"This tree... this?"

Kimimaro heard Genya's words and couldn't help but follow his gaze.

A towering tree?

When did this grow here? He remembers that during the battle with the Wood Ox earlier, there was no giant tree like this.

Most of his attention had been focused on Orochimaru and Genya, so he hadn't noticed it before.

Now, seeing it with his own eyes, he felt a deep sense of awe.

When would his strength be enough to grow such a towering tree from his bone forest? Or even use bones to form a tree like this?

As these thoughts ran through his mind, he looked at Hayashi with a bit more shock. 

Could it be... that he didn't show his true strength when fighting with him?

How strong is this Wood Release ninja, really?

"This... this is impossible?" Jugo slowly turned his head, and when he saw the massive tree behind him, he couldn't help but exclaim in shock.

He had never seen such a gigantic tree before.

It was truly awe-inspiring.

This made Jugo, who had previously been somewhat dissatisfied with Hayashi, finally accept the reality. 

He was no match for the Wood Ox. And in their battle, the Wood Ox had definitely held back.

If the Wood Ox hadn't held back, he and Kimimaro probably wouldn't be seeing the sun tomorrow.

"Heh... I finally found a good base, and now this conspicuous tree shows up. Looks like I'll need to find a new place," Orochimaru said helplessly.

Although he had a few backup bases, he had just moved here not long ago, and now he had to move again.

Being targeted, it seemed, was always a hassle.

It's really getting annoying.

"I've found a new base. I'll have the people from Konoha inform you!" After thinking for a moment, he still hadn't decided on a specific base but simply mentioned it casually.

Konoha's spies?

He understands his own identity and even shows his Konoha spies to Genya.

Genya didn't dwell on this anymore and looked at Hayashi. 

"Hayashi, let him down."

Hayashi nodded, his fingers moved slightly, and the bonds around Jugo were released.

This time, Jugo didn't rage again but instead stood obediently behind Kimimaro, watching Hayashi and Genya warily.

Though he had accepted his fate, there was still some unwillingness in his heart.

"Since the deal is settled, we'll leave now!" Genya greeted Orochimaru, then turned with Hayashi and the others, heading toward the outskirts.

As they passed by Kimimaro and Jugo, Genya spoke softly, "Follow us."

Kimimaro and Jugo gritted their teeth but looked over at Orochimaru, who stood by.

"From today on, you'll follow Genya. He won't treat you unfairly!" Orochimaru nodded and added.

Although he was somewhat regretful about Kimimaro not being a vessel, he was satisfied with the collaboration with Genya.

His reason for agreeing to cooperate wasn't just because of Hayashi's Wood Release or the Uchiha lineage, but because of Genya's strength. 

Given enough time to grow, this little guy might even stand at the top of the ninja world in the future.

And so, Jugo and Kimimaro followed along.

"Genya-sama, I'm glad you came. Otherwise, I might have been controlled by genjutsu!" Once they were out of Orochimaru's range, Hayashi spoke up, looking somewhat frustrated, his words full of gratitude.

He still had a lingering sense of fear, but he also realized his own shortcomings.

When it came to genjutsu, it was practically his weakness. If he encountered Itachi again, he might fall under genjutsu once more.

"Now that you know your weakness, make sure to train hard after we return!" Genya said as he noticed Hayashi seemed to fear Itachi's genjutsu. 

He continued, "When we get back to Konoha, you should focus on learning the Spirit Transformation Technique. It can enhance your soul and mental power, giving you the ability to break free from genjutsu!"

The Spirit Transformation Technique, the more Genya trained in it, the more he realized its uniqueness. 

It could strengthen both the soul and mental power, and if trained to the extreme, it could protect the soul from harm!

Even if the physical body perishes, the soul would remain youthful.

Strengthening the soul and mind would no longer be a problem. If trained enough, resisting the effects of Tsukuyomi could be possible.

But when Hayashi would reach that level depended on his talent.

Even if he couldn't resist genjutsu for long, being able to withstand it for a short time would still be useful.

"Spirit Transformation Technique?" Hayashi listened carefully to Genya's explanation, nodding seriously. He was determined to train harder after returning. He didn't want to fall behind.

Kimimaro and Jugo, listening from behind, were a bit confused, but neither of them spoke.

The next part of the journey was dull and uneventful.

Genya was heading to the Land of Hot Water to find Hidan, so it was convenient to travel with Hayashi for a while.

The group traveled together for three days. On the third day, Hayashi stood by the roasting meat, while Jugo and Kimimaro, now more familiar with each other, sat nearby, listening to Genya and the others chatting.

It seemed that Kimimaro had been lonely in the past. He listened attentively.

Just as the group was enjoying their conversation, Jugo suddenly opened his eyes, and his body began to change.

"Run, run! I'm going to transform, get away from me!" He shouted in panic, his body beginning to undergo a terrifying transformation.

If this continues, his mind would soon be consumed.

He didn't want to hurt anyone, especially the people he had just met.

"Fall back, Jugo is going berserk!" Kimimaro immediately stood up, readying himself for combat!

Due to Jugo's physical nature, his body constantly absorbed chakra, and if it couldn't handle it, he would enter a berserk state. Kimimaro's job was to restrain Jugo so he wouldn't harm anyone.

Bang!

At that moment, a huge object slammed into Jugo's body and opened its large mouth to bite down hard.

It was the Samehada, absorbing Jugo's chakra.

Instantly!

A portion of Jugo's chakra was devoured, followed by another bite.

As Samehada continued to consume his chakra, Jugo's transforming body started to revert to its original form, and the savage look in his eyes faded, returning to clarity.

"What... is this?" Jugo asked, confused.

"This is Samehada; it can absorb the chakra inside you!" Genya looked at the confused Jugo and slowly spoke, "Since you can't control your chakra, let this Samehada help you for now."

"Samehada?" Jugo murmured, his hand tentatively touching the spiny Samehada.

Samehada seemed pleased with Jugo's touch, its massive body swaying against him, clearly satisfied with its future long-term master.
