Naruto: I Have Doraemon

Chapter 162: Chapter 162 Hinata's Sense Of Crisis, Sand Sculpture Konohamaru

Konoha

Hyuga Clan Compound

"You're saying… you're my nephew?"

An 8-year-old Hanabi Hyuga stared at Boruto, who was standing protectively near Hinata, her pure white Byakugan eyes wide with curiosity.

"Yes, that's right!" Boruto replied, nodding earnestly. "Auntie, you're going to be a powerful ninja in the future…"

Before Boruto could finish, Hanabi's face lit up with excitement.

"A powerful ninja?! Kyaaaa!" she squealed, running out of the room. "I'm going to tell Father right away—I'll be a strong ninja one day!"

Her childlike enthusiasm brought a small, wistful smile to Boruto's face.

Hanabi's cheerful voice seemed to awaken Hinata, who had been unconscious. Slowly, her beautiful lavender eyes fluttered open.

"Mom, you're awake!" Boruto exclaimed, rushing forward in relief.

Hinata, still groggy from fainting earlier, almost blacked out again from Boruto's loud voice. She held herself together, though, and instead gave him a flustered look.

"You—don't call me that! I'm not your mother!" Hinata protested softly, sitting up and pulling the blanket closer around her as her cheeks turned pink.

"Mom, you are my mother!" Boruto declared firmly. "I'm from the future, and you're my mom. Naruto is my dad. You gave birth to me and my little sister, Himawari."

Hinata blinked in shock, but before she could respond, Boruto continued.

"I've already confirmed this with Grandpa Hiashi and Uncle Neji. It's the truth! Mom, you have to take the initiative and fight for Dad! I saw him earlier with Aunt Sakura. You need to act now!"

Boruto's voice grew more urgent as he added, "My sister and I don't want to disappear before we're even born!"

To prove his point, Boruto recounted several family anecdotes that Hiashi had shared with him in the future. He even demonstrated some basic Gentle Fist techniques, though they were clumsy and far from polished. Still, the moves were precise enough to surprise Hiashi and earn recognition from the elders.

"Himawari? Naruto-kun… and Sakura? Together?" Hinata murmured, her disbelief evident as she processed Boruto's words. Her voice trembled slightly.

"Mom, forget about Aunt Sakura!" Boruto said, exasperated. "You and Dad are the perfect couple. You're meant to be together. My sister and I are counting on you!"

Seeing Hinata's doubt, Boruto reached into his ninja pouch and pulled out a small medical kit.

"What's this?" Hinata asked, watching as Boruto carefully opened the kit.

Inside was a photograph printed on the inner lining. It depicted a family of four: an older Hinata and Naruto stood side by side, smiling warmly, with two children—Boruto and a younger girl—grinning in front of them.

Hinata's eyes widened in shock as she stared at the image. Though the faces of the adults were slightly older and more mature than their current selves, there was no mistaking who they were.

"This… this is…" Hinata's voice trailed off, her lavender eyes fixed on the smiling faces of her future family.

"Now do you believe me?" Boruto said gently, pushing the medical kit toward her. "This is the genin gift you prepared for me in the future, Mom. And now, I'm giving it to you."

Hinata carefully picked up the kit, her gaze lingering on the photo. "You said… your name is Boruto?" she asked hesitantly.

"Yes," Boruto confirmed with a nod. "I'm your eldest son, Uzumaki Boruto. And the girl in the photo is my younger sister, Uzumaki Himawari. She inherited your Byakugan, and she's way more talented as a ninja than I'll ever be."

Boruto's tone turned slightly exasperated as he thought about his younger sister's terrifying potential.

"Boruto… Uzumaki Himawari…" Hinata repeated softly, her blush fading as her expression grew more resolute. Determination flashed in her eyes.

Hinata had always been gentle and soft-spoken, but deep down, she possessed an unshakable inner strength. Boruto's words and the undeniable evidence in the photograph had convinced her—almost completely.

As the saying goes, a mother's love makes her strong.

Though she didn't show it outright, Hinata had already made up her mind.

