NARUTO: GOD LEVEL FORGING SYSTEM

Chapter 56: CHAPTER 56

Kazuki meticulously prepared hundreds of forging materials, carefully recording their corresponding numbers on each one.

No. 1: Profound Iron.

No. 2: Cryolite.

No. 3: Cloud Crystal Ore.

No. 4...

If any merchant laid eyes on the materials Kazuki was using for forging, they would be utterly shocked—perhaps even driven mad with envy. Each of these resources was extremely rare, some priceless beyond measure, capable of making even the most composed individuals tremble with greed.

Only someone like Kazuki's father, the powerful merchant Takeshi, could have gathered such a vast collection of materials in such a short period. Some of these minerals weren't even available on the open market—only in the black market, hidden from ordinary eyes.

With everything in place, Kazuki began the forging process. One by one, he placed the minerals onto the forge. The searing flames consumed them, turning the entire forge a deep, molten red. Under the intense heat, the materials melted into liquid, glowing brightly in the dim air.

At the same time, Kazuki channeled his chakra into the mixture, wrapping the liquefied minerals in his energy. The chakra threads intertwined each substance, binding them together mid-air into a delicate, thread-like structure.

Four years ago, when Kazuki advanced from a junior blacksmith to an intermediate one, his forging skills had already surpassed the conventional techniques of the Naruto world. Even Mifune, the most skilled blacksmith in the Land of Iron and the epitome of craftsmanship, would struggle to match Kazuki's expertise.

But this time, he wasn't simply forging a weapon—he was creating a Zanpakutō.

This blade required his absolute focus, every ounce of his skill, and 200% of his spiritual power. A weapon of this caliber belonged to the realm of legendary artifacts—on par with only the six greatest ninja tools in existence.

"Haaah!"

With a deep breath, Kazuki let out a powerful shout and swung his hammer down with full force. His expression remained eerily calm, like the still surface of a lake, undisturbed by the storm of flames before him. Again and again, the heavy hammer descended.

With each strike, he channeled more chakra into the process. He gestured, and from across the forge, more materials lifted into the air, wrapped in his energy, and flew towards him. As soon as they landed on the forge, they melted into shimmering liquid, merging seamlessly with the rest.

Each swing of the hammer purified the minerals, burning away impurities until only the purest essence remained. The once-cloudy ores transformed into a breathtaking, crystal-clear sky blue, reminiscent of the depths of an ocean untouched by time.

Bit by bit, the liquefied materials merged, layering onto the forming blade like threads of sky-blue silk. The molten essence fused into the growing blade, embedding itself into the weapon's very core.

The sight was mesmerizing—almost like witnessing a celestial phenomenon unfold.

With each successive step—refining, reforging, tempering—the weapon's form gradually emerged. The ice-blue blade gleamed, reflecting an ethereal silver-white light, exuding an aura of frigid power akin to the boundless snowfields of the north.

Kazuki's lips curled into a slight smirk. Excitement stirred within him.

Though this was his first time forging a 6-star difficulty weapon, his mastery of the craft had already reached near-perfection. The only true challenge lay in the immense mental strain required to complete the process.

The higher the weapon's grade, the more intricate the forging process became. For a Zanpakutō like Daiguren Hyōrinmaru, Kazuki had to go through hundreds of forging materials and perform thousands of precise steps—each one executed flawlessly.

There was no room for error.

Every step had to flow seamlessly into the next, like an unbroken chain. Only then could he forge the ultimate weapon.

The strain was beginning to take its toll. As he neared the final stage, dizziness crept over him, his vision blurred, and a sharp, piercing pain shot through his mind—his spiritual energy was nearing its limit.

"Just a little more!"

Kazuki clenched his teeth, gripping his hammer tighter.

With sheer force of will, he slammed the hammer down once more. Despite the searing pain in his mind, he refused to falter. His entire being was focused on a single goal—completion.

And then—

A sudden burst of energy erupted from the forging table.

A terrifying force surged from within the forming blade, sending shockwaves through the air.

The weapon was awakening.

When the surge of spiritual energy appeared, it signified one thing—

the Zanpakutō forging was complete.

"Hu~~"

Kazuki let out a long breath, his body finally relaxing. The intense concentration from the forging process had pushed his mind and spirit to their limits. Now that it was over, exhaustion crashed over him like a tidal wave.

He didn't even have the energy to examine the newly forged Zanpakutō before he felt his consciousness slipping. Exiting his inner world, his vision darkened, and his body collapsed onto his bed. He fell into a deep sleep instantly.

Three Days Later

When he finally awoke, his vision was blurry—a vast expanse of white filled his sight. As his eyes adjusted, he realized the "white void" was just the ceiling above him.

A faint beeping sound registered in his ears. Something cool was attached to his right hand. An IV drip?

His mind raced. A hospital?

Before he could make sense of it, a sudden, loud voice rang out beside him.

"Brother! He's awake!"

The next moment, a small figure rushed to his side, flinging herself at him.

"Brother, you're finally awake! Do you know how worried we were?!"

The familiar voice and warm embrace confirmed it—it was Tenten. She clung to him tightly, her grip nearly suffocating.

Kazuki groaned, rolling his eyes. "Oi, Tenten… Are you trying to strangle me? Murdering your own brother?"

But when he tried to push her away, he realized something was wrong. His body had no strength—his limbs felt like lead, refusing to move.

It was then that his mother, Keiko, stepped in. Gently but firmly, she pulled Tenten back.

"Tenten, your brother just woke up. He's still weak. Don't hold him so tightly."

Tenten pouted but nodded.

"Go get him some water," Keiko instructed. "And bring the food we prepared. He hasn't eaten in three days."

"Okay!" Tenten chirped, dashing out of the room.

After drinking some water and eating, Kazuki finally felt some strength return to his body. He let out a chuckle, shaking his head at the situation.

So that's what happened…

The process of forging his Zanpakutō had consumed far more of his mental energy than he expected, draining his spiritual power to the point of complete exhaustion. His family, seeing him unresponsive for days, must have panicked and rushed him to the hospital.

Though Kazuki felt fine after resting, his family insisted he stay in the hospital for observation. Only after two more days and a full medical checkup did they allow him to leave.

However, the very next day, he received a formal notice from Anbu.

Three new members had been assigned to his team. With their squad now complete, they were ready to begin operations.

Dressed in Anbu gear and donning his fox-patterned mask, Kazuki swiftly made his way to the Anbu headquarters. There, he met his newly assigned teammates.

Their codenames were Sunflower, Qing, and Haidao. Two men, one woman—a standard Konoha Anbu team composition.

Sunflower, the only female of the group, carried herself with quiet confidence. Qing and Haidao stood at attention, their demeanor disciplined but not rigid.

All three had recently completed Anbu's rigorous selection and training program. Unlike Kazuki, who had been personally recruited by the Hokage and assessed by Anbu Captain Kakashi, these three had undergone the full process before being placed under his command.

Standing in the dimly lit Anbu stronghold, Kazuki studied his new team. It's time to see what they're capable of…
