters. The bandaged man soon chased after his prey and saw how he had fallen to the ground. So, before he could recover, the former Kiri-Nin sent a slash to his stomach that split the white-haired man in half, causing Zabuza to smile as the fog cleared, only to grow frustrated when he saw the two halves of the Hatake dissolve into water. At that, Zabuza feels the cold metal of a kunai on his neck as he looks to the side and sees Kakashi to his left. "Did you think it would be that easy?" Kakashi said, holding the kunai to the missing-nin's jugular. 

"You seem very calm even though you know that your team must be nothing more than a pile of blood by now," Zabuza commented funnily. They'll be fine, after all. I've been training them, besides..." the silver-haired man commented. This made Zabuza raise an eyebrow at the leaf jonin's statement. "I know how capable one of them is of taking care of himself and the rest of his teammates," said Kakashi. 

Only to be later kicked into the water. As he swam up, he noticed the water was heavy, but it was too late as Zabuza appeared, making a couple of seals. "Water prison jutsu" said Zabuza as he became trapped ' Damn, I let my guard down,' the silver-haired man thought as he felt himself starting to run out of air. ' He must have formed the clone and replaced himself with it when he was inside the mist, hiding his presence while fighting the clone so he could catch me off guard,' Kakashi thought, mentally scolding himself. 

"It wasn't bad at all, Kakashi, but you of all people should know how deadly it is to take things for granted," Zabuza replied. ' Damn it ' Kakashi thought as he felt the water in his prison begin to enter his nose ' I have to stop the water from entering my lungs and find a way out of this trap ' Hatake thought as he began to send chakra to his lungs to prevent him from drowning and eliminate the water that entered his body. As Zabuza made some water clones as the mist cleared a bit, "Run!" Kakashi shouted from the water prison he had managed to get himself trapped in. "Take the client and get as far as you can! His water clones can't travel too far from himself. I'll hold him back as much as I can!" Kakashi uses chakra to transmit his voice through the water.

"We can't do that, Sensei. You know better than us; we'll die! Plus, aren't you the one who was always talking about teamwork and never leaving someone behind? I'm not leaving you here!" shouted Naruto. When the group saw Zabuza's clones heading towards them, Naruto was about to say something until he noticed Sasuke launch himself against one of the clones and start a fight in which it was clear that the Uchiha was at a disadvantage.

The Uzumaki didn't have time to sigh as he watched two more clones head towards them, looking at Sakura, who was a little calmer but still seemed to be scared. "Sakura," whispered the blonde, making his teammate look at him, "The moment I tell you, you will throw a shuriken at each of the clones. When you do that,t support Sasuke from a distance, got it?" said Naruto with a smile that conveyed confidence. 

"Understood," said the pink-haired girl waiting for the Uzumaki's signal, feeling a wave of reassurance flow through her. When he noticed how the clones were getting closer and closer and were about 5 meters away from them, Hanyou put his hands together. "Now," Naruto yelled, causing Sakura to throw four shurikens while he began to perform a couple of hand seals. "Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu," said the Blonde, so the four shurikens that Sakura had thrown became 40. 

Heading against the clones, hitting and destroying them, taking advantage of this situation and the mist, Naruto moved away from the group enough to be covered by the fog. Then, using the body flicker to re-emerge behind Sasuke, the Hanyou pushed the Uchiha to the side to prevent the raven from receiving a fatal blow from Zabuza's clone. The Uzumaki had to dodge the renegade's sword and get to where Sasuke was, who didn't look very happy about being thrown, but the blonde ignored him and then grabbed his shirt to back away, where they both saw a pair of shurikens hit the water clone, which melted into water. 

"What do you think you're doing, getting in my way, loser!" the dark-haired boy shouted as he backed away from the demon of the mist. "Keeping your whole body together and avoid having to carry you to Konoha in a bag," the blonde replied. "Listen, Sasuke, I have a plan, but I need you to follow it," the Hanyou tried to reason. "What do you think you're doing, getting in my way, loser!" the dark-haired boy shouted as he backed away from the blonde.

"Yeah right, as if I am going to listen to a loser without a clan," Sasuke said with mockery on his face "I don't need your plan, much less to follow the orders of a peasant like you," the Uchiha said with arrogance in his voice as he watched two more clones of the mist swordsman appear. 

To which Mikoto's son jumped to confront them, causing the Uzumaki to sigh. 

