Chapter 175: 175: A Yonko Falls.
Charlotte Linlin appeared with her four top commanders—the Sweet Commanders—confronting Kaido and Zenkichi head-on.
Almost every elite force on Cake Island had been mobilized. It was clear that Big Mom took Kaido and Zenkichi's arrival very seriously.
As soon as the two groups met, Charlotte Linlin sneered mockingly at Kaido.
"Kaido, never thought I'd live to see the day you became someone's beast of burden."
Zenkichi stepped forward, unfazed. "Don't bother wasting your breath. He can't hear you anymore."
Charlotte Linlin's expression tightened. She narrowed her eyes and examined Zenkichi closely.
"So you're Zenkichi? I seem to remember sending you an invitation to my tea party."
"But you're early. It hasn't even begun yet."
"And what do you mean Kaido can't hear me?"
Zenkichi replied calmly, "I've taken control of Kaido. He's my puppet now."
"No matter what you say, it won't reach him. He's no longer listening—he's mine."
The mood shifted immediately. Linlin's expression darkened, and her commanders tensed.
Kaido, the Beast, was one of the most powerful figures in the world. For someone to control him? That wasn't just impossible—it was unimaginable.
But Kaido's silence, his stillness, only proved Zenkichi's words to be true. The Kaido they knew would have gone into a rage upon hearing such claims. Instead, he stood there, unmoved.
Charlotte Linlin's tone lowered. "Kaido isn't someone you can control so easily. How did you do it?"
"With power," Zenkichi answered coldly. "I simply overpowered him."
Linlin let out a sharp laugh. "I don't buy that. But I'm guessing you didn't come all the way here just to brag."
Zenkichi stepped forward. "Correct. I'm here to inform you that from this day forward, the Big Mom Pirates serve me."
"If you object, feel free to fight me. I won't hold back."
"But if you lose… I'll do more than defeat you. I'll strip you of your will, just as I did Kaido. You'll be my puppet too."
Linlin burst out laughing. "Is that a threat? It's been a long time since anyone had the guts to talk to me like that."
"But if you think words alone will break me, you're dreaming. Pirates don't bend so easily."
With a wave of her hand, dark clouds swirled overhead. Thunder rumbled.
"Zeus, attack!"
From the skies, the thundercloud Homie Zeus—infused with a piece of Linlin's soul—responded. It expanded across the sky and rained bolts of lightning down upon Zenkichi.
"Boring," Zenkichi muttered.
Without moving, a barrier of pure spiritual pressure shimmered above him, effortlessly deflecting the lightning.
Undeterred, Charlotte Linlin removed her hat and transformed it into her weapon—Napoleon, the sentient sword.
She charged in, roaring with fury, Napoleon raised high.
Zenkichi didn't budge.
With a sudden burst of movement, he vanished and reappeared in front of her, his fist colliding with her gut. The impact echoed like thunder.
Blood burst from Linlin's mouth as her steel-like body cracked under the force. She stumbled back, dazed.
Raising his hand, Zenkichi summoned more spiritual pressure. The heavens roared as it surged upward and shattered the Zeus overhead.
"You're weaker than I expected," he said coolly, walking toward her.
Charlotte Linlin's children charged forward in a desperate attempt to protect their mother, but Kaido stepped in.
Wielding his massive kanabo, Kaido crushed them without mercy, knocking them all unconscious in seconds.
Zenkichi approached Linlin, who lay coughing and bloodied on the ground.
"Charlotte Linlin, be my puppet."
His Mangekyō Sharingan activated, the intricate pattern glowing with sinister light. Without even meeting her eyes, his mental force invaded her mind.
Her will shattered like glass.
Just as Danzō had once controlled Mifune with his Sharingan while his eyes were hidden, Zenkichi's power didn't require direct contact. His mental domination was overwhelming.
Charlotte Linlin—Big Mom—was now his.
Over the next few days, Zenkichi consolidated her forces, bringing the entire Big Mom Pirates under his command.
With two Emperors of the Sea already fallen before him, Zenkichi turned his eyes to the next target: the Whitebeard Pirates.
They didn't have a fixed base, sailing the seas on the Moby Dick. But tracking them wasn't difficult—not for someone like Zenkichi.
Soon enough, the shadow of a man descended from the sky, landing heavily on the deck of the great ship.
The Whitebeard Pirates had been mid-celebration, their laughter dying the moment Zenkichi landed.
Whitebeard frowned and looked to the sky, his instincts screaming. He rose slowly, his eyes locked onto the stranger who had silenced the deck with his presence alone.
All eyes turned to Zenkichi.
He had come.
