Naruto: I Draw Power Into Reality

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Dad Said Wife

However, there was an issue with the Sharingan—Akaba wasn't an Uchiha. Would he even be able to turn it off at will?

That was unclear; perhaps only by obtaining it would he understand.

This created a vicious cycle—he couldn't afford to test it unless he didn't care about Konoha and planned to leave.

"Never mind. I'll wait for the next volume and see how the Uchiha react."

Akaba shook the thoughts from his head.

In the next volume, Kakashi's other eye would make its appearance, possibly offering clues into the Uchiha's stance.

But another matter to watch closely was Danzo—what would his reaction be upon seeing this chapter?

Everything remained uncertain.

Handing over Volume Three, Akaba became so distracted that he nearly bumped into Tsunade, who was returning with the children around the corner.

"Finished talking with Granny?"

Tsunade seemed slightly surprised—the conversation had ended much sooner than expected.

"There wasn't much to discuss. I just brought Kyoyuki to the Uzumaki clan to handle some arrangements."

Akaba explained.

"Go ahead. We have others to deal with as well."

Tsunade did not try to stop him.

During these difficult times, all other concerns had to be put aside until they resolved the matter of these Uzumaki children.

Akaba nodded, signaling Uzumaki Kyoyuki to follow him.

"I'm leaving now. Come find me if anything comes up."

The little girl softly said goodbye to the rest.

Among the ten children, she possessed the highest talent, and also remained the calmest.

"Goodbye, Kyoyuki."

After exchanging farewells, the little girl walked over to stand beside Akaba.

While walking down the street, her eyes scanned both sides nervously, and her hand trembled slightly.

"Don't worry. They won't dare do anything to you."

Akaba said in a calm, reassuring tone.

"Mm."

It wasn't just Kirigakure that coveted the Uzumaki bloodline—Danzo had his eyes on it too.

But the Third could handle it. Akaba felt no concern at all.

"First, we're going to meet the Clan Leader to settle your identity issue. Your current identity is my younger sister, so from today onward, you might temporarily change your surname to Sakuma."

Akaba explained while walking.

The little girl paused for a moment, then looked at him suspiciously.

"Dad said I'm your wife."

"..."

What had that old man told his own daughter?

Akaba felt like throttling Uzumaki Shuhai to death. One sentence like that could drive even the gentlest man to drastic action, but fortunately, Akaba remained strong-willed. Facing those bright, innocent eyes, he firmly denied it, shaking his head. "Just pretend to be my sister. Ignore what your dad said."

She nodded without further comment.

Akaba shelved any underestimation. He realized the little girl was unusually mature—clueless on the surface, yet sharp beneath.

From now on, he needed to watch himself around certain things.

Such as drawing blood.

Could Uzumaki blood help reduce the points required for future acquisitions? Akaba needed further testing.

Anbu.

"Danzo, call off your Root."

Before Danzo could even begin setting things up, Hiruzen—who had just returned—had already confronted him.

"Hiruzen, Uzumaki Kyoyuki would make the ideal candidate to become the next Jinchuriki. We should keep control of her."

Danzo stated seriously.

"No, she is the new Clan Leader of the Uzumaki. She must not be endangered."

Hiruzen shook his head.

"Anyone can be a Clan Leader, but we cannot afford to lose a potential Jinchuriki."

"Your naivety and weakness will doom Konoha," Danzo said coldly.

"I said stop!"

Hiruzen snapped fiercely, his expression icy.

"You!"

Danzo clenched his fists. Finally, he took a deep breath, snorted coldly, and sat back down.

"Also, Wave Country is not suitable now. Call Sakumo and the others back."

Hiruzen continued.

"Hiruzen, you!"

Danzo shot to his feet immediately, face twisted with fury.

"The Five Great Villages have just endured war. We cannot afford further provocations. Secret support for Uzumaki Village is our absolute limit."

Hiruzen declared.

"Whose order is this?!"

"Mine. The Third Hokage!"

For once, Hiruzen stood his ground like never before, refusing to yield an inch.

"As you wish!"

Danzo tightened his fist, even more determined to expand Root's influence.

"This is the young Kyoyuki?"

Sakuma Goro studied her curiously, giving her a careful look before pulling out a scroll from beneath the table.

"Yes, Clan Leader. However, I'd like to register her as my younger sister."

Akaba said.

"Your sister?"

Goro was taken aback, then holding up the scroll, he said, "But this..."

Akaba took it and glanced briefly. It recorded numerous Sealing Techniques of the Uzumaki clan, each locked behind specialized seals requiring unique rituals.

He turned to the little girl and asked, "Can you unlock this scroll?"

The little girl looked at the clan leader and gave a slight shake of her head.

"It's fine. Anyway, this belongs to you two now."

Goro gave a strained smile. After a pause, he added, "Since you insist, I'll list her as your sister, but she won't be entered into the official clan registry."

"That's fine."

Akaba didn't care about the registry. Not being on it himself wasn't an issue either.

If he grew strong enough, he could carve out a clan of his own. If he remained weak, joining the Sakuma clan would only make him someone else's pawn.

"Hn, go settle in first."

Goro nodded and lapsed into silence again.

Akaba left with the scroll while Goro and unseen watchers remained wordless in the room.

A while after leaving the clan leader's home, Akaba glanced back coldly.

"There was someone else in the room earlier."

Uzumaki Kyoyuki whispered softly.

"I know."

Akaba not only sensed another presence; he also suspected the second person was likely from Anbu—or more accurately—"Root!"

The clan leader had dealings with Root!

His alertness spiked as he mentally marked Sakuma Goro as untrustworthy.

"After this, you must never leave my house."

Akaba said seriously.

The little girl gave a slight nod and followed him away.

I hope the Third acts fast.

Akaba touched the scroll thoughtfully.

This isn't just about Uzumaki blood—it's dangerously hot stuff.

"Forget it. They wouldn't dare steal outright. If they try, I won't go down easy."

He strode forward slowly.

Before entering his home, he paused at the doorstep.

Nowhere near as grand as the mansions of Uzumaki elites—no wonder everyone just climbs in through the window when they come looking for me.

"Brother, is this really our home?"

The little girl looked up.

"Yep. Inside are your foster parents too."

Akaba ruffled her hair and led them inside.

Sakuma Chiaki and Sakuma Saiki were both there, clearly unaware of what was happening. When Akaba entered with Uzumaki Kyoyuki, they froze for a moment.

"Who is this?"

A few seconds passed before Sakuma Chiaki pointed at Kyoyuki, looking totally baffled.

"She's my adopted younger sister — your new daughter."

Akaba's voice dipped slightly as he finished the sentence, unable to shake off a wave of embarrassment.

He himself was a 'leftover' son from another realm, and now he'd brought them back a 'leftover' daughter too. Thinking about it carefully, he felt truly guilty toward them.

"Daughter?"

Sakuma Saiki blinked in surprise for a moment, then quickly regained her composure and said warmly, "Bring her in first. You must've had a long trip. Go take a shower and change clothes."

She knew better than to press for answers right now — there'd be time enough to ask questions later.

"Thank you."

The little girl whispered. She seemed to hesitate, her lips twitching like she wanted to add something more, but then she just kept quiet.