' I could let them kill him and save myself a headache ' the Blonde mused while considering that idea ' But doing that would bring me a lot of trouble from the bastards of the civil council and the council of elders, but at least I could let them beat him up a little ' at that Naruto sighs ' Well it's worth dreaming ' the jinchuriki thought a little resigned. 

To see how Sasuke faces the new water clones, where one of them connected a kick to the Uchiha that sent him a few meters against a tree. 

"You'll see that this is nothing to me because now I'm going to fight for real," Sasuke declared as he stood up and once again headed toward his opponents. While Naruto headed to deal with the other clone, he swung his sword trying to cut him, to which the Hanyou dodged the cut, as he took out his sword.

It was a katana that he bought in the meantime while they prepared his. He began to move it against the clone of the mist jonin. As he blocked or swung his sword, some lines appeared from the diamond on his chest, turning into lines on his body. Zabuza's clone looked at him with narrowed eyes as Naruto used a moment of shock to thrust and destroy Zabuza's replica.

' Okay, now for the last clone and then the original' the Hanyou thought as he moved towards where Sasuke was fighting the last water clone, who deflected a blow from Sasuke's kunai so that he was then kicked again in the stomach causing the Uchiha to release all the air from his lungs and become almost unconscious. Seeing that, Naruto quickly had to move toward the clone's blind spot, which was about to deliver the final blow to the raven, so the jinchuriki threw a kunai with great force.

He managed to pierce the clone's head, destroying it. All of this was seen by a barely conscious Sasuke, causing the Uchiha to grit his teeth in anger. Naruto, seeing Sasuke's condition, quickly grabbed him, ignoring the insults the Uchiha was throwing at him, carrying him on his back and taking him to where Sakura and Tazuna were. "Sakura, check if Sasuke has any serious injuries," Naruto said to his teammate, who nodded and asked the construct to hold her backpack while she checked on the Uchiha. While doing this, Haruno saw how Naruto was moving away as he was ready for anything Zabuza threw at them while his sensei was trapped.

"Naruto, what do you think you're doing?" Sakura asked with concern at what her partner was about to do. "I'm thinking of a way to get Kakashi-nii out of there. He can't hold on much longer. We aren't anywhere close to their level, so it's better to try and help free him." Naruto said. That made Sakura's eyes widen in realization. If they escaped, would they even be able to outrun a jonin like Zabuza? But before anyone could say anything, 

For his part, Sasuke, who had managed to recover a little, looked where the Blonde was going and tried to do the same, but Sakura stopped him. "Let me go, you useless bitch " the Uchiha grunts out to his teammate."I'm just trying to help you, Sasuke-kun." Sakura insisted, trying to get the boy to his feet, only to be pushed away once more, this time more roughly. Causing the poor girl to stumble back slightly.

"I don't need the help of a weak and pathetic fan girl." He seethed, causing the poor pinkette to fight back the tears that were threatening to break free. Naruto only sighed and shook his head, having heard the uchiha's words, but his focus was on his sensei. 

As Naruto grew closer "Wow, boy are you brave or suicidal" said Zabuza, only for the next second to dodge a pair of kunai that were headed towards his head, but after doing so the swordsman felt a powerful blow to his stomach that sent him back a few meters and causing Kakashi to be released, who took a deep breath of air. "Good job, Naruto, now I can," said Kakashi, and then he coughed up some water. "Aniki, your eye still drains your chakra too fast, not to mention the extra effort of sending chakra to your lungs, so they don't get crushed already causes a huge loss of chakra," said Naruto, activating his dojutsu as he gave Kakashi a tag. "Here, sensei, use this," said Naruto as Kakashi placed the tag on his neck. He gradually felt some chakra returning as he managed to stand up a bit wabally. "Mind if I take over for a bit while you rest?" said Naruto, looking at Kakashi, who sighed. "I'll interfere if I see the chance or help you out if you are getting pushed back," said Kakashi as Naruto nodded.

"Wow, you're skilled, kid. Maybe you can give me some fun," Zabuza said as he recovered from the blow. The blonde looked at the swordsman. "I heard you're a great swordsman. If you don't mind, I'd like to test my skills with you," said the Blonde, and then he took out a kanata he used some seals to improve. Shocking Zabuza a bit before smiling.

