After the punch landed, Shin was slightly disappointed.

Zephyr's age may not make him the oldest among the senior generation, but the decline in his strength has been extremely obvious, to the point of falling out of the Admiral rank.

After the shockwave passed, Zephyr's face showed slight embarrassment while many of the remaining marines coughed up blood directly. Only a few senior officers seemed unaffected.

It should be noted that Shin's punch only used his armament haki and pure physical strength. His strength now rivals that of a Four Emperors' full-force attack.

Even this level of attack was difficult for Zephyr to withstand, and he couldn't protect the marines behind him. It was clear his strength had seriously declined.

Seeing that Zephyr couldn't serve as a proper challenge, Shin stopped holding back. Instantly, he transformed, dragon scales covering his body, becoming a half-dragon man. Then he struck with another punch.

Zephyr, who had just withstood one attack, felt a sense of dread and was even more astonished as he saw Shin's half-beast transformation.

"This is... the Azure Dragon fruit! How could this be possible?"

Kaido isn't dead yet, so how did Shin end up with this fruit? And what was that strange black aura he saw earlier?

An individual possessing multiple devil fruits—an existence that has been almost fictitious on the seas—had appeared right before him, leaving Zephyr with a tremendous psychological shock.

However, despite Zephyr's shock, Shin noticed his momentary distraction and increased the weight of his punch, adding even more chakra to the blow.

He didn't use advanced techniques like Eight Gates—just the basic chakra enhancement to augment his body. Combined with his physical power, enhanced by his half-zoan transformation, this strike packed almost double the force of the previous one.

With a resounding bang, Zephyr nearly spat blood, and his supposedly indestructible seastone mechanical arm shattered into pieces. While seastone is extremely durable, the internal machinery has joints and weaker parts, making it vulnerable to powerful blows.

"Admiral Zephyr, it seems you won't be sending me to Impel Down this time." After the blow, Shin crossed his arms and smiled.

Swallowing blood, Zephyr shouted, "Everyone, retreat immediately! Quickly!"

"Teacher!" Ain, Shuzo, and the others shouted in shock. They had not expected Zephyr to be defeated so easily.

One of them—a man with a flamboyant outfit resembling a ninja or a clown—gritted his teeth. "Teacher, this time, we won't run away!"

He began dancing on the spot, and dozens of vines emerged from the ground, stretching toward Shin.

"What is this? A monkey's version of Wood Release?" Shin observed the vines, finding them somewhat amusing. On the other side, Ain's hands ignited with pink flames, which she hurled at Shin.

The two coordinated smoothly; clearly, this wasn't their first time employing this tactic.

Shin was wary of the flames. Although he didn't recall Ain's specific ability, he knew that paramecia-type devil fruits could be incredibly tricky. Naturally, he didn't want to let those flames touch him.

Clasping his hands together, Shin gave the dancing man a wry grin. "Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"

A mass of trees erupted from the ground, dwarfing the vines summoned by his opponent, which now seemed as frail as hemp rope.

At that moment, Ain's flames hit one of the trees, instantly erasing it. Shin's eyes narrowed, becoming more cautious of her ability.

In reality, Ain possesses the Return-Return Fruit, which can reverse the age of any object by up to 12 years. The trees created by the Deep Forest Emergence jutsu had existed for only a few seconds and were erased in an instant. If it had been a natural tree, at most it would have been made younger.

Shin remained cautious, while Binz, the dancing man, and the members of the Neo Marines were utterly shocked.

"This... what is going on? Since when did you become so powerful, Binz?"

"Why are these trees attacking us? And the range is enormous!"

Listening to his comrades' exclamations, Binz broke into a cold sweat, panic visible on his face. "Something must have gone wrong! Could it be that my technique wasn't properly executed, so the plants are going haywire?"

"What's happening? Who knew the powers of the Grow-Grow Fruit were this incredible?"

Shin twitched, somewhat amused by this world's low-level awareness. Despite the Marines's usual level-headedness, this scene was entirely baffling.

They had just seen Shin clap his hands and shout the Deep Forest Emergence jutsu, yet Binz believed it was an issue with his Devil Fruit. This is truly remarkable.

However, the power of the Deep Forest Emergence jutsu in this world is notably weaker than in the Naruto World. This may be because the world lacks natural energy, reducing the vitality-dependent jutsu's effectiveness. Furthermore, people in this world don't have chakra, so the trees' chakra-absorbing abilities aren't applicable. While they can drain some physical energy, it's far slower than absorbing chakra.

An ordinary Vice Admiral, even if immobilized, would likely take hours to be fully drained, so they don't notice any physical depletion.

This is also why they can still move freely here.

Suddenly, a path was smashed through the forest created by the Deep Forest Emergence jutsu. Zephyr frowned and shouted, "Binz, you idiot! This isn't your Grow-Grow fruit at all; it's the enemy's ability! Didn't you notice he's the only one not attacked by the trees?"

"What?" Binz was stunned. "What kind of devil fruit is this? Or rather, how many devil fruits has he consumed?"

Shin wasn't in the mood to explain. This wasn't a devil fruit ability anyway—suddenly, a swift figure flashed forward as he delivered a punch to Binz's head, sending shockwaves through the forest as Binz fell unconscious.

"You fiend, don't touch my students." Zephyr's eyes reddened as though recalling a painful memory. His aura surged, his remaining fist wrapped in pitch-black haki, a fierce determination emanating from him.
