Naruto : I Aspire To Become Hokage Man

The remaining Kage stared at Naruto solemnly.

"So strong..."

Gaara fixed his gaze on Naruto. "As expected, he's the man I acknowledged."

Naruto felt a chill run down his spine.

"Ahem! Peace is what's most important..." Mifune coughed twice. "Please, give me some face here."

Chojuro muttered, "Get out."

The other guards glared, but Naruto slowly sat back in his seat as if nothing had happened. Behind him, Fugaku and Shisui resumed their positions in silence.

Boom!

A burst of lightning cracked through the rubble—Raikage stormed out, his body wrapped in Lightning Release Chakra Mode. He charged directly toward Naruto.

Cee and Darui quickly intercepted him, whispering urgently into his ears.

Raikage glared fiercely but withdrew his chakra armor and sat down heavily, seething.

"Ahem!" Mifune straightened up quickly. "Gokage, please remove your bamboo hats. At Lord Raikage's call, we have gathered the Five Kage here today."

As he spoke, he glanced at Naruto.

"What are you staring at? Keep going!" Naruto said impatiently.

"I am Mifune, the appointed mediator of this meeting," Mifune said, clearing his throat. "Let's begin."

"I'll go first. Listen up!" Gaara suddenly interjected.

"Huh?"

Onoki cut in with sarcastic amusement, "The changes in the Five Kage are truly remarkable. To become a Kage at such a young age is impressive. Your father must have taught you well, though I hear your manners didn't catch up."

"Indeed," Gaara responded indifferently. "That's exactly why I sit here today as Kazekage."

"I was once captured by Akatsuki as a Jinchūriki. I always saw Akatsuki as a major threat. I sent requests for aid to you all many times. Only the Hokage responded. The rest of you ignored me. Now that Jinchūriki from all over the world have been taken, there's nothing left to say."

Gaara finished his speech without emotion.

"So the first thing the major villages do when a Tailed Beast is taken is cry for help?" Chojuro scoffed. "Shouldn't they have tried to recover it secretly to maintain their prestige?"

"Even if they have the Tailed Beast, it's not an immediate threat unless they can control it," Mei Terumi said. "Jinchūriki grow up with their Tailed Beasts. Controlling them isn't easy."

"As far as I know, only Konoha's Uchiha Madara, Senju Hashirama, the Fourth Mizukage Yagura, and Cloud's Killer Bee have truly controlled a Tailed Beast," Onoki added smugly. "Looks like it's over for the rest."

"Shisui!" Fugaku called out suddenly.

Shisui nodded.

Boom!

Raikage slammed his fist on the desk. "Enough of this nonsense!"

The Five Kage bodyguards instantly appeared at the center of the conference table, weapons drawn.

Mifune looked pale and swallowed hard. "This is a meeting room. Please restrain yourselves."

"Yawn~" Naruto stretched lazily and dropped his feet from the table. "Stand down, Fugaku, Shisui."

The other Kage also signaled their guards to step back.

Raikage sank back into his seat, fists clenched.

"Konoha, Iwagakure, Sunagakure, and Kirigakure—traitors from your own villages formed the Akatsuki!" Raikage said furiously. "And I've already investigated and punished those involved on my side. Including the former Mizukage, who secretly hired Akatsuki! I didn't come here to negotiate. I came to hold you accountable!"

"Cough, cough!" Mifune coughed to regain control. "As a neutral party, allow me to speak. The Akatsuki leader has captured eight of the nine Tailed Beasts, using the conflicts between nations to expand their influence."

"Enough with the speeches!" Raikage snapped.

"Still," Mifune pressed, "with all Five Kage gathered here, this is a rare opportunity. Perhaps we should form a joint Shinobi Alliance to deal with Akatsuki."

"Not interested," Naruto replied immediately.

"I agree," Raikage said, glancing coldly at Naruto.

"Then comes the question of who leads the alliance?" Onoki asked with interest.

"If we each push for our own leader, it'll just turn into endless arguing," Mifune said firmly. "To respect neutrality, I propose I serve as the commander."

The four Kage and Naruto: "..."

Are you out of your mind?

"Hmph! None of the Akatsuki members originated from my village! You can't entrust leadership to someone without achievements. I should be the one to lead!" Raikage barked.

"Your temper's your qualification?" Onoki pointed at the shattered table and laughed. "Let's be honest. It should be me."

"You?" Raikage sneered. "You've already got one foot in the grave and still want to command troops?"

"You...!" Onoki was fuming. The meeting room descended into chaos.

"Bastard!" Raikage shouted, raising his fist to smash the table again.

"HELLO!!"

Suddenly, a White Zetsu emerged from the center of the meeting room.

Swish!

All the Kage bodyguards instantly surrounded him on the table, blades drawn.

"...Yawn~" Naruto gave another bored yawn.

"It's Akatsuki!" Gaara said seriously.

Onoki nodded.

"Uchiha Sasuke is here~" White Zetsu said gleefully. "Come and get him."

Boom!

Raikage was on him instantly, grabbing his neck in a lightning-fast motion.

"So fast!" White Zetsu gasped.

"Where is Uchiha Sasuke?!" Raikage shouted, gripping him tighter. "Answer me! Or I won't hold back!"

"Well, if you insist," White Zetsu said with mock innocence, "then allow me to offer some advice—"

Crack! Raikage snapped his neck.

"Let's move!" Raikage ordered.

"Yes!" Cee responded, beginning to cast perception ninjutsu.

Everyone else: "...Couldn't you have waited for him to finish?!"

"Lord Naruto!" Fugaku and Shisui turned to Naruto.

"Don't worry. Just follow the shadow clone stationed at Rihui," Naruto replied, yawning.

"Understood!" They answered and prepared to pursue Raikage.

"Lord Raikage!" Cee suddenly canceled the jutsu and signaled him urgently.

"Yotsuki!" Boom!!

Raikage smashed a massive hole in the wall of the meeting room.

Raikage and his guards sprinted out without a second thought.

Mifune: "...Are you kidding me?!"

"Shisui!" Fugaku gave a nod. The two vanished from Naruto's side in a flash.

"There's a massive chakra disturbance below!" Cee informed Raikage as they dashed through the halls.

"Where?!" Raikage growled.

"Directly beneath us!" Cee realized. "Lord Raikage, if that's true—"

Boom~! "Lightning Release: Chakra Mode!"

Raikage shattered the ceiling with a single punch, leaping down.

"Sasuke's up there!" Karin shouted, startled.

Raikage crashed down from above, stone and steel raining around him.

"You little bastard! Time for you to see what it means to lose your brother!"
