Orochimaru and Chinya left the Hokage Tower together.

At the entrance of the Hokage Tower, Orochimaru said to Chinya, "From now on, you'll be coming with me to the battlefield. Go make some preparations. Restock your ninja tools, and come find me at the base tomorrow morning."

After breaking the seal on the scroll, a ninja sword appeared.

This was Ouyu Luo's ninja sword.

Chinya left the room and headed toward Mito Uzumaki's residence, intending to inform Kushina Uzumaki about his upcoming deployment.

Upon arriving at Mito Uzumaki's estate, Kushina Uzumaki greeted him at the door.

Chinya said with pleasant surprise, "Kushina, you're already awake."

Remembering the kiss earlier, Kushina blushed, her cheeks flushed red. She shyly lowered her head slightly and softly murmured an affirmative sound.

Chinya told Kushina, "Kushina, I'm leaving tomorrow morning with Orochimaru-sensei for the Land of Hot Water to carry out an extended mission. I might be staying there for quite a while."

"What?"

Kushina suddenly lifted her head, surprised and visibly disappointed.

Chinya reached out, ruffling her hair affectionately as he smiled. "Even if I'm gone a while, I'll make sure to come back to Konoha and see you."

Pouting slightly, Kushina replied. She hadn't seen Chinya in days. Despite what happened, she rushed through her morning routine as soon as waking up, changed into a pretty outfit, and waited excitedly for him to arrive.

Even if they just sat together somewhere, chatting would have been nice enough.

But now he was leaving again.

Noticing Kushina's expression, Chinya looked at her tenderly. "We don't actually leave until tomorrow morning. We still have some time. Want to go out and walk around a bit?"

Kushina immediately brightened, nodding enthusiastically. "Okay! Let's go right now!"

After greeting Mito Uzumaki, Kushina accompanied Chinya around Konoha.

They walked silently through the forest near the village, not saying a word, just soaking in the quiet and happiness of the moment.

It wasn't until dark that Chinya finally escorted Kushina Uzumaki back home.

At the entrance of Mito Uzumaki's residence, Chinya instructed, "Kushina, Konoha has been unstable lately. Stay close to Lady Mito for now. Also, if anything happens, just ring that bell and I'll do my best to come immediately..."

Chinya said a lot, and Kushina Uzumaki just kept looking at his face, listening quietly.

After finishing his instructions, Kushina suddenly grabbed Chinya's right hand.

Chinya's right hand was wrapped in bandages. Kushina's eyes locked onto the bandages.

Chinya gently pulled Kushina Uzumaki into his arms and whispered softly, "You've never been my burden. You're my pride, my drive, and the whole reason I keep going."