"Wow, I didn't expect to meet a Kenjutsu practitioner, at least not one so young," said the mist renegade as he got into his combat stance. "Well, let's see how good you think you are, kid," said Zabuza. "Well, this will be interesting: Yugao's moon dance vs The Hidden Mist Kenutsu style," thought Kakashi, his eye flickering to Sasuke. " It would be better to hold back for now. I don't want the Uchiha to see too much of this style," Naruto thought, feeling the Uchiha's gaze on his back. "Besides, just by seeing him use it, he's going to demand that I teach it to her what a pain in the ass," the jinchuriki growled internally. "The Uchiha have always been crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if he demanded it, for now he hasn't awakened his shiringan yet; he's going to be even more of a pain when he does," said Kurama. 

 Naruto was the first to move, kicking the ground and launching himself at a great speed that surprised Zabuza, who managed to cover himself from the Uzumaki's cut thanks to his reflexes formed after years of experience, blocking the blow the swordsman tried to carry out a counterattack by using force, to drag the Blonde back. But the swordsman was surprised to see how he was not only able to move the Blonde, but he was also holding him in place. At that, Naruto deflects Zabuza's sword to the side and ducks under a kick that Zabuza sent him, where he begins to launch several quick slashes towards the Hanyou. So that he could begin to deflect the blows and cuts that the former Kiri-Nin, the Uzumaki saw an opening between Zabuza's blows. He quickly managed to connect a kick to his opponent's face, which left Zabuza stunned for a few seconds. 

But that was all Uzumaki needed as he moved away from his opponent a little and then placed himself in a stance that Kakashi managed to recognize so he could see how the reflection of a person appeared on his student. At that, Zabuza opens his eyes upon recognizing those words, then sees how behind the boy appeared the image of a moon, mostly dark except for the outline of one side, which was illuminated. 

The former Kiri shinobi watched as Naruto seemed to move his arms in slow motion, then suddenly disappeared. After a few seconds, Naruto appeared behind Zabuza while holding his sword vertically, with one right hand holding its handle and the other the sheath. A second later, Kiri's renegade felt several wounds open on his body, causing him to fall to his knees while using his sword as support to keep from falling to the ground, although it was of little use as he fell to the ground when he tried to get up. "That *cough* that was a great kid *cough*," Zabuza said, spitting out some blood."I wish I could keep fighting you, Zabuza-san," Naruto said, holding his katana firmly. "But I have to eliminate you," said the Blonde as he approached where he found Zabuza lying, but then the Uzumaki felt another presence near the place. 

"Then let me do the honors," a voice from the trees said, and a pair of needles were embedded in Zabuza's neck, which fell dryly to the ground. Both Naruto and Kakashi opened their eyes when they saw a ninja with a mask appear from the trees. 'A Kiri Ninja Hunter,' Kakashi thought as he looked at the guy's mask and saw the Mist Village symbol on it. The ninja hunter observed the Blonde and the silver-haired man for a few moments and then looked to the side and saw how the rest of team 7, along with the build, approached the place. Seeing this, Kakashi managed to stand up and looked at his other two students and his client. Both Sakura and Tazuna were unharmed, while Sasuke was a little bruised, but other than that, nothing serious. "Thank you for weakening him so I could deliver the final blow," said the strange ninja. "I've been hunting him for several weeks." "If you don't mind, I could check his vitals," Kakashi asked, only for the masked ninja to nod. Then Kakashi checked his pulse and noticed no sign. 

"He's dead," Kakashi said, sighing. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I'll take the body," the hunter said, causing Naruto to narrow his eyes slightly. "The secrets his body holds must not fall into enemy hands," the masked person said as he took Zabuza's body on his shoulders and disappeared in a body flicker of wind. At that, Kakashi let out a sigh and then covered his eye with his ninja band and turned to see his team. "Well, team, that was..." Before the silver-haired man could finish speaking, he began to stagger, then collapsed, and before he hit the ground, he was caught by a clone of the jinchuriki who held him. "Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura said worriedly as she walked over to see her sensei. "Don't worry, Sakura-san," said the Blonde, looking at the pink-haired girl. "he just has chakra exhaustion from everything she did," said Naruto, looking at Tazuna. "We need a place to stay so Aniki can also rest," clarified the hanyou. "Yes, my house is not far from here," said the construct. 

