When Kakashi met Obito Uchiha again, he remained cold and unwilling to say much.

Obito Uchiha grabbed Kakashi's arm tightly, his voice low. "Kakashi, I've heard about what happened with your father..."

Kakashi replied indifferently, "So? What are you trying to say?"

Obito gazed fiercely at Kakashi. "Kakashi, I know how you must feel right now. I understand your pain..."

Kakashi cut him off. "Stop right there, Obito. You don't understand me at all. If you're here just to comfort me, there's no need. Besides, we aren't that close. There's nothing more for us to talk about."

He yanked his arm free from Obito's grip and strode ahead.

Rin Nohara looked on sadly.

She couldn't understand why Kakashi had become so cold and distant.

Obito shouted after him. "Kakashi, aren't we still friends?"

Kakashi stopped, responding flatly. "Friends? Don't flatter yourself. I don't have any friends!"

As Kakashi continued walking, Minato Namikaze stepped in front of him. "Kakashi, what Sakumo did was actually the right thing. Companions matter deeply. It's just that because of the war, people in the village became too repressed, which eventually led to this tragedy."

Kakashi looked up at Minato. "You're saying my father did the right thing, yet also claim the villagers were too repressed to cause this tragedy. Then tell me, who is really to blame for all this?"

Minato frowned slightly, then answered solemnly. "It's the war's fault. Without it, such a tragedy wouldn't have occurred."

Kakashi sneered. "That's just like Instructor Chinya—making all these excuses without even understanding a thing, acting like no one did anything wrong."

Minato gazed heavily at Kakashi's retreating figure.

The twenty Cloud Ninja arrived at the location where Chinya had just killed the four other Cloud Ninja.

Seeing yet another four comrades slain, all of them seethed with rage.

The leader among them coldly ordered, "They were killed not long ago—we need to move fast—we might still catch him!"

"No need to chase. I'm already waiting for you. You sure took your time getting here—I've been waiting forever."

Chinya jumped down from the tree trunk and stood directly facing the twenty Cloud Ninja.

All the Cloud Ninja glared at Chinya with bloodshot eyes: "Crimson-Eyed Asura, Chinya!"

"Ahh, what is it? Do you think calling me by name will make me surrender obediently? Enough chatter—let's fight!"

Chinya unsheathed his Ninja Sword, pointing its blade toward the twenty Cloud Ninja before him.

The leading Cloud Ninja barked quietly, "Use that technique! End this quickly—don't give him any chance to counterattack!"

Five Chunin-level Cloud Ninja simultaneously performed hand seals.

[Lightning Release! Lightning Traction!]

After completing the seals, they pressed both palms onto the ground.

Five pillars rose around the battlefield. Crackling lightning surged between them, forming a vast electric prison enclosing both Chinya and the twenty Cloud Ninja within.

As Chinya attempted to use Thunder Flash, he realized his body was being pulled by the currents of electricity.

"I see… have you devised Ninjutsu specifically to counteract my Thunder Breathing?"

As soon as Chinya used any Lightning-based techniques, he would be affected by the traction from the electrical barrier, greatly reducing his speed.

In effect, within this thunderous prison, the effects of Chinya's Thunder Breathing would be severely diminished.

But the Cloud Ninja weren't done yet—they aimed to eliminate Chinya in one decisive strike, avoiding any unexpected situations.

Four Jonin-level Cloud Ninja used Lightning Body to appear in positions surrounding Chinya. They quickly performed hand seals together.

Four Cloud Jonin simultaneously raised their hands, lightning crackling in their grips before shooting skyward. The bolts converged midair, forming a concentrated mass.

In a flash, the lightning condensed into a wall of electricity, trapping Chinya inside.

Chinya's eye twitched violently as he felt the intense surge of energy. His sixth sense cried out—if he was hit by this technique, there was no surviving.

But Chinya covered his face and laughed hysterically, "Hahaha! You really went all out just to kill me. But do you really think this is enough to finish me off?"

Then his tone darkened. "Well then… go ahead! Do your worst!"

Chinya lowered his hand from his face—his Mangekyo Sharingan had fully awakened.