"Boruto… don't worry. I won't let you disappear," she said firmly, her voice carrying a newfound resolve. "But tell me more—what happened between Sakura and your dad? And what else do I need to know about your world and this one?"

Though a faint trace of shyness lingered in her expression, Hinata's tone was determined. She wouldn't let Boruto see any weakness in her.

Boruto hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath.

"Well… it's like this…"

When Boruto saw Hinata ask this question, he was instantly overjoyed and began to tell her about seeing little Sakura holding Naruto's arm while shopping, along with the relationships he knew about in that world.

Fortunately, Boruto was still somewhat sensible and didn't mention anything about little Sakura's future marital status. He only said that she was single and had been working at Konoha Hospital.

At this time, Naruto was completely unaware of the changes happening with Boruto and Hinata. He was currently dealing with the combined pressure of Tsunade and Bai, trying his best to fight back.

Boruto cheerfully followed Hinata as they went to find Naruto. However, Hinata's expression seemed a little complicated.

"Boruto, why don't you go back? I can handle this on my own…" Hinata glanced at Boruto, trying to hide her feelings. After a brief moment of hesitation, she whispered.

This felt a little strange for Hinata—asking her son to help her capture her husband. It made her feel a bit shy and reluctant to let go.

"Hahaha… Mom, I understand, I understand," Boruto chuckled, his face lighting up with a smile. "I'm going for a walk!"

With that, he quickly ran off to the side street.

"Phew…" Hinata sighed in relief as Boruto disappeared from view. A blush spread across her face as she felt a little embarrassed.

She had already made up her mind, but for some reason, she still felt hesitant to move forward. Hinata walked slowly toward Naruto's house, her thoughts swirling.

"I knew it would be like this! Looks like I, Boruto-sama, will have to take matters into my own hands…"

Boruto, who had been hiding around the corner, watched Hinata's slow retreat. He muttered to himself with a grin.

Just as Boruto was about to make his move, an arrogant voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"What are you sneaking around for?"

"None of your business! Who are you, anyway?" Boruto snapped back angrily.

But when he turned around, he saw the leader of the group—a kid with a confident expression—and two younger kids behind him. His eyes widened in surprise.

"DAX…" Boruto started to speak but then recognized the kid in front of him. He quickly exclaimed, "Wait! Is that…?"

"Yes, I am Konohamaru Sarutobi, the grandson of the Third Hokage and the future Hokage!" Konohamaru proudly raised his head, introducing himself with an air of arrogance.

"Oh, really? Mr. Konohamaru," Boruto muttered under his breath. "And those two must be Ise Udon and Fusai Moe Huang, Jōnin. But you, a Hokage's grandson, are even more arrogant than my Hokage father. You've got a stinky attitude, you really deserve a beating!"

Boruto gave Konohamaru a strange look, considering whether he should take advantage of the moment and pick a fight.

"Konohamaru, Boruto? What are you two doing here?"

Naruto casually walked up, holding a bunch of meatballs, completely surprised to see them. He had just managed to escape Tsunade's grip and was looking for something to eat.

"Dad! Why are you here?" Boruto quickly rushed over to Naruto. "Take me home, quickly! I need to go to the bathroom!"

Before Naruto could respond, Konohamaru and his companions stared at them, dumbfounded.

"Wait, dad?!" Konohamaru and the others exclaimed at the same time.

"As expected of my big brother! You had a kid so early?" Konohamaru said, his eyes wide with admiration. "But brother, shouldn't this be kept a secret? Don't let little Sakura find out…"

Konohamaru was the first to recover from the shock. He stretched out his thumb and grinned at Naruto, clearly impressed.

Then, turning to Boruto, Konohamaru playfully approached him.

"Cough, cough…" Konohamaru cleared his throat and stood proudly before Boruto. "Little guy, your dad is my big brother. That makes you my eldest nephew! From now on, I'll have your back in Konoha. Now, come on—call me 'Uncle,' I want to hear it!"

Konohamaru stood tall, trying his best to look calm and authoritative, despite the awkward situation.

Naruto and Boruto exchanged a glance, both at a loss for words.

Boruto: Is this really Konohamaru-sensei??