"Perfect," Naruto said as he summoned another clone turned into a stretcher, where they placed Kakashi. "We better get moving," the jinchuriki said, receiving a nod from Sakura and Tazuna, while the emo had his train of thought. ' How come that loser has so much power, that power should belong to me ' he thought furiously seeing himself surpassed after seeing the Blonde's abilities, but the Uchiha formed a smile ' I will force him to give me that power and his techniques, and if he doesn't, the council will force him to do it ' Sasuke thought as he watched the Uzumaki's back. For a few moments, he saw his brother Itachi. Pushing that thought aside, the Uchiha soon began to walk along with the group.

After an hour of Naruto and his clone carrying Kakashi with a stretcher, much to Sakura's surprise, she wanted to stay beside them, making sure Kakashi was okay. She blamed herself for not having much medical knowledge. Soon, they found a house behind a small forest. Tazuna had told them that thanks to him, Gato's men had not yet managed to reach his family, and the bridge builder had said to them that he was very grateful for that fact since he did not want to imagine his daughter suffering something that had already happened to other women.

Taking a key from his pocket, the builder opened the door and let the entire Konoha group in. "Tsunami-chan, I'm back," Tazuna said as someone could be heard coming down the stairs. A slender, blue-haired woman between 24 and 26 years old was wearing a red-trimmed blouse, a blue skirt that reached almost to her feet, and a pair of black sandals. She had black eyes and tanned skin. 

The woman, seeing the construct, approaches and hugs it. "Tou-san, are you okay? I was worried that something had happened to you," the woman said, to which Tazuna returned the hug. "Sorry to worry you, but look, Tsunami, I've brought help." At that, Tazuna pointed to Team 7, and Naruto approached the one now identified as Tsunami. "Excuse me, Tsunami-san, do you have a room available?" Naruto asked politely. "Our sensei overexerted himself a few moments ago," the blonde explained briefly. 

"Yes, there are some rooms upstairs where you can rest," said the woman, looking at the blonde and then guiding him to the room where three futons were lying on the ground. In one of them, the blonde clone left the silver-haired man lying down. Sasuke quickly took one of the beds and lay down on it since exhaustion had finally reached him- 

For his part, Naruto left the room and descended the stairs, arriving at the living room, where he could see Sakura sitting on a sofa looking at a cup of tea that Tsunami had given her. The Blonde noticed the distressed expression on his partner, so he approached her. "Are you okay, Sakura-san?" the Blonde asked, bringing the pink-haired girl out of her thoughts. "Yes I am, it's just that…" Sakura just sighed as she put the cup of tea down on a small table before continuing. "I'm just frustrated. I tried to help heal Sasuke's wounds, and he just rejected and insulted all my efforts," Haruno said as small tears began to form in her eyes. "I tried to get close to him, and I only received rejections and insults from him over and over again," said the pink-haired girl as she began to sob. 

Naruto could see tears starting to form around the pinkette's eyes. He knew that she was hurting on the inside from what had transpired a few hours ago. It was evident as the usual '-kun' was missing from the Uchiha's name. Gently reaching up, he wiped away the tears that were starting to form. Sakura was shocked by this gesture as she gazed up at the blonde who was looking into her eyes. At the proximity, she couldn't help but blush.

' Is he going to kiss me ?' the pink-haired Kunoichi thought, not helping as her inner 'Kiss him, kiss him, kiss him!' Inner Sakura chanted, causing the pinkette to blush even more. She closed her eyes, only to open them when she felt the Blonde wiping away the tears that had escaped from his eyes. 

"I know you're in love with him." He gently spoke, breaking her out of her trance-like state. "But unfortunately, you can't help those that don't want help. And to be honest, I don't think Sasuke will ever accept anyone's help. Currently, it seems all he cares about is himself and what others can give him."

Sakura could only nod her head in acknowledgment. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't bring herself to defend her love, mostly because she knew that her blonde teammate wasn't trying to insult Sasuke. He was merely speaking the truth. They stayed in that position for 5 minutes until the Blonde, sensing that his partner had calmed down, walked away, which annoyed Haruno at the sudden lack of warmth. 

"Where are you going, Naruto?" Sakura asked, watching the Uzumaki head toward the door. "I'm just going to the town to gather some information and see the situation outside. It'll be better when Aniki wakes up; that way, we have a better perspective of what we are facing. You should get some rest as well, " said the Blonde as he left the place and headed towards the town, surprising the pink-haired girl at his thoughtfulness.
